Estudo das principais variáveis para tomada de decisão do corte, carregamento e transporte (cct) da cana-de-açúcar: caso de uma usina do oeste do estado de São Paulo

The Sucroenergético sector plays an important role in meeting the demand for clean and renewable energy. In Brazil, the sector represents 15.7% of the Energy Matrix, 39.9% of the Renewable Energy Matrix and 26.8% of the Matrix of Vehicle Fuels. The main objective of this work is to study the main variables for the decision-making of the Sugarcane Cut, Loading and Transport (CCT) of a sugar mill in the west part of the state of São Paulo, in order to identify which ones make up The conceptual decision model, as well as, to describe the CCT process, to identify the main decision variables of the CCT process and to demonstrate the decision roles in the CCT of the studied plant. As a methodology, a research of an applied nature was used, with a qualitative and exploratory approach in the case study modality. In order to collect the pertinent information to the case study, a semi-structured interview was used with the responsible of the Cut, Loading and Transport (CCT) sector of the Plant. It is concluded that, the plant under study, uses a large part of the decision variables mentioned in the theoretical reference, and some of these variables form the conceptual decision model of the Plant, which are, quantitative of the milling of the crop, sectorization of the fronts of harvesting, harvesting potential, loading capacity, transport potential, sizing and optimization of the turnaround system. All the variables found in the plant have a high participation of the High and Medium-sized Management and moderate participation of the Operational Team in these decisions.O setor Sucroenergético tem um papel importante no atendimento a demanda por energia limpa e renovável. O presente trabalho, tem como objetivo principal, estudar as principais variáveis para tomada de decisão do Corte, Carregamento e Transporte (CCT) da cana-de-açúcar de uma Usina do Oeste do Estado de São Paulo, com a finalidade de identificar quais compõem o modelo conceitual de decisão, bem como, descrever o processo de CCT, identificar as principais variáveis de decisão do processo de CCT e demonstrar os papéis de decisão no CCT da Usina pesquisada. Como metodologia, foi utilizada uma pesquisa de natureza aplicada, com abordagem qualitativa e objetivo exploratório na modalidade estudo de caso. Para coletar as informações pertinentes ao estudo de caso, foi utilizada uma entrevista semi-estruturada com o responsável pelo setor de Corte, Carregamento e Transporte (CCT) da Usina. Conclui-se que, a usina objeto de estudo, utiliza em grande parte das variáveis de decisão citadas no referencial teórico, e algumas dessas variáveis formam o modelo conceitual de decisão da Usina, que são, quantitativo da moagem da safra, setorização das frentes de colheita, potencial de colheita, capacidade de carregamento, potencial de transporte, dimensionamento e otimização do sistema bate-volta. Todas as variáveis encontradas na usina, contam com elevada participação da Alta e Média Gerências e participação moderada da Equipe Operacional nessas decisões

CADEIA PRODUTIVA DA OVINOCULTURA EM MATO GROSSO DO SUL: UMA ANÁLISE DE SEU SISTEMA DE COORDENAÇÃO AGROINDUSTRIAL

No intuito de aprofundar e enriquecer os conhecimentos sobre a Cadeia Produtiva da Ovinocultura no Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul, o paper tem como objetivo entender as relações entre os diversos elos desta cadeia, tendo em vista a visão do todo (ou visão sistêmica), bem como à importância de sua coordenação para os agentes envolvidos. Para tanto, procurou-se avaliar as perspectivas de mercado, avaliando as estratégias comerciais adotadas pelos produtores rurais e o seu relacionamento com os demais agentes do setor produtivo. Já num segundo plano, uma análise formal das relações contratuais do setor agroindustrial e seus relativos poderes de barganha junto a fornecedores e clientes. E por ultimo uma apreciação analítica dos consumidores finais (bares, restaurantes e população) no que corresponde seu grau de aceitação aos produtos advindos da ovinocultura. Pervasive gaps in Amazonian ecological research

Biodiversity loss is one of the main challenges of our time,1,2 and attempts to address it require a clear un derstanding of how ecological communities respond to environmental change across time and space.3,4 While the increasing availability of global databases on ecological communities has advanced our knowledge of biodiversity sensitivity to environmental changes,5–7 vast areas of the tropics remain understudied.8–11 In the American tropics, Amazonia stands out as the world’s most diverse rainforest and the primary source of Neotropical biodiversity,12 but it remains among the least known forests in America and is often underrepre sented in biodiversity databases.13–15 To worsen this situation, human-induced modifications16,17 may elim inate pieces of the Amazon’s biodiversity puzzle before we can use them to understand how ecological com munities are responding. To increase generalization and applicability of biodiversity knowledge,18,19 it is thus crucial to reduce biases in ecological research, particularly in regions projected to face the most pronounced environmental changes. We integrate ecological community metadata of 7,694 sampling sites for multiple or ganism groups in a machine learning model framework to map the research probability across the Brazilian Amazonia, while identifying the region’s vulnerability to environmental change. 15%–18% of the most ne glected areas in ecological research are expected to experience severe climate or land use changes by 2050.
