    Sevo Game to Improve the Students’ Vocabulary Mastery at the Fourth Grade of SD Negeri 1 Sukoharjo Bandung

    Vocabulary is a vital element in language learning.At the fourth grade of SD Negeri 1 Sukoharjo has serious problem in mastering vocabulary. It shows that the students do not pay attention to the teacher explanation. Thus, on the average 55 % of the students get score under the criteria of success (65 from 0 – 100 scale). To solve this problem, the researcher offers sevo game. The research approaches are quantitative and qualitative. The design of this research is classroom action research. The subjects are 18 students. The research procedures are preliminary study and research action implemented in the form of cycles. Research instruments consist of observation guide in learning process, test, questionnaire, and field notes. The results of them are the data sources of the research. The result of the study shows 8 students (44%) passed the test on the preliminary study, 11 students (61%) passed the test on the first cycle, and on the last cycle 17 students (94%) passed the test. Based on the comparison, it is concluded that sevo game can be used to improve the students’ vocabulary mastery. Based on the result found, the writer suggests to the teacher and the students to use sevo game in teaching learning vocabulary

    ABSTRAK Kosakata adalah elemen penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa.Di kelas empat SD Negeri 1 Sukoharjo memiliki masalah serius dalam kosakata menguasai. Ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa tidak memperhatikan penjelasan guru. Jadi, pada 55% rata-rata siswa mendapatkan skor di bawah kriteria keberhasilan (65 0-100 skala). Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, peneliti menawarkan permainan sevo. Pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Desain penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subyek adalah 18 siswa. Prosedur penelitian studi pendahuluan dan penelitian tindakan diimplementasikan dalam bentuk siklus. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari panduan observasi dalam proses belajar, tes, kuesioner, dan catatan lapangan. Hasil dari mereka adalah sumber data penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 8 siswa (44%) lulus uji pada studi awal, 11 siswa (61%) lulus tes pada siklus pertama, dan pada siklus terakhir 17 siswa (94%) lulus ujian. Berdasarkan perbandingan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sevo permainan dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata siswa. Berdasarkan hasil ditemukan, penulis menyarankan kepada guru dan siswa untuk menggunakan permainan dalam pengajaran kosa kata sevo belajar. Kata kunci: meningkatkan, penguasaan kosakata, sevo game. Di Jawa Timur kinerja kelompok ekonomi petani masih memprihatinkan.Terdapat beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja ekonomi pelani. salah satunya adalah kerjasama. Bentuk kerjasama dalam kelompok dapat berupa yaitu gabung (pool), urut (.lieqllential). timbal-balik (reciprocal} dan tim (team). Permasalahan yang akan dikaji lebih lanjut dapat dirumuskan berikut ini : bagaimana pengaruh bentuk-bentuk kerja sama saling ketergantungan tugas terhadap kinerja ekonomi kelompok petani?,bagaimana perbandingan pengaruh antara bentuk-bentuk kerja sarna saling ketergantungan tugas kelompok tim (team), kelompok timbal-balik (reciprocal),kelompok umt (sequential). dan kelompok gabung (pool) dalam meningkatkan kinerja ekonomi kelompok petani ?     Teacher burnout is a negative syndrome that could happen to teachers that will affect their performance, hence, lowers their students’ achievements. The goal of this paper was to confirm the direct effect of psychological capital and perceived organizational support towards teacher burnout, and the indirect effect of psychological capital and perceived organizational support towards teacher burnout with job satisfaction as a mediating variable.This research used quantitative approach with census as the sampling method. The data collection instrument used was a likert scale questionnaire in Bahasa Indonesia to measure every single variable in this research. Subjects of this research were 58 teachers of Sejahtera Vocational School in Surabaya. This research used path analysis to prove the direct and indirect effects of psycap and POS on teacher burnout with job satisfaction as the mediating variable. This paper showed that psychological capital and perceived organizational support directly affect teacher burnout significantly, and psychological capital and perceived organizational support indirectly affect teacher burnout through job satisfaction as a mediating variable significantly

    The Dynamics of Inner Peace of Delinkuen Students Through a Religious Approach

    This research aims to observe how the process of inner peace that owned by the students with behavior of misbehavior in school through religious approach. The method used is an intrinsic case study that aims to understand the intrinsic characteristics of a particular case as well. Participants in this research are five students in one of Junior High School in Jakarta. The researcher conduct interview in depth and provide mentoring through religious approach, namely mentoring and coaching to reading and studying the Qur'an (Juz 30) for these students who are guided by teachers who have the ability to teach reading the Qur'an, followed by related meanings contained in the letter of Qur'an that are read (worship, morals and values of life) and sharing. The result is that students do not have a sense of comfort in learning and performing actions that interfere with the learning atmosphere. Through religious approach (mentoring and guidance), this meeting was held, where each individual sharing from heart to heart, studentsing look more open in expressing personal issues and students with behavior Delinquent need attention and handling is different. Through this religious approach, the student feeling comfortable valued and heard what perceived. They are feeling closer to God and have the awareness to change for the better; the existence of the school's communication with parents intensively to figure out the conditions of the students at school; the availability of school facilities that can make students comfortable in learning and positive activity appropriate talent and their interest.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses kedamaian batin yang dimiliki oleh siswa dengan perilaku kenakalan di sekolah melalui pendekatan agama. Metode yang digunakan studi kasus yaitu studi kasus intrinsikyang tujuannya untuk memahami suatu karakteristik intrinsik kasus tertentu dengan baik. Partisipan penelitian ini 5 siswa di salah satu SMP di Jakarta. Peneliti melakukan wawancara secara mendalam dan memberikan pendampingan melalui pendekatan agama yaitu pendampingan dan pembinaan untuk membaca dan mempelajari al-Qur'an (Juz 30) kepada siswa yang dipandu oleh guru yang memiliki kemampuan untuk mengajarkan membaca al-Qur'an, disertai dengan makna terkait yang terkandung dalam surat al-Qur'an yang dibaca (ibadah, moral dan nilai-nilai kehidupan) dan sharing. Hasilnya adalah siswa tidak memiliki rasa nyaman dalam belajar dan melakukan tindakan yang mengganggu suasana belajar. Melalui pendekatan agama (pendampingan dan pembinaan) ini, dimana setiap pertemuan diadakan sharing individu dari hati-kehati, terlihat siswa lebih terbuka dalam mengungkapkan permasalahan pribadi dan siswa dengan perilaku delikuen membutuhkan perhatian dan penanganan yang berbeda. Melalui pendekatan agama ini, siswa merasa dihargai dan didengar apa yang dirasakan; Merasa lebih dekat dengan Tuhan dan memiliki kesadaran untuk berubah menjadi lebih baik; Adanya komunikasi sekolah dengan orang tua secara intensif untuk mengetahui kondisi siswa di sekolah; Tersedianya fasilitas sekolah yang dapat membuat siswa nyaman dalam belajar dan aktivitas positif sesuai bakat dan minatnya

    Abstrak Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) di Indonesia merupakan penyakit berbahaya dengan insiden yang meningkat dari tahun ke tahun dan secara sporadis selalu terjadi kejadian luar biasa (KLB) setiap tahun dan penyakit ini banyak menyerang anak-anak. Dalam penanganan kasus ini dilakukan penyuluhan kesehatan yang bertujuan untuk melakukan pencegahan  terutama pada anak usia sekolah dasar, sehingga diperlukan media yang menarik yaitu komik. Dengan adanya penyuluhan kesehatan dapat merubah perilaku (tingkat kognitif, afektif dan psikomotor) siswa terhadap pencegahan demam berdarah. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Quasi Eksperimen One Group Pre-test-Post-test, dengan jumlah sampel 66 siswa SDN Banjarejo Ngadiluwih Kediri. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner (tingkat kognitif dan Afektif) dan Lembar Obsevasi psikomotor dengan Uji Statistic Wilcoxon Match Pair Test menggunakan SPSS 16.0 for windows dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95 % (alpha = 0.05). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan nilai (P-value = .000) yang lebih kecil dari alpha 0.05.  Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh penguluhan kesehatan Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) dengan media komik terhadap perilaku pencegahan Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD). Saran bagi sekolah dengan adanya penyuluhan yang sudah diberikan maka lebih medorong serta menfasilitasi kegiatan siswa yang berhubungan dengan pencegahan, misal di adakan kerja bakti dan lomba membuat poster demam berdarah. Kata Kunci : Demam Berdarah Dengue, Komik, Perilaku   Abstract Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in Indonesia is one of the dangerous disease with an increased incidence from year to year and sporadic outbreaks always occurred (KLB) every year and the disease is mostly found in children. In handling these cases conducted health education that aims to take precautions, especially at primary school age children, thus requiring an interesting medium that is comics. With the health education to change behavior (level of cognitive, affective and psychomotor) students to the prevention of dengue fever. The design of this study using a Pre Experiment One Group Pre-test-Post-test, with a total sample of 66 students of SDN Banjarejo Ngadiluwih Kediri. Data were collected using questionnaires (Cognitive and Affective level) and psychomotor observation sheet with Wilcoxon Match Pairs Test Test Statistics using SPSS 16.0 for windows with 95% confidence level (alpha = 0.05). The results of this study demonstrate the value of (P-value = .000), which is smaller than alpha 0.05. can be concluded that there is influence health penguluhan Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) with comics media on behavior prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).     Organizational Communication and Job Insecurity with Work Centrality as a Moderator: A Study on the Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic to Tourism Industry

    The economic impact of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic has left many workers to be laid off. It psychologically caused those with jobs to feel insecure, which is known to affect individuals and organizations negatively. Drawing from Hobfoll’s Conservation of Resources (COR) theoretical framework, this study examined the correlation of organizational communication and job insecurity among workers during the COVID-19 pandemic with the moderating role of work centrality. Data were collected from 271 tourism workers in Bali through the purposive sampling technique. The result showed the negative correlation of organization communication towards job insecurity of tourism workers in Bali. The negative correlation between organizational communication and job insecurity became stronger for Balinese tourism workers with high work centrality than workers with lower work centrality. Accordingly, organizations should make a greater effort to communicate with workers about the organization’s stability during the COVID-19 pandemic to attenuate workers’ job insecurity
