The so-called affaire Dreyfus was an historical event that made French society shudder at the end of 19th century and, consequently, it was an event that had widespread social and political repercussions in France owing to the fact that the press and contemporary mass media covered detailed information about such an affair. Actually, the mentioned Dreyfus affaire became a shared topic discussed by trade unions as well as by a number of intelectuals -such as Èmile Zola, for instance, with his well known press article J’accuse). Our aim in this paper is to discuss the linguistic and terminological maze faced by legal text translators, and with that aim in mind we have chosen the 3rd June 1899 and 12th July 1906 sentences which were delivered by the French la Cour de cassation about this affair. Key words: Dreyfus case; the legal text translation; legal terminology; arrêt; Cour de cassation

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with and without Mental Regression Is Associated with Changes in the Fecal Microbiota
New microbiome sequencing technologies provide novel information about the potential
interactions among intestinal microorganisms and the host in some neuropathologies as autism
spectrum disorders (ASD). The microbiota–gut–brain axis is an emerging aspect in the generation
of autistic behaviors; evidence from animal models suggests that intestinal microbial shifts may
produce changes fitting the clinical picture of autism. The aim of the present study was to evaluate
the fecal metagenomic profiles in children with ASD and compare them with healthy participants.
This comparison allows us to ascertain how mental regression (an important variable in ASD) could
influence the intestinal microbiota profile. For this reason, a subclassification in children with ASD by
mental regression (AMR) and no mental regression (ANMR) phenotype was performed. The present
report was a descriptive observational study. Forty-eight children aged 2–6 years with ASD were
included: 30 with ANMR and 18 with AMR. In addition, a control group of 57 normally developing
children was selected andmatched to the ASD group by sex and age. Fecal samples were analyzed with
a metagenomic approach using a next-generation sequencing platform. Several differences between
children with ASD, compared with the healthy group, were detected. Namely, Actinobacteria and
Proteobacteria at phylum level, as well as, Actinobacteria, Bacilli, Erysipelotrichi, and Gammaproteobacteria at class level were found at higher proportions in children with ASD. Additionally, Proteobacteria
levels showed to be augmented exclusively in AMR children. Preliminary results, using a principal
component analysis, showed differential patterns in children with ASD, ANMR and AMR, compared
to healthy group, both for intestinal microbiota and food patterns. In this study, we report, higher
levels of Actinobacteria, Proteobacteria and Bacilli, aside from Erysipelotrichi, and Gammaproteobacteria in
children with ASD compared to healthy group. Furthermore, AMR children exhibited higher levels
of Proteobacteria. Further analysis using these preliminary results and mixing metagenomic and other
“omic” technologies are needed in larger cohorts of children with ASD to confirm these intestinal
microbiota changes. This study was supported by the FUNDACIÓ AGRUPACIÓ Àmbit de la Infància, 404 Research

DataSheet_1_CD8+ NKs as a potential biomarker of complete response and survival with lenalidomide plus R-GDP in the R2-GDP-GOTEL trial in recurrent/refractory diffuse large B cell lymphoma.pdf
[Background] Diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is the most common non-Hodgkin lymphoma worldwide. DLBCL is an aggressive disease that can be cured with upfront standard chemoimmunotherapy schedules. However, in approximately 35-40% of the patients DLBCL relapses, and therefore, especially in this setting, the search for new prognostic and predictive biomarkers is an urgent need. Natural killer (NK) are effector cells characterized by playing an important role in antitumor immunity due to their cytotoxic capacity and a subset of circulating NK that express CD8 have a higher cytotoxic function. In this substudy of the R2-GDP-GOTEL trial, we have evaluated blood CD8+ NK cells as a predictor of treatment response and survival in relapsed/refractory (R/R) DLBCL patients.[Methods] 78 patients received the R2-GDP schedule in the phase II trial. Blood samples were analyzed by flow cytometry. Statistical analyses were carried out in order to identify the prognostic potential of CD8+ NKs at baseline in R/R DLBCL patients.[Results] Our results showed that the number of circulating CD8+ NKs in R/R DLBCL patients were lower than in healthy donors, and it did not change during and after treatment. Nevertheless, the level of blood CD8+ NKs at baseline was associated with complete responses in patients with R/R DLBCL. In addition, we also demonstrated that CD8+ NKs levels have potential prognostic value in terms of overall survival in R/R DLBCL patients.[Conclusion] CD8+ NKs represent a new biomarker with prediction and prognosis potential to be considered in the clinical management of patients with R/R DLBCL.[Clinical trial registration] https://www.clinicaltrialsregister.eu/ctr-search/search?query=2014-001620-29 EudraCT, ID:2014-001620-29.Peer reviewe

SELNET clinical practice guidelines for bone sarcoma
Bone sarcoma are infrequent diseases, representing < 0.2% of all adult neoplasms. A multidisciplinary management within reference centers for sarcoma, with discussion of the diagnostic and therapeutic strategies within an expert multidisciplinary tumour board, is essential for these patients, given its heterogeneity and low frequency. This approach leads to an improvement in patient's outcome, as demonstrated in several studies. The Sarcoma European Latin-American Network (SELNET), aims to improve clinical outcome in sarcoma care, with a special focus in Latin-American countries. These Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) have been developed and agreed by a multidisciplinary expert group (including medical and radiation oncologist, surgical oncologist, orthopaedic surgeons, radiologist, pathologist, molecular biologist and representatives of patients advocacy groups) of the SELNET consortium, and are conceived to provide the standard approach to diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of bone sarcoma patients in the Latin-American context
Clonal chromosomal mosaicism and loss of chromosome Y in elderly men increase vulnerability for SARS-CoV-2
The pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2, COVID-19) had an estimated overall case fatality ratio of 1.38% (pre-vaccination), being 53% higher in males and increasing exponentially with age. Among 9578 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19 in the SCOURGE study, we found 133 cases (1.42%) with detectable clonal mosaicism for chromosome alterations (mCA) and 226 males (5.08%) with acquired loss of chromosome Y (LOY). Individuals with clonal mosaic events (mCA and/or LOY) showed a 54% increase in the risk of COVID-19 lethality. LOY is associated with transcriptomic biomarkers of immune dysfunction, pro-coagulation activity and cardiovascular risk. Interferon-induced genes involved in the initial immune response to SARS-CoV-2 are also down-regulated in LOY. Thus, mCA and LOY underlie at least part of the sex-biased severity and mortality of COVID-19 in aging patients. Given its potential therapeutic and prognostic relevance, evaluation of clonal mosaicism should be implemented as biomarker of COVID-19 severity in elderly people. Among 9578 individuals diagnosed with COVID-19 in the SCOURGE study, individuals with clonal mosaic events (clonal mosaicism for chromosome alterations and/or loss of chromosome Y) showed an increased risk of COVID-19 lethality
