“The discontinuity in the continuity”. Michel Foucault and the archaeological period

Undoubtedly, the topic of discontinuity has got to an extent where it has captured the attention of a good number of researchers. These researchers devote themselves to reflect on the philosophy of the French thinker. Focusing on discontinuity promises to open a new line of analysis that, perhaps, will allow the revaluation of its scope in relation to its philosophical contributions. For such a task, first, we will approach the notion of history in Foucauldian thought to study the development this notion has with the discontinuity; followed by a study of the archaeological method to unravel whether it is possible to analyze discontinuity through an archaeological view. Would it be possible to look at the topic of discontinuity as a characteristic feature of this French philosopher's thinking? This document aims to answer this question

Trace Anomaly and Counterterms in Designer Gravity

We construct concrete counterterms of the Balasubramanian-Kraus type for Einstein-scalar theories with designer gravity boundary conditions in AdS$_{4}$, so that the total action is finite on-shell and satisfy a well defined variational principle for an arbitrary scalar field potential. We focus on scalar fields with the conformal mass, $m^{2}=-2l^{-2}$, and show that the holographic mass matches the Hamiltonian mass for any boundary conditions. We compute the trace anomaly of the dual field theory in the generic case, as well as when there exist logarithmic branches of non-linear origin. As expected, the anomaly vanishes for the boundary conditions that are AdS invariant. When the anomaly does not vanish, the dual stress tensor describes a thermal gas with an equation of state related to the boundary conditions of the scalar field. When the anomaly vanishes, we recover the dual theory of a massless thermal gas. As an application of the formalism, we consider a general family of exact hairy black hole solutions that, for some particular values of the parameters in the moduli potential, contains solutions of four-dimensional gauged $\mathcal{N}=8$ supergravity and its $\omega$-deformation. Abstract Both the subject of science and the notion of creativity in Nietzsche have not been studied with the attention they deserve. The subject of science, however, can be considered a thread of research that is attracting the attention of a large number of philosophers. The notion of creativity, for its part, occupies, among other notions, a little known place within the interests that revolve around the figure of the thinker of Röcken. Therefore, we intend to develop a study of the concept of science in Nietzsche focusing on an analysis of his criticism, to pose the gaze on the subject of Darwinism. Creativity will be studied in light of Nietzsche works and later in nexus with science. The relationship between these themes allows a novel approach to the study of science in Nietzsche and, therefore, to perceive its possible consequences

Eficacia en el desarrollo de capacidades TIC en estudiantes de educación secundaria de Lima, Perú

Se evaluó la eficacia de la implementación de las Aulas de Innovación Pedagógica en el desarrollo de capacidades en Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC), en los estudiantes de educación secundaria de Lima. La investigación fue cuasi experimental, con posprueba, con grupo de comparación. La población de estudio estuvo constituido por 1 141 estudiantes del 4to. y 5to. grado de educación secundaria de una red educativa de Lima. Se confirmó la hipótesis de que los estudiantes desarrollaron las capacidades TIC de adquisición de la información, trabajo en equipo y el desarrollo de estrategias de aprendizaje con TIC.This research assessed the implementation of the innovative pedagogical classrooms in the development of capacities in information and communication technologies (ICT) of high school students from Lima. This research was quasi experimental with a post-test with a comparison group. The population in the study was formed by 1 141 students from the last two years of the high school level. The study confirmed the hypothesis that students develop ICT capacities related to acquiring of information, team work, and development of learning strategies in ICT

Mejora de los ingresos económicos de los recicladores formales del distrito de Independencia en el periodo 2009-2013

In Peru there is an unmet demand with respect to the municipal solid waste collection service in urban areas, where most of the solid wastes not collected are burned, used as pig food, thrown into rivers, etc. These situations cause environmental and health problems. Improving the collection system and solid waste treatment is an alternative to the solid waste problem. Given the characteristics of Lima, formal recyclers are considered as strategic allies to improve the solid waste collection system. The formalization of recyclers has improved their income, considering that the informal recyclers have low incomes, which does not allow them to improve their quality of life in many aspects. According to the collected and analyzed information of the recyclers´ income when they were informal, their income increased when they become formal.En el Perú se tiene una demanda insatisfecha en el servicio de recolección de residuos sólidos municipales de las áreas urbanas, donde gran parte de los residuos que no son recolectados son quemados, empleados como alimento para cerdos, lanzados a ríos, etc., estás situaciones crean problemas ambientales y de salud. Como alternativas al problema de residuos sólidos, se tiene que mejorar el sistema de recojo y el tratamiento de los residuos sólidos. Teniendo en cuenta las características de Lima, se considera a los recicladores formales como aliados estratégicos para mejorar el sistema de recojo de los residuos sólidos. La formalización de los recicladores ha incidido en la mejora de los ingresos económicos de estos, considerando que los recicladores informales tienen ingresos económicos bajos, que no les permite mejorar en varios aspectos su calidad de vida. Según la información recogida y analizada de los ingresos de los recicladores cuando eran informales, se incrementó cuando pasaron a la formalidad

Revuelta anticolonial en Bolivia del siglo XXI: continuación de la "guerra interna" y derrota de los partidos neoliberales 2000-2003

Para explicar el actual “proceso de cambio” que hoy vive Bolivia, es necesario remontarnos a los orígenes del nacionalismo étnico contemporáneo (época post-52) y en este proceso de su ascenso político social, todo el movimiento indígena ha contribuido desde diversas posiciones ideológicas hacía un horizonte auto-determinativo a principios del siglo XXI, que se expresó en la denominada “guerra del agua” (2000) y finalmente la “guerra del gas” (2003). Mediante un levantamiento general indígena Rural-Urbano (al que se suman los mestizos de clase media).Una revuelta anticolonial e indianista y Cerco al Poder Colonial, que abarca este periodo, hasta la caída de unos los gobiernos neoliberales más sangrientos de los últimos tiempos. De esta forma se  inaugura una  nueva etapa signada por el encumbramiento en la Presidencia de la República de un líder de origen Aymara, sindicalista y socialista (2005). Si bien otros sectores afines a corrientes izquierdistas han contribuido ampliamente para el proceso de construcción del Estado Plurinacional el aporte Indianista- Katarista es innegable. Asimismo en este artículo enfatizamos en el “proceso de descolonización” y la construcción del un verdadero Estado Plurinacional Comunitario
