This paper reviews the literature on the effects of the use of e-mail on direct participation in decision making (PDM) in organisations. After a brief review of the organisational literature on participation the paper distinguishes e-mail theories on direct participation in three different theoretical perspectives. Then the paper focuses the attention on the role of e-mail in affecting task type, vertical and horizontal communication and their consequences for PDM. PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI METODE MIND MAPPING PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM (PAI) DI SMP ISLAM KARAWANG

Untuk mencapai tujuan dari pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam, guru berperan penting dalam mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan. Tujuan tersebut dapat diwujudkan dengan proses mengajar dengan perencanaan pembelajaran yang tepat, salah satunya pemilihan metode pembelajaran yang dapat menghidupkan suasana kelas agar terlihat aktif. Pendidikan Agama Islam sebagai salah satu bagian dari materi pendidikan mempunyai tanggung jawab untuk dapat merealisasikan tujuan pendidikan  Nasional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Islam Karawang dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan metode mind mapping dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Adapun metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis metode lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan wawancara guna mendapatkan informasi terkait penerapan metode mind mapping dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pai. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: pertama, guru meyiapkan langkah-langkah pembelajaran. Kedua, guru memberikan arahan kepada siswa terkait penggunaan metode maind mapping. Adapun hambatan yang terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran: pertama, waktu. Kedua, hanya siswa aktif yang terlibat, ketiga Tidak sepenuhnya murid yang belajar. Keempat, Jumlah detail informasi tidak dapat dimasukkan. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut guru pai di SMP Islam Karawang harus lebih aktif lagi dalam memotivasi siswa untuk belajar dan untuk mengarahkan pembuatan mind mapping dengan menyesuaikan materi yang dibahas

HUBUNGAN PENGGUNAAN SARANA PRAKTEK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA KOMPETENSI DASAR MEMBUBUT DI SMK NEGERI 2 BANDUNG

Rendahnya nilai praktek membubut siswa tingkat XI di SMK Negeri 2 Bandung menjadi latar belakang dalam penyusunan skripsi ini, dari hasil pengamatan observasi terdapat 41,4% Siswa mendapatkan nilai di bawah KKM. Selain itu perbandingan antara sarana praktek dengan jumlah siswa dirasa kurang dengan perbandingan rasio 1 mesin digunakan oleh 4 siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran sarana praktek apakah telah sesuai standar yang ditetapkan, hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar membubut tahun ajaran 2013-2014, serta tingkat hubungan antara sarana praktek dengan hasil belajar siswa di SMK Negeri 2 Bandung tingkat XI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, yang terdiri atas uji korelasi, uji regresi linier sederhana dan uji hipotesis, dengan sampel sebanyak 60 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukan rasio penggunaan sarana praktek di SMK Negeri 2 Bandung belum memenuhi standar yang ditetapkan pemerintah, sebanyak 55% siswa mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 7,35 serta terdapat kategori yang sangat kuat antara sarana praktek dengan hasil belajar siswa di SMK Negeri 2 Bandung the low value practice membubut students level XI in public SMK 2 Bandung goes to ground in drafting this thesis from the observation there are 41,4 percent of students get a under KKM.Besides comparisons between a means to practice with number of students are less by comparison ratio 1 machine used by 4 students.The purpose of this research is to know picture facilities practice whether it has been as standard set, study result of the students on competence basic membubut school year 2013-2014, and level the relation between a means to practice with study result of the students in public SMK 2 Bandung level XI.Methods used in this research is quantitative descriptive, consisting of test the correlation, test linear regression simple and test hypotheses, with sample 60 students.Research showed ratio use facilities practices in public SMK 2 Bandung not conform to established standards government, as many as 55% of students receive an average of 7.35 and there is a very strong category between the means of practice with learning outcomes of students in SMK Negeri 2 Bandun

Quality Assurance Policies and Indicators for Long-Term Care in the European Union

This Policy Brief summarises findings from Work Package (WP) 5 of the ANCIEN project and its three objectives: first, collecting comprehensive information on national quality assurance policies and indicators in LTC systems in 15 EU member states; second, using the collected data to derive a typology of national systems on quality in LTC; and third, producing recommendations at all levels (European, national and local) to improve quality of LTC in Europe. The study has identified four clusters of countries based on the respective quality assurance policies and indicators. Comparing these results with the clusters identified in WP1, gaps between national policies for LTC and quality assurance policies have been identified. Also, some quality issues have been identified and analysed across Europe: professional integration, the quality of informal care, the transparency of quality assessment results, quality monitoring and professional education. This paper provides policy recommendations on these issues

Fonologi Bahasa Bajau di Desa Tanjung Perepat Kecamatan Biduk-Biduk Kabupaten Berau

The purpose of this study is to describe vocal phonemes, consonant phonemes, and diphttlefish found in Bajau language in Tanjung Perepat village. So that with this research can be one of the comparison materials to deepen the knowledge of regional language research, especially bajau language. This research was carried out in Tanjung Perepat village, Biduk-Biduk District, Berau Regency by using the listening method and capable methods in collecting research data and realized through SLC (Simak Libat Cakap) and CS (Cakap Semuka) techniques combined with record techniques and record techniques. Based on the presentation of data and data analysis obtained from the results of research on the Bajau language in Tanjung Perepat village, six vowel phonemes were found, namely: /a/, /e/, /ǝ/, /i/, /o/, and /u/. Sixteen consonant phonemes, namely: /b/, /c/, /d/, /g/, /h/, /j/, /k/, /l/, /m/, /n/, /ŋ/, /p/, /r/, /s/, /t/, and /w/. Career and Technical Education Completers\u27 Perspectives of College and Career Readiness

At a southeast United States high school career center, career and technology education (CTE) programs failed to meet the state career and college readiness benchmarks. Meeting these benchmarks is necessary for students who transition from high school to the workplace or a postsecondary education program. Bandura\u27s social learning theory served as the conceptual framework for this study. The purpose of this bounded, qualitative case study was to explore students\u27 perspectives of their career and college readiness or nonreadiness after completing a CTE program. Purposeful sampling was used to identify 10 participants who had completed a vocational technical center (VTC) CTE program. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews composed of open-ended questions. Interview data were analyzed thematically using open coding. Participants stated that CTE diversity and leadership training did not prepare them for a career or a college degree. They determined they would benefit from project-based learning, collaborative work groups, on-site work experiences, technology integration, creating and developing ideas and products, and interpersonal skills in CTE programs. Based on the findings of this study, a 9-week CTE curriculum was designed to increase career and college readiness outcomes grounded on the Secretary\u27s Commission on Acquiring Necessary Skills (SCANS) framework. This endeavor may contribute to positive social change by assisting administrators and teachers in the decision-making process for CTE courses and programs; ultimately, improving career and college readiness for CTE program completers

ABSTRAKDANDI ABDI PUTRA TINJAUAN KRIMINOLOGIS TINDAK PIDANA 2016 PENCURIAN DENGAN PEMBERATAN YANG DILAKUKAN OLEH REMAJA (Suatu Penelitian di Rumah Tahanan Klas II B Banda Aceh) Fakultas Hukum Universitas Syiah Kuala(v,54), pp.,tabl.,bibl.( Mahfud, S.H., LLM )Tindak Pidana Pencurian dengan Pemberatan diatur dalam Pasal 363 KUHP yang menyebutkan bahwa di ancam pidana penjara paling lama 7 tahun terhadap pencurian ternak, pencurian pada waktu kebakaran, gunumg meletus, gempa, banjir, huru-hara, pemberontakan atau bahaya perang, pencurian pada malam hari, pencurian yang dilakukan oleh dua orang atau lebih, dan pencurian yang dilakukan dengan merusak, memotong, perintah palsu atau pakaian jabatan palsu. Meskipun sudah diatur bahwa pencurian sebagai perbuatan yang dilarang namun dalam kenyataanya masih banyak terdapat kasus pencurian.Tujuan penulisan skripsi ini adalah untuk menjelaskan faktor penyebab terjadinya tindak pidana pencurian dengan pemberatan yang dilakukan oleh remaja di Kota Banda Aceh dan untuk mengetahui upaya yang harus dilakukan dalam menanggulangi tindak pidana pencurian dengan pemberatan yang dilakukan oleh remaja di Kota Banda Aceh.Untuk memperoleh data dalam skripsi ini dilakukan penelitian kepustakaan dan penelitian lapangan. Penelitian kepustakaan dilakukan guna memperoleh data sekunder yang bersifat teoritis. Sedangkan penelitian lapangan dilakukan guna memperoleh data primer melalui wawancara dengan responden dan informan.Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa faktor penyebab remaja melakukan pencurian dengan pemberatan yaitu faktor pola asuh orang tua, faktor ekonomi, faktor pergaulan, faktor pendidikan, faktor pengendalian diri, faktor lifestyle, dan faktor adanya kesempatan. Upaya penanggulangan terhadap tindak pidana pencurian yang dilakukan oleh aparat penegak hukum yaitu upaya pre-emtif yaitu upaya menanamkan nilai-nilai moral, upaya preventif yaitu upaya lanjutan dari pre-emtif dengan mencegah tindak pidana pencurian terjadi dan upaya represif yaitu upaya penindakan terhadap pelaku pencurian. Disarankan agar orang tua lebih mengawasi anaknya agar tidak melakukan perbuatan menyimpang. Dan Anggota Kepolisian Pembinaan Masyarakat lebih konsisten dalam menanggulangi kejahatan pencurian khususnya remaja agar remaja tersebut tidak menggulangi perbuatannya lagi sehingga masyarakat Kota Banda Aceh hidup damai dan tentram
