An Analysis of the Effect of the Implementation of an Integrated Management System (IMS) on Work Ergonomics in an O&M Power Plant Company

Ergonomics has developed significantly for the prevention of related accidents. Its implementation, however, depends on the existing management system within a company. The integrated management system (IMS) is frequently implemented in industry, which is an integration of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001. The objectives of this research were to analyze the effects of IMS implementation on work ergonomics and to find the influencing factors. The methods used were the 4x4 method for investigating accidents; interviews; and a questionnaire for workers and managers at an electricity company. The subjects were divided into three levels, namely: top management, middle management, and workers. Logistic regression was used to analyze and estimate the effects of one or more management variables on ergonomics related accidents. The results showed that the implementation of IMS has supported work ergonomics very well based on the average scores, which ranged from 2.99 to 3.38. The logistic regression showed that the most influential IMS on work ergonomics was the Do (D) of Deming's PDCA cycle, whereas the most influential parameter for ergonomics accident prevention was Policy (P) and Do (D) at the top management level

Pengaruh Financial Distress, Pergantian Manajemen dan Ukuran Kap terhadap Auditor Switching

Aim of this research is to examine the effect of financial distress, management turnover and Public Accountant Firm (KAP) size on switching auditors of service companies real estate and property sub-sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2011-2016. Secondary data is sourced from financial statements, published by the Capital Market on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The type of research used in this study is testing hypotheses, using purposive sampling method. There are 210 data samples that are used as research objects. This study uses logistic regression analysis to test the hypothesis. The results showed that financial distress and KAP size had a significant effect on switching auditors with a negative coefficient direction, while management change had a significant effect on the auditor switching with a positive coefficient direction. Study Tentang Tiga Varietas Terung dengan Komposisi Media Tanam terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Tanaman

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keberhasilan tiga varietas terung dengan komposisi media tanam yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung. Penelitian ini merupakan percobaan faktorial yang disusun secara rancangan acak lengkap dengan dua faktor dan diulang tiga kali. Faktor I terdiri dari 3 faktor yaitu varietas terung (V) yang meliputi V1 = varietas aubergine, V2 = varietas fortuna F1 dan V3 = varietas Mustang F1 dan faktor II terdiri dari 4 faktor, yaitu komposisi media tanam (M) yang meliputi M1 = tanah : pasir : pupuk kandang (1 : 1 : 1) ; M2 = tanah : pasir : pupuk kandang (1 : 1 : 2) ; M3 = tanah : pasir : pupuk kandang (1 : 2 : 1) dan M4 = tanah : pasir : pupuk kandang (2 : 1 : 1). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya interaksi antara tiga varietas terung dengan komposisi media tanam terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman dan jumlah daun, dan berbeda nyata pada parameter jumlah buah dan berat buah pada umur 77 hari sampai umur 91 hari setelah tanam

Background:Mother's Milk is a nutrient that is essential for the baby to support development.Exclusive breastfeeding breast milk is given to infants without the addition of any food and beverages except medicine and vitamins for 6 months.Breastmilk include omega 3, DHA, and AA have a role in optimizing the development of children who are aligned with the stimulation provided.The development is a process of someone in the act, to adapt to the environment and a custom in improving behavior to improve the competency of life. Objective: To identifythe relationship of exclusive breastfeeding to not breastfeeding exclusively on the development of children aged 3-12 months. Methods:The method used in this study was observational with cross sectional study design.Subject studies in children aged 3-12 monthsPosyandu health centers working area Karanggede, Boyolali district.Sampling using consecutive sampling with a sample of 60 children.Measuring instruments used in this study was a questionnaire exclusive breastfeeding and pre-screening questionnaire development.Data analysis using Chi-square test with the program as SPSS 22.0 for windows. Results: From the existing data on get results with p = 0.001 (p <0.05) and PR with a value of 0.133 (95% CI = 0.040 to 0.446). Conclusion:There is a relationship of exclusive breastfeeding with no exclusive breastfeeding on the development of children aged 3-12 month
