    Kemajuan pesat sedang dibuat di bidang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, dengan industri otomotif, khususnya sepeda motor electric fuel injection (EFI). Untuk memaksimalkan performa mesin pada sepeda motor injeksi maka perlu pengoptimalan injeksi bahan bakar ke ruang bakar. Cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah merubah durasi injeksi bahan bakar menggunakan ECU programmable aftermarket. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut. Jenis penelitian berupa pengaruh perubahan durasi injeksi terhadap kinerja mesin sepeda motor beat FI 110cc dengan variasi pengubahan durasi injeksi +5%, +10%, +15%, -5%, -10%, -15% dengan parameter yang dicari adalah torsi, daya dan konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik. Daya, torsi dan konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik berbahan bakar pertamax. Hasil pengujian variasi durasi injeksi -5% menghasilkan nilai daya terbesar 7,5 HP diputaran 4122 rpm. Hasil pengujian variasi durasi injeksi +5% menghasilkan nilai torsi sebesar 18,94 Nm diputaran 2468 rpm. Hasil pengujian variasi durasi injeksi menghasilkan nilai konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik terendah dengan nilai 0,018 kg/kWh diputaran 4000 rpm pada durasi injeksi -15% dan nilai tertinggi konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik  0,119 kg/kWh diputaran 8000 rpm pada durasi injeksi +15%.Kata Kunci: Durasi injeksi, Daya, Torsi, Konsumsi bahan bakar spesifi

    A Standard Operating Procedure Video for Dauni Spa and Beauty House to Standardize Its Therapists' Service Qualities

    Dauni Spa, the company where I did my internship, provides spa treatment, sauna, and salon service. During my internship at Dauni Spa, I found there are various practices of massage techniques performed by the therapists that lead to inconsistency in the service qualities. This problem certainly resulted in unsatisfactory treatment because the customers would not be satisfied to receive inconsistent service quality. Aside from this problem, many newly-recruited therapists did not know the standard procedures of massage in Dauni Spa while they needed to start working very soon. Therefore, I intend to make a standard operating procedure (SOP) video as a solution to the problems. For the newly recruited therapists, the SOP video can give effective and efficient instructions of the standard procedures in Dauni Spa. For the old therapists, this video works as a standard service quality that should be put into practice by all therapists. The basic content of this video is the procedures of the massage and a little background information about Dauni Spa. From this video, there are some benefits that Dauni Spa can get. It can complete the written SOP that they have, cut down the cost of a trainer, and bring a good impact to the customers' satisfaction

    Beyond two criteria for supersingularity: coefficients of division polynomials

    Let E: y^2 = x^3 + Ax + B be an elliptic curve defined over a finite field of characteristic p\geq 3. In this paper we prove that the coefficient at x^{p(p-1)/2} in the p-th division polynomial \psi_p(x) of E equals the coefficient at x^{p-1} in (x^3 + Ax + B)^{(p-1)/2}. The first coefficient is zero if and only if the division polynomial has no roots, which is equivalent to E being supersingular. Deuring (1941) proved that this supersingularity is also equivalent to the vanishing of the second coefficient. So the zero loci of the coefficients (as functions of A and B) are equal; the main result in this paper is clearly stronger than this last statement.Comment: 8 page

    Advances in Superconducting Single-photon Detectors

    Superconducting single-photon detectors can detect photons from the UV to the infrared with quantum efficiencies above 90% and greater than MHz count rates. They consist of narrow, thin wires of superconductor biased near their critical current. When these wires absorb a photon, part of the wire stops superconducting and becomes resistive. This transition and sudden jump in resistance is what enables the detection of the photon. Over the past two decades, these devices have matured greatly as a technology and have found many applications ranging from quantum optics to astronomy. However, there are still multiple theories of the dominant mechanism behind these devices. Recently proposed theories suggest a more complicated but potentially more powerful detection mechanism, and experiments are only recently starting to demonstrate this effect and its potential applications. In this research, the capability to fabricate these intricate devices was developed. This requires high-quality deposition of the superconductors, precise machining of the devices with electron beam lithography, and accurate etching of the films. Many parts of the process have been characterized. Additionally, two new directions are being explored. The first attempts to exploit the recently proposed detection mechanism to make detectors with much wider wires, leading to faster detection rates.     Rapid progress is being made in the field of science and technology, particularly in the automotive industry, specifically in electric fuel injection (EFI) motorcycles. To optimize engine performance in fuel-injected motorcycles, fuel injection into the combustion chamber needs to be optimized. One approach to achieve this is by adjusting the fuel injection duration using aftermarket programmable Engine Control Units (ECUs). This research aims to address this issue. The study focuses on investigating the effects of varying fuel injection durations on the performance of a 110cc FI (Fuel Injection) Beat motorcycle engine. The variations considered include +5%, +10%, +15%, -5%, -10%, and -15% changes in fuel injection duration. The parameters of interest are torque, power, and specific fuel consumption. The tests were conducted using Pertamax fuel. The results of the tests revealed that a -5% change in injection duration produced the highest power output of 7.5 HP at 4122 rpm. Meanwhile, a +5% change in injection duration resulted in a torque value of 18.94 Nm at 2468 rpm. Furthermore, the testing showed that the lowest specific fuel consumption was recorded at 0.018 kg/kWh at 4000 rpm for a -15% injection duration, whereas the highest specific fuel consumption of 0.119 kg/kWh occurred at 8000 rpm for a +15% injection duration

    Penelitian ini dilakukan di Proyek Jalan Tol Ujung Pandang Seksi 3, Jalan AndiPangeran Pettarani, Makassar Sulawesi Selatan. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui kinerjalalu lintas Jalan A. P. Pettarani akibat erection box girder. Span LG P46-P47 dan Span Shoring P71-P72.Berdasarkan analisis hasil perhitungan kecepatan rata-rata kendaraan pada saat erection box girder pada span P71-P72 adalah 11,21 km/jam, sedangkan kecepatan rata-rata kendaraan sebelum konstruksi 52,50 km/jam, atau mengalami penurunan kecepatan sebesar 78,65%. Untuk hasil perhitungan kecepatan rata-rata kendaraan pada saat erection box girder pada span P46-P47 adalah 27,44 km/jam, sedangkan kecepatan rata-rata kendaraan sebelum konstruksi 50,56 km/jam, atau mengalami penurunan kecepatan sebesar 45,73%

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk untuk menganalisis pengaruh profesionalisme, beban kerja dan kompetensi di Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPDB) Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 81 responden pegawai. Data penelitian ini diperoleh dari metode kuantitatif data primer (kuesioner) dan studi kepustakaan sesuai tujuan penelitian. Teknik analis menggunakan uji validitas, uji realibilitas, uji asumsi klasik dan pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme dan kompetensi berpangaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap produktivtias kerja dan beban kerja tidak berpengaruh dan signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diharapkan agar terus mengevaluasi dan memperhatikan profesionalisme, beban kerja dan kompetensi untuk meningkatkan produktivitas kerja pegawai
