Mindfulness como técnica para el desarrollo de la autorregulación emocional en alumnos de primer grado de primaria

A lo largo del presente trabajo se planteará la problemática a la necesidad de desarrollar la autorregulación emocional dentro de la educación emocional, debido a que los alumnos de primer grado están conociendo y comprendiendo sus emociones generadas ante ciertas situaciones de la vida diaria, pero será útil implementar técnicas significativas para poder autorregular sus emociones, expresarlas y actuar en los momentos y de forma adecuada. Se presentarán los cuestionamientos que llevan a esta problemática ser una relevante, para que por medio de los objetivos pueda ser resuelto

Tofacitinib or adalimumab versus placebo: patient-reported outcomes from OPAL Broaden-a phase III study of active psoriatic arthritis in patients with an inadequate response to conventional synthetic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs.

Objectives: Tofacitinib is an oral Janus kinase inhibitor for treatment of psoriatic arthritis (PsA). We evaluated patient-reported outcomes (PROs) in patients with PsA refractory to ≥1 conventional synthetic disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (csDMARD-IR) and tumour necrosis factor inhibitor-naïve in a 12-month, phase III randomised controlled trial (OPAL Broaden [NCT01877668]). Methods: Patients (N=422) received tofacitinib 5 mg or 10 mg twice daily, adalimumab 40 mg subcutaneously every 2 weeks or placebo advancing to tofacitinib 5 mg or 10 mg twice daily at month 3. Least squares mean changes from baseline and percentages of patients reporting improvements ≥minimum clinically important differences (MCID); and scores ≥normative values in: Patient Global Assessment of disease activity (PtGA), Pain, Patient Global Joint and Skin Assessment (PGJS), Short Form-36 Health Survey version 2 (SF-36v2), Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy-Fatigue (FACIT-Fatigue), EuroQol 5-Dimensions-3-level questionnaire (EQ-5D-3L) and Ankylosing Spondylitis Quality of Life (ASQoL) were determined. Nominal p values were cited without multiple comparison adjustments. Results: At month 3, PtGA, Pain, PGJS, FACIT-Fatigue, EQ-5D-3L, ASQoL and SF-36v2 Physical Component Summary (PCS), physical functioning (PF), bodily pain (BP) and vitality domain scores exceeded placebo with both tofacitinib doses (p≤0.05); SF-36v2 social functioning with 5 mg twice daily (p≤0.05). Percentages reporting improvements ≥MCID in PtGA, Pain, PGJS, FACIT-Fatigue, ASQoL and SF-36v2 PCS, PF, BP and general health scores exceeded placebo with both tofacitinib doses (p≤0.05) and were similar with adalimumab. Conclusion: csDMARD-IR patients with active PsA reported statistically and clinically meaningful improvements in PROs with tofacitinib compared with placebo at Month 3

Producción y propuesta editorial de un proyecto periodístico sobre animales de compañía: El caso de El Sabueso

El presente trabajo describe la construcción del medio periodístico digital El Sabueso, nacido a partir de la necesidad de profundizar el vínculo que mantienen las personas con los animales de compañía, a través de historias e información de servicio y, por extensión, las problemáticas de los animales en general en el Perú, incluidos los silvestres. Este proyecto nace en abril de 2023 y aspira a convertirse en precursor del periodismo especializado en mascotas y animales, además de promover el interés en nuestro público objetivo, peruanos entre 25 y 35 años, por generar cambios relacionados al bienestar animal. Asimismo, este trabajo aborda de forma teórica el periodismo ambiental, del cual los animales son parte; y describe lo siguiente: 1) propuesta editorial, 2) financiamiento y 3) contenidos en la página web y redes sociales de El Sabueso. Entre los hallazgos principales, resalta el interés de nuestro target en consumir información utilitaria en formatos audiovisuales, a partir de la cantidad de interacciones que se consiguió en TikTok e Instagram. Por otro lado, existe una gran cantidad de temas para escoger sobre el mundo animal, por lo que la propuesta periodística resulta sostenible.The present work presents the construction of the digital journalistic medium El Sabueso, born from the need to deepen the bond that people maintain with companion animals, through stories and service information and by extension the problems of animals, in general in Peru including wild ones. This project was born in April 2023 and aspires to become a precursor of journalism specialized in pets and animals, in addition to promoting interest in our target audience, Peruvian people between 25 and 35 years old, for generating changes related to animal welfare. Likewise, this work theoretically addresses environmental journalism, of which animals are a part; and describes the following: 1) editorial proposal, 2) financing and 3) content on the website and social networks of El Sabueso. Among the main findings, the interest of our target in consuming useful information in audiovisual formats stands out, based on the number of interactions achieved on TikTok and Instagram. On the other hand, there are a large number of topics to choose from about the animal world, so the journalistic proposal is sustainable

Observatorio ENRUTA: Procesos de gentrificación, despojo urbano y elitización del espacio en la zona centro de Guadalajara

En el siguiente documento se rescató la experiencia, el aprendizaje y los hallazgos del Proyecto de Aplicación Profesional: Observatorio En Ruta, el cual se basó en una investigación urbana en el centro histórico de Guadalajara con el fin de observar el proceso de gentrificación que gracias a los proyectos urbanísticos de la zona ocurre. Con una metodología de investigación cualitativa se realizó trabajo de campo, análisis documental, seminarios especializados en temáticas urbanas/sociales, entrevistas y documentación audiovisual. Impact of hospital characteristics on implementation of a Pediatric Early Warning System in resource-limited cancer hospitals

BackgroundPediatric Early Warning Systems (PEWS) aid in identification of deterioration in hospitalized children with cancer but are underutilized in resource-limited settings. Proyecto EVAT is a multicenter quality improvement (QI) collaborative in Latin America to implement PEWS. This study investigates the relationship between hospital characteristics and time required for PEWS implementation.MethodsThis convergent mixed-methods study included 23 Proyecto EVAT childhood cancer centers; 5 hospitals representing quick and slow implementers were selected for qualitative analysis. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 71 stakeholders involved in PEWS implementation. Interviews were recorded, transcribed and translated to English, then coded using a priori and novel codes. Thematic content analysis explored the impact of hospital characteristics and QI experience on time required for PEWS implementation and was supplemented by quantitative analysis exploring the relationship between hospital characteristics and implementation time.ResultsIn both quantitative and qualitative analysis, material and human resources to support PEWS significantly impacted time to implementation. Lack of resources produced various obstacles that extended time necessary for centers to achieve successful implementation. Hospital characteristics, such as funding structure and type, influenced PEWS implementation time by determining their resource-availability. Prior hospital or implementation leader experience with QI, however, helped facilitate implementation by assisting implementers predict and overcome resource-related challenges.ConclusionsHospital characteristics impact time required to implement PEWS in resource-limited childhood cancer centers; however, prior QI experience helps anticipate and adapt to resource challenges and more quickly implement PEWS. QI training should be a component of strategies to scale-up use of evidence-based interventions like PEWS in resource-limited settings

Although textiles are often in opposition to what we consider to be architecture. Architecture is permanent, grounded, fixed; textiles are temporary, flexible, and portable. It is precisely those qualities of variation that allow us to directly modulate our surroundings, which is something we have long relied on textiles to do--not only as clothing, but also very much so in architectural contexts. Even the most iconic of modern architecture with its great expanses of glass and even greater claims of eliminating boundaries is nearly always accompanied by a curtain. In the realm of architectural textiles, curtains in particular go beyond the decorative. They are an essential element to the functionality of the architecture. Curtains have the ability to mediate light, sound, temperature, create spatial boundaries, and allow for direct and tactile interactivity. Rebelde and Elite: Representations of young people on television and the digital screen. A comparative analysis

El objetivo principal del presente trabajo de investigación académica es poder analizar la evolución y cambios en los modelos de identidad de las series Rebelde y Élite; las cuales se estrenaron en 2006 en México y en 2017 en España respectivamente. La investigación se ve enriquecida ya que en las comparaciones mencionadas existe una brecha de tiempo larga; en las cuales las distintas sociedades han presentado cambios en la juventud/adolescencia. Por ello, es de suma importancia analizar cómo las diferentes productoras han representado a través del lenguaje audiovisual los modelos de identidad en sus personajes. Dicho estudio vendrá acompañado además de cómo se ven evidenciados los temas de sexualidad y amistad a través del tiempo.The main objective of this academic research work is to be able to analyze the evolution and changes in the identity models of the Rebelde and Elite series; which premiered in 2006 in Mexico and in 2017 in Spain respectively. The research is enriched since in the mentioned comparisons there is a long-time gap; in which the different societies have presented changes in youth / adolescence. La torsión del omento mayor es una causa infrecuente de dolor abdominal agudo en el servicio de urgencias, ya sea de origen primario o secundario. Corresponde a la rotación del omento en su eje largo que determina congestión venosa e isquemia. Clínicamente imita apendicitis o colecistitis aguda, siendo el diagnóstico realizado frecuentemente en forma quirúrgica. Existen hallazgos característicos en tomografía computarizada, como el «signo del remolino», que permiten el diagnóstico prequirúrgico si el radiólogo conoce la patología. El manejo puede ser conservador, sin embargo algunos autores favorecen el manejo quirúrgico para evitar complicaciones tardías
