De l'avènement de l'imam Yahyâ en 1904 à la fin de la guerre civile au Nord et la naissance de la RPDSY en 1969-1970, le Yémen n'a pas échappé aux secousses du XXe siècle : guerres mondiales, colonisation et décolonisation, nationalisme et revendications sociales. Le tableau chronologique qui enregistre une partie des événements entre ces deux dates pour le Yémen du Nord et du Sud, est avant tout conçu comme un outil de travail appelé à s'enrichir et à servir de support à la lecture des dynamiques politiques, particulièrement pour la décennie charnière 1960-1970.<br>Chronology of Contemporary Yemen (1900-1970)From the rise of Imam Yahyâ to the end of the civil war in the North and the birth of the PDRY in 1969-1970, Yemen did not escape the tribulations of the 20th century : World Wars, colonization and then decolonization, nationalism and social demands.
