It also provides a complementary analysis of the development of tourism enterprises after the COVID-19 period. Methodology: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with different Stakeholders, in-depth documentary analysis of the total number of active artisans in the municipality, complementing the study with the analysis of entrepreneurship indicators of the Municipality of Barcelos, before and immediately after the COVID-19 period, using the SABI database. Findings: It has been possible to identify the evolution of the business fabric of companies related to the tourism sector in Barcelos in the period of 2019 and 2020, observing the integration of craftsmanship in the economic environment, and the decline at the global level. Furthermore, the extension of creative tourism, its impact in the COVID-19 period and its transcendence in the economic environment of the destination were verified. Research limitations/implications: As it was not possible to verify the integration of active artisans in the tourism enterprises (through the SABI database), personal interviews were conducted with actors in the destination related to the development of creative tourism. Originality/Value: This research provides data that facilitates the understanding of the development of local entrepreneurship, and the identification of new business opportunities in the region. The degree of integration of craft activities, which identifies Barcelos as a creative city, is recognised as a new tool for competitiveness and good governance policies. This study reflects that despite the fundamental role of crafts in the development of regional tourism, the crafts activity segment does not appear as an integral part of the tourism activity sector

For that, the designer Domingos Tótora´s production processes of using cellulose mass and fabric fiber were investigated and based on the Design Science Research method, the set of Companhia benches was developed. These, in addition to being produced according to Slow Design guidelines, also express the city's cultural identity in visual and tactile elements. Through the development of the set of benches, it was possible to observe how Ecodesign combined with slow design can contribute to sustainable design and to understand the peculiarities of the production process proposed by Domingos Tótora based on the experience of prototyping the Companhia benches. The expansion of the internet and the rise of digital media have transformed interpersonal communication and human and commercial relations. Social media are today popular tools to communicate, share and express personal opinions and they have increasingly become alternatives to traditional media in the process of trip planning and decisions, allowing almost real-time information update. This study aimed to measure the use and influence of social media during the tourism trip planning process and the level of trust that tourists attribute to these online tools, compared with other available sources of information. The applied methodology was developed by adapting a previous study conducted by Fotis, Buhalis, and Rossides, with descriptive and critical analyses of the results, and it is justified by the need to expand the observation to other markets in order to learn about the specificities of each group. This study used nonprobability sampling, mainly focused on residents of the city of Belo Horizonte, with voluntary online participation. The findings demonstrated the frequent use of social media in all stages of trip planning among respondents, with these tools being considered the most reliable sources of information, only behind official tourism websites and recommendations of relatives and friends. Purpose – This paper aims to answer the following question: Is PPP a financially viable alternative for the management of regional airports in Brazil? Design/methodology/approach – The methodology is based on the case study of the innovative model of Zona da Mata Regional Airport management. It was used Value for Money as a method to compare this case with the conventional airport management alternative. Findings – It was observed that, when compared to the airport management alternative through contracting third parties, the public–private partnership (PPP) provided a reduction of almost 70% of public spending on the management of this infrastructure. Besides the financial advantage, other benefits of this PPP contract were also observed. Research limitations/implications – The analyses carried out in this study are not exhaustive and can be improved and remade as the life cycle of the PPP contract studied is progressed. Practical implications – It was concluded, from the results found, that PPP is an efficient alternative for the management of regional airports in Brazil, and the model can be replicated for similar airports. Originality/value – When analyzing the results of this innovative project of managing a regional airport through a PPP, this work made it possible to measure the positive impacts of this alternative and demonstrate the potential of the PPP as an alternative for the management of other regional airports in Brazil

The Neotropical genus Neoneura Selys, with 29 described species (Garrison et al., 2010) is the largest one within Protoneuridae. Its species are distributed from southern North America to northern Argentina, but the region of the Amazonas River shows the highest diversity (Machado, 2005). The immature stages of the genus are poorly known, with only the larvae of N. carnatica Selys, 1886, N. fulvicollis Selys, 1886, N. joana Williamson, 1917, and N. maria (Scudder, 1866) described (Needham, 1939; De Marmels, 2007; Geijskes, 1954; Westfall, 1964), representing 14% of the known species. The larva of N. aaroni Calvert, 1903 is included in the key of Westfall and May (2006), but it was not formally described. The larva of N. ethela Williamson, 1917 is currently being described (Souza & Pepinelli, pers. comm.). All known Neoneura larvae possess one pair of premental setae and a well marked nodus on the caudal lamellae. Here we describe the last instar larva of Neoneura kiautai Machado, 2007 based on specimens collected in Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil, therefore increasing the known distribution area of this species formerly known only from Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo States (Machado, 2007).Fil: Anjos Santos, Danielle.
