Dynamics of Axion Clumps in the Milky Way halo to study Dark Matter

Despite they enhance the local DM density, the crossing of miniclusters through Earth are rare events occurring once in 105 years making direct detection inefficient. Although dense, a small fraction of these structures become unbound by tidal interaction with astronomical objects, as shown mainly with stars. The perspectives of detection will depend on which fraction of axion minicluster gets disrupted and therefore, tidal interactions are reviewed in detail in this paper. As a result of the destruction, tidal axion streams are expected to form along the minicluster’s previous direction in a coherentand large shape. Stream crossings are more probable events so it has been analysed if density may still be larger than the local DM density and therefore, be a real chance in direct detection systems such as haloscope

Efecto del macro-diseño de pilares en la estabilización del tejido blando y duro periimplantar a los 6 meses de la colocación de implantes dentales con cambio de plataforma. Estudio clínico controlado aleatorizado a simple ciego

Numerosos estudios han demostrado que los implantes dentales (ID) representan una terapia alternativa predecible para el tratamiento de pacientes parcial o completamente desdentados a largo plazo, presentando tasas de éxito y supervivencia superiores al 97%. Sin embargo, no solo es primordial el conseguir elevadas tasas de supervivencia y una mínima pérdida ósea crestal, sino que la obtención de resultados estéticos y biológicos esta cobrando cada vez más importancia. En los últimos años se han desarrollado diferentes diseños de ID y pilares, así como protocolos quirúrgicos y restaurativos con el objetivo de mejorar no solo la osteointegración de los ID, sino también la estabilidad de los tejidos periimplantarios a largo plazo. Centrándonos en el papel que podría desempeñar el efecto del macro-diseño del pilar en el establecimiento y mantenimiento de los tejidos blandos periimplantarios, se llevó a cabo el presente estudio clínico experimental, paralelo, controlado, aleatorizado y a simple ciego para aportar nuevos datos acerca de la influencia del macro-diseño de pilares en los cambios horizontales, verticales y volumétricos del tejido blando periimplantario, así como su efecto en el remodelado óseo, en ID con cambio de plataforma a los 6 meses de su colocación

El equipaje del destierro: exilio, diáspora y resistencia de la nueva canción chilena (1973-1981)

The �New Chilean Song� was an important musical movement, generally linked to the �pacific way� to reach socialism, promoted by Salvador Allende. From mid-60�s until the latter 80�s, the �popular Chilean song� became a vehicle of expression to the committed artists. The members of this musical movement were persecuted by Pinochet regime and most of them had to leave the country, continuing abroad their resistance to the dictatorship. In this paper I will examine the �New Song� in the stage of exile, trying to reflect the impact of the exile on this collective of artists, and which were the strategies used to continue with the militancy and to keep supporting artistic activities in the exile. To accomplish this it will be considered the cases of Isabel Parra, Gitano Rodriguez and the music bands Inti Illimani and Quilapayún, among others.La Nueva Canción Chilena fue un importante movimiento musical, generalmente asociado a la �vía pacífica� al socialismo que impulsó Salvador Allende. Desde mediados de la década del 60 hasta fines de los 80, la canción popular chilena se transformó en vehículo de expresión para los artistas comprometidos. Los integrantes de este movimiento musical fueron perseguidos por el régimen pinochetista y debieron exilarse en su gran mayoría, continuando en el exterior su resistencia a la dictadura. En este trabajo me ocuparé de la Nueva Canción en la etapa del exilio, tratando de reflejar como impactó el destierro sobre este colectivo de artistas y cuales fueron las estrategias desplegadas para continuar la militancia, a la vez que, sustentar una actividad artística en el exilio. Para tal fin serán considerados, entre otros, los casos de Isabel Parra, Gitano Rodríguez y los grupos Inti Illimani y Quilapayún

Exilio, denuncia y militancia política: El LP Venceremos de Sergio Ortega y Taller Recabarren. Francia/Alemania 1977.

This paper aims to reconstruct the musical career of Sergio Ortega in the exile, focusing in the analysis of one of his recording work, the LP “Venceremos”, recorded with the group “Taller Recabarren” in 1978. In that recording work, Ortega tried to link his artistic career with his explicit political militancy. Through the analysis of “Venceremos”, this paper try to be a contribution to topic of the Chilean exile in general, and in particular, to the musical scene developed outside Chile between 1973 and 1990, as an essential part of the reconstruction of the historical memoryEste trabajo intenta reconstruir parte de la trayectoria de Sergio Ortega en el exilio, centrándose en el análisis de uno de sus trabajos discográficos, el LP Venceremos, grabado junto al grupo Taller Recabarren en 1978. ACUTE RELEASE OF CATECHOLAMINES ON CIRCULATING BLOOD CELL ADRENOCEPTORS AND METABOLIC INDICES IN DOG

International audienceThe effects of acute release of endogenous catecholamines on both platelet alpha 2 and leukocyte beta adrenoreceptors and metabolic indices (glucose and free fatty acids) were investigated in dogs by means of a model of neurogenic hypertension following acute sinoaortic denervation (ASAD). Despite the marked increase in catecholamine levels (+4.2-fold for noradrenaline and 16.7-fold for adrenaline, for example, at minute 45 following ASAD) and in glucose plasma levels, and the significant decrease in free fatty acid plasma levels, no change in platelet alpha 2 or leukocyte beta adrenoreceptor binding sites (number as well as affinity) was observed during the whole experiment. It is suggested that the number of platelet alpha 2- and leukocyte beta-adrenoreceptors is not submitted to short-term regulation, at least by endogenous catecholamines in dogs
