    Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaturan hukum tentang Pembatalan Perkawinan karena hubungan darah menurut Hukum Positif Di Indonesia dan bagaimana kedudukan hukum anak yang lahir setelah pembatalan perkawinan menurut Hukum Positif di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian yuridis normatif, maka dapat disimpulkan: 1. Pengaturan hukum mengenai pembatalan perkawinan di Indonesia masih beragam walaupun Undang-Undang perkawinan yaitu Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 seringkali disebut unifikasi hukum perkawinan. Pembatalan perkawinan merupakan putusnya perkawinan disebabkan persyaratan perkawinan yang diatur dalam undang-undang dan larangan perkawinan tidak dipenuhi. 2. Status hukum anak yang lahir dalam perkawinan yang telah batal pada dasarnya merupakan anak yang sah sebagaimana diatur dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 dalam Pasal 28. Berdasarkan Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi Nomor 46/PUU-VIII/2010 Tentang Pengujian pasal 2 ayat 2 dan pasal 43 ayat 1 Undang-Undang Perkawinan yaitu Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 yang menyatakan bahwa pasal 43 ayat Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 melanggar Undang-Undang Dasar Republik Indonesia pasal 28 B ayat 1 dan 2 dan pasal 28 D ayat 1

    Identification of novel ‘inks’ for 3D printing using high throughput screening: bioresorbable photocurable polymers for controlled drug delivery

    A robust discovery methodology is presented to identify novel biomaterials suitable for 3D printing. Currently the application of Additive Manufacturing is limited by the availability of functional inks, especially in the area of biomaterials-this method tackles this problem for the first time allowing hundreds of formulations to be readily assessed. Several functional properties, including the release of an antidepressive drug (paroxetine), cytotoxicity and printability are screened for 253 new ink formulations in a high-throughput format as well as mechanical properties. The selected candidates with the desirable properties are successfully scaled up using 3D printing into a range of objects architectures. A full drug release study, degradability and tensile modulus experiments are presented on a simple architecture to validating the suitability of this methodology to identify printable inks for 3D printing devices with bespoke properties

    Coronary artery calcium findings in asymptomatic subjects with family history of premature coronary artery disease

    Background: To evaluate the frequency of positive coronary arteries calcium (CAC) scores in a unique population of asymptomatic first degree relatives (FDRs) of patients with angiographically confirmed early onset of coronary artery disease (CAD) and to assess their association with carotid ultrasound findings and other cardiovascular risk factors. Method and results We scanned, using 64-slice multi-detector computed tomography, 57 asymptomatic FDRs (47 ± 9 years old; 44% male, 56% female), out of the 111 FDRs previously phenotyped for cardiovascular (CV) risk factors. The controls were 616 individuals (57 ± 10 years old; 76% male, 24% female) with no family history of cardiovascular disease, chest pain or diabetes selected out of the 3500 subjects scanned between 2002 and 2007. FDRs had higher risk of abnormal CAC scores compared to controls; odds ratio (OR) for the 75th percentile was 1.96 (95% CI 1.04 – 3.67, p < 0.05). Conclusion The frequency of abnormal CAC scores is two-fold higher in asymptomatic FDRs than in controls. CAC scan provides additional information on CV risk assessment in asymptomatic FDRs, particularly for those in the intermediate risk category.     What's Queer about Political Science?

    There is something queer (by which we mean strange) going on in the scholarly practice of political science. Why are political science scholars continuing to disregard issues of gender and sexuality – and in particular queer theory – in their lecture theatres, seminar rooms, textbooks, and journal articles? Such everyday issues around common human experience are considered by other social scientists to be central to the practice and theory of social relations. In this article we discuss how these commonplace issues are being written out of (or, more accurately, have never been written in to) contemporary political science. First, we present and discuss our findings on citation practice in order to evidence the queerness of what does and does not get cited in political science scholarship. We then go on to critique this practice before suggesting a broader agenda for the analysis of the political based on a queer theoretical approach

    Biopsy-proven recurrent, acute, familial hypersensitivity pneumonitis: A case report and literature review

    Hypersensitivity pneumonitis (HP) is characterized by inflammation of the lung parenchyma that is induced by exposure to an inhaled organic antigen. We present a case of recurrent, acute HP caused by repeated transient exposure to a down sleeping bag in a patient with a family history of chronic bird-associated hypersensitivity pneumonitis. The patient's recurrent symptoms, changes in physiology, and radiographic findings coincided with repeated exposure to this source. It was later confirmed that the patient's sister had also developed chronic HP from recurrent exposure to household birds. This case highlights recent studies implicating gene-exposure interactions in the development of HP.     Quantitative computed tomography and visual emphysema scores: association with lung function decline

    Background Computed tomography (CT) visual emphysema score is a better predictor of mortality than single quantitative CT emphysema measurements in COPD, but there are numerous CT measurements that reflect COPD-related disease features. The purpose of this study was to determine if linear combinations of quantitative CT measurements by principal component analysis (PCA) have a greater association with forced expiratory volume in 1 s (FEV1) lower limit of normal (LLN) annualised change (ΔFEV1) than visual emphysema score in COPD. Methods In this retrospective, longitudinal study, demographic, spirometry and CT images were acquired. CT visual emphysema score and quantitative analysis were performed; low attenuation area <950 HU (LAA950) and 12 other quantitative CT measurements were investigated. PCA was used for CT feature extraction. Multiple linear regression models for baseline FEV1 LLN and 6-year ΔFEV1 were used to determine associations with visual emphysema score and CT measurements. A total of 725 participants were analysed (n=299 never-smokers, n=242 at-risk and n=184 COPD). Results Quantitative CT measures (LAA950 and PCA components) were independently statistically significant (p<0.05) in predicting baseline FEV1 LLN, whereas visual emphysema score was not statistically significant in any baseline model. When predicting 6-year ΔFEV1, only visual emphysema score was significant (p<0.05) in models with LAA950 and PCA combination of emphysema measurements. In the model with PCA using all CT measurements predicting 6-year ΔFEV1, visual emphysema score (p=0.021) along with one PCA component (p=0.004) were statistically significant. Conclusions PCA with a combination of CT measurements reflecting several different COPD-related disease features independently predicted baseline lung function and increased the relative importance of quantitative CT compared with visual emphysema score for predicting lung function decline

    Does Systemic Sclerosis-associated Interstitial Lung Disease Burn Out? Specific Phenotypes of Disease Progression.

    RATIONALE Previous studies have suggested that interstitial lung disease (ILD) progresses most rapidly early in the course of systemic sclerosis-associated (SSc)-ILD, and that SSc-ILD is often more stable or even "burned out" after the first 4 years following diagnosis. OBJECTIVES Our objectives were to determine whether an apparent plateau in pulmonary function decline is due to survival bias and to identify distinct prognostic phenotypes of ILD progression. METHODS Consecutive patients with SSc-ILD from a single center were included. Pulmonary function measurements were typically performed every 6 months. Study participants were categorized into long-term survivors (>8 yr survival from diagnosis), and those with medium-term and short-term mortality (4-8 and <4 yr survival, respectively). We excluded those censored with less than 8 years of follow-up. Subject-specific slopes for change in forced vital capacity (FVC) and diffusing capacity of the lung for carbon monoxide (Dl) were calculated using generalized linear models with mixed effects. The rate of decline in FVC was compared across prognostic groups. RESULTS The cohort included 171 study participants with SSc-ILD. A plateau in the progression of FVC was apparent in the full cohort analysis but disappeared with stratification into prognostic subgroups to account for survival bias. Those with short-term mortality had a higher annual rate of decline in FVC (-4.10 [95% confidence interval (CI), -7.92 to -0.28] vs. -2.14 [95% CI, -3.31 to -0.97] and -0.94 [-1.46 to -0.42]; P = 0.003) and Dl (-5.28 [95% CI, -9.58 to -0.99] vs. -3.13 [95% CI, -4.35 to -1.92] and -1.32 [95% CI, -2.01 to -0.63]; P < 0.001) than those with medium-term mortality and long-term survival with adjustment for age, sex, and pack-years. Change in FVC in the previous year did not predict FVC change in the subsequent year. CONCLUSIONS Adults with SSc-ILD have distinct patterns of physiological progression that remain relatively consistent during long-term follow-up; however, recent change in FVC cannot be used to predict future change in FVC within shorter follow-up intervals. The findings of this study provide important information on the course of disease in SSc-ILD and identify specific phenotypes of progression that may improve clinical decision-making and design of future therapeutic trials
