The implementation of Lean and Artificial Intelligence has demonstrated a positive correlation across different industries. By integrating AI techniques, the efficiency and effectiveness of Lean processes can be enhanced. The combination of Lean and AI contributes to improved decision-making, increased productivity, and reduced waste. Moreover, AI can identify and rectify process errors, enabling streamlined and more efficient operations. In 2014, Hennig Olsen initiated the implementation of lean thinking, which yielded mixed results initially. However, they decided to adopt lean principles according to their specific requirements, leading to significantly improved outcomes. With the rapid advancement of technology, Hennig Olsen ventured into experimenting with artificial intelligence, particularly in the realm of vision control, starting in 2019. Subsequently, they have consistently embraced and integrated increasingly advanced technologies to continuously enhance their production lines. This case study examined the impact of implementing artificial intelligence on the company's performance. The findings revealed that as Hennig Olsen incorporated more artificial intelligence into their production lines, they experienced a significant reduction in customer complaints. However, they continue to face challenges in meeting their overall equipment effectiveness goals. The thesis also identified potential areas for improvement, emphasizing the potential benefits of integrating six sigma processes through AI initiatives. More specifically, implementing predictive maintenance to minimize unexpected downtime and improve OEE emerged as a key opportunity. Leveraging AI to analyze vast amounts of data could also prove advantageous in optimizing cycle time and reducing waste within the organization. Finally, this report has examined the readiness of Hennig Olsen to further integrate AI tools into their operations. To fully capitalize on the potential benefits of AI and evolve into a comprehensive smart factory, the company needs to invest in additional technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data analytic, and cloud computing. However, a significant hurdle arises from the limitations of their existing machinery, which cannot gather extensive data or establish interconnectivity. Moreover, sourcing qualified personnel proficient in developing these technologies poses a challenge. A more effective strategy, along with support from stakeholders, is necessary to encourage investments in new technologies. This will facilitate the successful implementation of AI technologies and foster improved acceptance of new technology among employees

Housing and employment for people with developmental disabilities is of great importance to ensuring equal living conditions and basic human rights. Social therapeutic housing communities as an alternative to public housing, offers extensive and varied housing and employment, based on an anthroposophical care ideology. Erik Allardts need - oriented theory of living conditions is a fruitful analytical tool to examine and assess the significant features of the anthroposophical care ideology as the basis for social therapeutic housing for people with developmental disabilities. The study shows that it is possible to create a housing that takes into account both the need to be an independent individual with her own apartment, while placing high value on the subject of community. The anthroposophical care ideology that is at work in everyday life in this housing community seems to harmonize with Allard's theory of the different human needs; appropriate material resources, social relations and an acceptance of who you are in the surrounding community and society. Participatory observation as a method provides detailed descriptions of everyday life in a housing community for people with developmental disabilities. The method allows a capturing of both the subjective opinions of each informant with developmental disabilities express in and about her life, in addition to the social context in which these statements is given. The study of a social therapeutic housing community suggests that the residents' own perception of their daily life appear to be meaningful and normal with work, friends and leisure time. That there are five houses closely associated with each other both physically and socially, manifests itself in the fact that the residents seem to perceive it as natural to be with other people with special needs on a daily basis. Caring for each other and for the small moments of everyday life are qualities that seem especially important for residents who lives in this accommodation. Many of the residents have lived most of their life in this community. The story of this place shows some major changes in personnel composition, the daily routines and new organizational guidelines to operate a housing community for people with developmental disabilities. This being said, it seems they have maintained and nurtured the anthroposophical caring ideology underlying the work, and the rhythms and rituals that characterize everyday life seems natural as it is the residents themselves whom appear to be the true culture bearers of the institution.Master i sosialt arbei

During the spring 1917 I had the opportunity of carrying out investigations on the occurrence etc. of the pelagic fish eggs and larvae on the Norwegian Skagerack coast. Originally my chief intention was to study cod fry especially, but several things made me alter the scheme of the investigations, I wanted to give an account on the pelagic fish eggs & larvae on the whole before dealing with the special question of the cod fry
