Strong Gravitational Lensing in a Charged Squashed Kaluza- Klein Black hole
In this paper we investigate the strong gravitational lensing in a charged
squashed Kaluza-Klein black hole. We suppose that the supermassive black hole
in the galaxy center can be considered by a charged squashed Kaluza-Klein black
hole and then we study the strong gravitational lensing theory and estimate the
numerical values for parameters and observables of it. We explore the effects
of the scale of extra dimension and the charge of black hole

Ripple burn control
The ripple contribution to the ion thermal conductivity is ideally suited in magnitude, temperature dependence, and spatial dependence to serve as a burn control mechanism. Furthermore, a considerable measure of automatic burn control results because of the radial shift of the plasma to a region of higher ripple. Unfortunately, the window in ripple values consistent with both ignition and a burn equilibrium is uncomfortably narrow, given the current lack of contact between the theoretical models of ripple transport and experimental observations. A survey is made of the techniques to vary the ripple and thus broaden the design window. One new technique is discussed in some detail: the use of ferromagnetic materials in the shield with magnetic properties which are sensitive functions of the operating temperature
Immunity to Campylobacter: its role in risk assessment and epidemiology
Acquired immunity is an important factor in the epidemiology of campylobacteriosis in the developing world, apparently limiting symptomatic infection to children of less than two years. However, also in developed countries the highest incidence is observed in children under five years and the majority of Campylobacter infections are asymptomatic, which may be related to the effects of immunity and/or the ingested doses. Not accounting for immunity in epidemiological studies may lead to biased results due to the misclassification of Campylobacter-exposed but apparently healthy persons as unexposed. In risk assessment studies, health risks may be overestimated when immunity is neglected
