    En la actualidad se identifica una necesidad latente en la ciudad de Bogotá por un gran número de personas con restricciones médicas en el consumo de azúcar, lo cual ha minimizado la alegría de compartir un buen helado en familia o con amigos, gracias a la identificación de esta oportunidad en el mercado de no contar con un producto sin azúcar añadida se diseña el siguiente plan de negocio de Helados El ArteSano. Un helado con sabores deliciosos, natural, sin conservantes ni edulcorantes que no solo muestra empatía con el mercado objetivo, sino que también transmite seguridad, confianza, innovación en la experiencia de los usuarios y que busca llevar un mensaje claro de autocuidado y vida saludable. Por lo anterior, el objetivo general de la siguiente propuesta es desarrollar un plan de negocios para la creación de una empresa que oferte un helado sin azúcar añadida, apto para personas con prexistencia por diabetes. El plan de negocios fue desarrollado bajo el lineamiento por apartados como la naturaleza del proyecto, análisis del sector, desarrollo del estudio piloto de mercado, estrategias para la incursión del mercado, aspectos técnicos como también los aspectos organizacionales y administrativos, aspectos financieros y el enfoque de sostenibilidad de la empresa.At present, a latent need is identified in the city of Bogotá by a large number of people with medical restrictions in the consumption of sugar, which has minimized the joy of sharing a good ice cream with family or friends, thanks to the identification of This opportunity in the market of not having a product without added sugar, the following business plan for Helados El ArteSano is designed.     Robust estimation of bacterial cell count from optical density

    Optical density (OD) is widely used to estimate the density of cells in liquid culture, but cannot be compared between instruments without a standardized calibration protocol and is challenging to relate to actual cell count. We address this with an interlaboratory study comparing three simple, low-cost, and highly accessible OD calibration protocols across 244 laboratories, applied to eight strains of constitutive GFP-expressing E. coli. Based on our results, we recommend calibrating OD to estimated cell count using serial dilution of silica microspheres, which produces highly precise calibration (95.5% of residuals <1.2-fold), is easily assessed for quality control, also assesses instrument effective linear range, and can be combined with fluorescence calibration to obtain units of Molecules of Equivalent Fluorescein (MEFL) per cell, allowing direct comparison and data fusion with flow cytometry measurements: in our study, fluorescence per cell measurements showed only a 1.07-fold mean difference between plate reader and flow cytometry data

    Through this investigation, we sought to evaluate the financial performance in Colombian companies given the inclusion in the market for carbon credits through the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). To do it, the projects associated in Colombia with the implementation of the CDM were identified; then, the financial performance of the companies responsible for those projects was analyzed. Finally, the reduction of CO2 emissions from these projects was evaluated and the relationship between reducing emissions and determined operating income of businesses, seeking to compare this behavior with that posed by the Environmental Kuznets Curve. After analyzing the 10 companies that meet the inclusion criteria, the relationship between the income of the company and the reduction of CO2 emissions, has the form y = k1 x2 – k2 x + c.     Este evento de investigación organizado por la Escuela de Administración de la Universidad del Rosario surgió como una iniciativa para fomentar la investigación formativa en áreas administrativas. El evento, al que asistieron 165 participantes, contó con dos conferencias centrales, 30 ponencias presentadas en 8 simposios y 7 posters. La participación de distintas universidades permitió un intercambio académico muy importante y formativo para los ponentes y asistentes en general, promoviendo el interés por la investigación en el campo de la administración, el cual fue el interés central de este encuentro.     El desarrollo del prototipo para el sistema de detección de Mina Antipersona (MAP), inicia desde el semillero ADSSOF perteneciente al programa de Administración en Seguridad y Salud en el trabajo de la UNIMINUTO, se realiza a partir de un detector de metales que emite una señal audible, que el usuario puede interpretar como aviso de presencia de un objeto metálico, en este caso una MAP. La señal audible se interpreta como un dato, como ese dato no es perceptible a 5 metros de distancia, se implementa el transmisor de Frecuencia Modulada FM por la facilidad de modulación y la escogencia de frecuencia de transmisión de acuerdo con las normas y resolución del Ministerio de Comunicaciones; de manera que esta sea la plataforma base para enviar los datos obtenidos a una frecuencia establecida. La idea es que el ser humano no explore zonas peligrosas y buscar la forma de crear un sistema que permita eliminar ese riesgo, por otro lado, buscar la facilidad de uso de elementos ya disponibles en el mercado
