Videojuegos activos, videojuegos convencionales y actividad física en adolescentes de secundaria

Resumen basado en el de la publicaciónSe analiza el tiempo dedicado por una muestra de 570 adolescentes de secundaria a los videojuegos activos, los videojuegos convencionales y la práctica de actividad física de intensidad moderada-vigorosa. Las pruebas t para muestras independientes realizadas indicaron que los chicos dedican más tiempo que las chicas a la práctica de actividad física y al uso de videojuegos convencionales y activos. Los análisis de correlación lineal simple efectuados señalaron que en las chicas estas conductas no presentan relación alguna, mientras que en el grupo de chicos, los que más juegan a videojuegos activos son aquellos que más juegan a videojuegos convencionales y más tiempo dedican a la actividad física. Estos datos añaden una información interesante a la línea de investigación que estudia las relaciones entre el uso de medios tecnológicos y los estilos de vida activo y sedentario.AndalucíaES

EFECTOS DE UN BOLO DE CRISTAL SOLUBLE CON SELENIO EN VARIABLES HEMÁTICAS, ACTIVIDAD DE GLUTATIÓN PEROXIDASA, CONCENTRACIÓN SÉRICA DE SELENIO Y CALIDAD SEMINAL DE MORUECOS SUFFOLK Y HAMPSHIRE

En México se han diagnosticado deficiencias de minerales traza en ovinos, pero no se han establecido estrategias para corregirlas y evaluar su respuesta. El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar, en moruecos (9 Hampshire PV 80.6 ± 7.6 kg y 9 Suffolk PV 86.3 ± 9.3 kg), el efecto de un bolo de cristal soluble con selenito de sodio, sobre el PV, circunferencia escrotal, condición corporal, variables hemáticas, actividad de glutatión peroxidasa, concentración de selenio y características del eyaculado. El diseño experimental fue completamente al azar con arreglo factorial 2x2x3 de tratamientos: 1) con y sin Se (bolo de cristal soluble), 2) razas (Hampshire y Suffolk) y, 3) meses de la época reproductiva (noviembre, diciembre y enero). Los datos se analizaron con el procedimiento MIXTO de SAS y la prueba de Tukey para comparar las medias (p ≤ 0.05). El estudio se realizó de julio del año 2005 a febrero de 2006. Las muestras de sangre se obtuvieron en las semanas uno (previo al tratamiento), dos y tres de julio de 2005, y después en la cuarta semana de cada mes (de agosto de 2005 a febrero de 2006). De noviembre de 2005 a enero de 2006, mediante vagina artificial, semanalmente se evaluó el eyaculado de los moruecos. Los moruecos pastaron, durante el día, praderas de Pennisetum clandestinum, con confinamiento nocturno. Diariamente (08:00 h) previo al pastoreo, recibieron un concentrado (1% PV). El Se aumentó (p ≤ 0.05) la actividad de GSH-Px, la movilidad y los espermatozoides vivos y normales. La calidad del eyaculado fue mayor (p ≤ 0.05) en volumen, densidad, concentración y viabilidad para la raza Suffolk. En conclusión, los bolos con Se aumentaron la actividad de GSH-Px, la movilidad y viabilidad del semen de moruecos Hampshire y Suffolk en la época reproductiva

Aplicación web de gestión financiera personal desarrollada con MEAN.JS

En este trabajo de fin de grado se llevará a cabo la elaboración de una aplicación web de gestión de gastos personales desde sus inicios, hasta su completo funcionamiento. Estas aplicaciones poseen un crecimiento emergente en el mercado, lo cual implica que la competencia entre ellas es muy elevada. Por ello el diseño de la aplicación que se va a desarrollar en este trabajo ha sido delicadamente cuidado. Se trata de un proceso minucioso el cual aportará a cada una de las partes de las que va a constar la aplicación características únicas que se plasmaran en funcionalidades para el usuario, como son: añadir sus propios gastos e ingresos mensuales, confeccionar gráficos de sus principales gastos, obtención de consejos de una fuente externa, etc… Estas funcionalidades de carácter único junto con otras más generalistas, como son el diseño gráfico en una amplia gama de colores, harán su manejo más fácil e intuitivo. Hay que destacar que para optimizar su uso, la aplicación tendrá la característica de ser responsive, es decir, será capaz de modificar su interfaz según el tamaño de la pantalla del dispositivo desde el que se acceda. Para su desarrollo, se va a utilizar una de las tecnologías más novedosas del mercado y siendo una de las más revolucionarias del momento, MEAN.JS. Con esta innovadora tecnología se creará la aplicación de gestión económica de gastos personales. Gracias al carácter innovador de aplicar esta tecnología novedosa, los retos que plantea este proyecto son muy variados, desde cómo estructurar las carpetas del proyecto y toda la parte de backend hasta como realizar el diseño de la parte de frontend. Además una vez finalizado su desarrollo y puesta en marcha se analizaran posibles mejoras para poder perfeccionarla en su totalidad. ABSTRACT In this final degree project will take out the development of a web application from its inception, until its full performance management. These applications have an emerging market growth, implying that competition between them is very high. Therefore the design of the application that will be developed in this work has been delicately care. It's a painstaking process which will provide each of the parties which will contain the application unique features that were translated into functionality for the user, such as: add their own expenses and monthly income, make graphs of your major expenses, obtaining advice from an external source, etc... These features of unique character together with other more general, such as graphic design in a wide range of colors, will make more easy and intuitive handling. It should be noted that to optimize its use, the application will have the characteristic of being responsive, will be able to modify your interface according to the size of the screen of the device from which are accessed. For its development, it is to use one of the newest technologies on the market and being one of the most revolutionary moment, MEAN. JS. The economic management of personal expenses application will be created with this innovative technology. Thanks to the innovative nature of applying this new technology, the challenges posed by this project are varied, from how to structure the folders of the project and all the backend part up to how to perform the part of frontend design. Managerial and learning skills in exporting SMEs

The relevance of the perception of exports in the field of business management can have a key impact on the exporting behavior of SMEs. In particular, it can determine the decision to implement an export policy, as well as the policies applied to consolidate exports. This paper covers two main aspects. First, the extent to which managerial perceptions of exports affect the decision to export, and second, for these SMEs which are already exporters, we study the managerial perceptions that can help to consolidate their commitment to exports. To this aim, some scales based on structural equations to measure the perception of the advantages and disadvantages of exporting are developed and validated. Both analyses are carried out considering whether the SMEs involved are family businesses or not, so that the results obtained can also explain the potential impact of this fact.Exports, managerial perceptions, structural equations

Differential in vitro and in vivo effect of barley cysteine and serine protease inhibitors on phytopathogenic microorganisms

Protease inhibitors from plants have been involved in defence mechanisms against pests and pathogens. Phytocystatins and trypsin/α-amylase inhibitors are two of the best characterized protease inhibitor families in plants. In barley, thirteen cystatins (HvCPI-1 to 13) and the BTI-CMe trypsin inhibitor have been previously studied. Their capacity to inhibit pest digestive proteases, and the negative in vivo effect caused by plants expressing these inhibitors on pests support the defence function of these proteins. Barley cystatins are also able to inhibit in vitro fungal growth. However, the antifungal effect of these inhibitors in vivo had not been previously tested. Moreover, their in vitro and in vivo effect on plant pathogenous bacteria is still unknown. In order to obtain new insights on this feature, in vitro assays were made against different bacterial and fungal pathogens of plants using the trypsin inhibitor BTI-CMe and the thirteen barley cystatins. Most barley cystatins and the BTI-CMe inhibitor were able to inhibit mycelial growth but no bacterial growth. Transgenic Arabidopsis plants independently expressing the BTI-CMe inhibitor and the cystatin HvCPI-6 were tested against the same bacterial and fungal pathogens. Neither the HvCPI-6 expressing transgenic plants nor the BTI-CMe ones were more resistant to plant pathogen fungi and bacteria than control Arabidopsis plants. La estatalidad como un santo grial del uso geopolítico y legitimador del derecho internacional: Consideraciones a partir de un caso real interpretado en el cine

The film Rose Island (2020), based on the true history of this micro-State, is the starting point for a double pedagogical and critical exercise. We first study aspects related to the teaching of institutions and the basic pillars of international law, mostly - though not exclusively - regarding issues connected to subjectivity. Then, we look at how the analysis of the film also reveals historically and politically-charged realities and tensions that are inherent and even constitutive of international law. The “state-centrism” of international law is evident in the period in which the narrative takes place, and we can see that, even today, much of what concerns international institutions and their formation depends on the will of the subjects identified with the socially constructed collective entities we call States. In both analyses, we can see how statehood continues to be a very attractive figure, insofar as it constitutes the basis for privileges of action.La película La increíble historia de la Isla de las Rosas (2020), basada en la historia real de aquel micro-Estado, es el puntapié para un doble ejercicio pedagógico y crítico. En una primera sección se estudian aspectos acerca de lo relativo al aprendizaje de instituciones y pilares básicos del derecho internacional, principalmente en cuanto a la subjetividad, aunque no solo ella. En la segunda, observamos cómo el análisis del filme también permite poner de manifiesto realidades y tensiones con una carga histórico-política que son inherentes al derecho internacional de forma central e incluso constitutivas del mismo. El “estatocentrismo” del derecho internacional queda patente en la época en que transcurre la narración, y vemos que, aún hoy día, buena parte de lo concerniente a las instituciones internacionales y su formación depende del filtro de los sujetos identificados con los entes colectivos construidos socialmente que llamamos Estados.
