Der Einsatz von Vergleichskorpora beim Schreiben in der Fremdsprache Deutsch am Beispiel von Bilderbuchrezensionen

Im Beitrag wird auf die Anwendungspotentiale von Vergleichskorpora im Hinblick auf die Förderung fremdsprachlicher Schreibkompetenz im universitären Unterricht mit italienischsprachigen Deutschlernenden eingegangen. Anhand der Konfrontation mit Vergleichskorpora können Lernende prototypische Modelle von Textsorten in der fremden Sprache induktiv erarbeiten, die als Orientierungsinstanz für die eigene Textproduktion dienen können. Am Beispiel des Umgangs mit Bilderbuchrezensionen wird gezeigt, wie dadurch Prozess-, Produkt und Reflexionsorientierung im Unterricht berücksichtigt werden können

Fachintegrierte Einführung in das Wissenschaftliche Schreiben im Bachelorstudium der Germanistik in Italien

This article presents possibilities for supporting academic writing in German as a foreign language by Italian students in bachelor's degree of German Studies. To this end, a didactical proposal is submitted, which has been tested in my own teaching practice and which combines process-related approaches with concepts of model learning, basing on the specific of scientific action by focusing on language in texts and is closely linked to the teaching of subject content. This means that the introduction to scientific writing in the foreign language German is embedded in the subject and subject-specific learning, reading and writing are interwoven. On the basis of the reception and analysis of authentic subject-related texts by experts from German Studies, the learners induce certain phenomena typical of scientific writing through active work on authentic text examples and develop a gradual awareness of the appropriate use of the foreign scientific language and its text-forming means.

Förderung fremdsprachlicher Textkompetenz durch kooperatives computergestütztes Schreiben im DAF-Unterricht

Abstract – This article presents possibilities for supporting textual competence in German as a foreign language, using the wiki-based platform Wikispaces, for Italian school and university-level learners of German who are confronted with writing tasks. The focus will be on the potential of writing-based learning arrangements in which the learners engage in collaborative writing activities in situational contexts. The aim and addressee of the required text are clearly recognisable and learners are able to reflect collectively and by themselves on the effects of their texts. Building on their existing competencies, they can also gain the necessary knowledge to complete the respective writing tasks. This makes it possible to take account of process, product and action orientation at the same time by focusing on the different phases of the writing process and on the functional and linguistic features of texts during the completion of the writing tasks. These are all important elements of effective and competence-supporting writing didactics. Finally, some examples of learning texts developed in two different writing arrangements will be discussed, having regard to aspects of textual competence in the foreign language.Abstract - Im Beitrag werden Möglichkeiten der Förderung fremdsprachlicher Textkompetenz im DaF-Unterricht aufgezeigt und zwar durch die Bewältigung von Schreibaufgaben anhand der wiki-basierten Plattform Wikispaces seitens italienischsprachiger Deutschlernender im schulischen und universitären Bereich. Es wird dabei insbesondere auf die Rahmenbedingungen und Potentiale fokussiert, die sich aus einem unterrichtlichen Schreibarrangment ergeben, in dem die Lernenden Texte im Rahmen situativer Schreibkontexte kooperativ verfassen. Dabei sind Ziel und Adressat des verlangten Textes klar erkennbar und die Lernenden können die Wirkung ihrer Texte gemeinsam und für sich selbst reflektieren. Ausgehend von ihren vorhandenen Kompetenzen können sie außerdem notwendiges Wissen zur Bewältigung der jeweiligen Schreibaufgabe vermittelt bekommen. Dadurch wird es möglich, Prozess-, Produkt- und Handlungsorientierung durch Fokussierung auf die verschiedenen Phasen des Schreibprozesses und auf Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten von Texten bei der Durchführung der Schreibaufgabe gleichzeitig zu berücksichtigen. All dies sind wichtige Komponenten einer effektiven, kompetenzfördernden Schreibdidaktik. Einige in zwei verschiedenen Schreibarrangments entstandene Lernertexte werden schließlich im Hinblick auf Aspekte fremdsprachlicher Textkompetenz besprochen

Synthetic antigen-conjugated DNA systems for antibody detection and characterization

Antibodies are among the most relevant biomolecular targetsfordiagnostic and clinical applications. In this Perspective, we providea critical overview of recent research efforts focused on the developmentand characterization of devices, switches, and reactions based onthe use of synthetic antigen-conjugated DNA strands designed to beresponsive to specific antibodies. These systems can find applicationsin sensing, drug-delivery, and antibody-antigen binding characterization.The examples described here demonstrate how the programmability andchemical versatility of synthetic nucleic acids can be used to createinnovative analytical tools and target-responsive systems with promisingpotentials

Il sistema contabile e la struttura di gobernó del "Campansi" nella seconda metà dell'ottocento

In every city community, there always exist social, economic and political- administrative bodies, whose activities and organisational structures delineate and convey the historical and cultural periods experienced by that community.The city community we aim at investigating is the Sienese one. Siena is universally recognised for its medieval reminders, as well as for those of the Renaissance, distinctly appreciable in its current urban patterns, painting pieces, and cultural goods, of which it is plenty and rightly proud.The organisation we identified as one traditionally characterising –at least in the last century and a half- and still characterising the Sienese history and culture, is the Ricovero di Mendicità, later named Casa di riposo in Campansi per anziani, unanimously known as "Campansi".Undoubtedly, the Campansi one is not the only institution whose structural and operational evolution contributed – and keeps on contributing- to shape the history of Siena, from the social, political and institutional points of view. Nevertheless, it is surely one of the most peculiar ones, in that it has been involved in those charitable activities, which exalted Siena since the second millennium, at the time of the restoring and propitiatory journeys to the main religious destinations: Rome, Jerusalem, and Saint James of Compostela.In this study we adopt a business administration perspective, with particular reference to the structure of the accounting system and its related documentation, which the organisation had been producing in order to memorise, summarise and communicate its administrative events, these latter occurring from the exercise of its institutional function. Moreover, we acknowledge the related governance structure, selected with the purpose of making operational decisions, verifying their execution, and controlling the deriving effects. As a matter of fact, there is a tight interdependency between the governance structure and the accounting system of whichever organisation. Particularly, the investigation refers to the period we considered the most significant and interesting, the one comprised between the issuing of the law "Sull'Amministrazione delle Opere pie" (3rd August 1862) and law "Istituzioni pubbliche di beneficenza", in 1890, respectively known as Rattazzi and Crispi law, from the Prime Ministers in charge at the time of their enactment

Binding of an ankyrin-1 isoform to obscurin suggests a molecular link between the sarcoplasmic reticulum and myofibrils in striated muscles

Assembly of specialized membrane domains, both of the plasma membrane and of the ER, is necessary for the physiological activity of striated muscle cells. The mechanisms that mediate the structural organization of the sarcoplasmic reticulum with respect to the myofibrils are, however, not known. We report here that ank1.5, a small splice variant of the ank1 gene localized on the sarcoplasmic reticulum membrane, is capable of interacting with a sequence of 25 aa located at the COOH terminus of obscurin. Obscurin is a giant sarcomeric protein of ∼800 kD that binds to titin and has been proposed to mediate interactions between myofibrils and other cellular structures. The binding sites and the critical aa required in the interaction between ank1.5 and obscurin were characterized using the yeast two-hybrid system, in in vitro pull-down assays and in experiments in heterologous cells. In differentiated skeletal muscle cells, a transfected myc-tagged ank1.5 was found to be selectively restricted near the M line region where it colocalized with endogenous obscurin. The M line localization of ank1.5 required a functional obscurin-binding site, because mutations of this domain resulted in a diffused distribution of the mutant ank1.5 protein in skeletal muscle cells. The interaction between ank1.5 and obscurin represents the first direct evidence of two proteins that may provide a direct link between the sarcoplasmic reticulum and myofibrils

The role of scientific expertise in COVID-19 policymaking:evidence from four European countries

Immense uncertainty and the need for drastic interventions cause politicians to rely heavily on scientific advice for underpinning or legitimating their COVID-19 decision-making. This paper explores the role of scientific advice in this policy field in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and the UK. It shows that scientific advice is based on the disciplinary, mainly medical, back-grounds of advisors but is also influenced by social and economic values, which are core to what politicians find important. During the pandemic, a growing gap between scientific advice and political decisions is observed
