This work aims at describing the experience of the 1st grade class in the Nursing Course at the Faculty of Medicine of Marília (FAMEMA) in 2002. In 1998, a new Political-Pedagogical Project (PPP) was started aiming at educating a critical and reflexive professional, capable of teamwork, by promoting nursing care in a humane way. An integrated curriculum and the problematisation methodology were adopted as strategies to implement the PPP, tailoring education to the job market. Among the competencies to be developed toward basic health care, they employed a strategy to integrate 1st and 2nd grade classes in a microarea by applying the MAPP technique.O presente trabalho pretende relatar a experiência desenvolvida durante o ano de 2002, na 1ª série do Curso de Enfermagem da Faculdade de Medicina de Marília (FAMEMA). Biodiversity loss is one of the main challenges of our time,1,2 and attempts to address it require a clear un derstanding of how ecological communities respond to environmental change across time and space.3,4 While the increasing availability of global databases on ecological communities has advanced our knowledge of biodiversity sensitivity to environmental changes,5–7 vast areas of the tropics remain understudied.8–11 In the American tropics, Amazonia stands out as the world’s most diverse rainforest and the primary source of Neotropical biodiversity,12 but it remains among the least known forests in America and is often underrepre sented in biodiversity databases.13–15 To worsen this situation, human-induced modifications16,17 may elim inate pieces of the Amazon’s biodiversity puzzle before we can use them to understand how ecological com munities are responding. To increase generalization and applicability of biodiversity knowledge,18,19 it is thus crucial to reduce biases in ecological research, particularly in regions projected to face the most pronounced environmental changes. We integrate ecological community metadata of 7,694 sampling sites for multiple or ganism groups in a machine learning model framework to map the research probability across the Brazilian Amazonia, while identifying the region’s vulnerability to environmental change. 15%–18% of the most ne glected areas in ecological research are expected to experience severe climate or land use changes by 2050. This means that unless we take immediate action, we will not be able to establish their current status, much less monitor how it is changing and what is being lostinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio

Optou-se, por fim, pela ética aristotélica como modelo pertinente para se traçarem estratégias na educação, com vistas à formação integral de médicos e de enfermeiros, orientando-os na interface entre os âmbitos individual e coletivo do desenvolvimento moralFrom the interest in promoting human development concerned to professional formation of doctors and the registered nurses, it was elaborated a theoretical study, the main purpose of which is to rethink the way of teaching Ethics, a science that seeks the Good in human rational action. In a historical perspective, it was revived the advances in the realms of knowledge and the training of those professionals, emphasizing the intrinsic relationship to Ethics. It was particularly based on Aristotle’s Nicomachean Ethics, in which there are seccurate means to reflect on human action. From this reflexive reading, it was gathered that it is possible to develop in man such a disposition brought forth by habit as a constituent of choice determined by the lógos, involved in the area of contingencies and according to Ethics’ point of view. Moreover, It was observed that the orientation of conduct regarding human education must start both from childhood and with great concern and effort while young persons, mainly during their professional formation. At last, it is concluded that the Aristotelian ethics is a relevant paradigm to draw strategies on education, particularly to an integral formation of doctors and nurses, in order to orientate them towards the interface between individual and collective fields of moral developmen

In this article, we try to contextualize its inception by justifying the need to create such a neologism, since ethics was somewhat forgotten, in relation to the technique, being restricted to professional ethics. We are nowadays faced with a wide scope of works in this area that help guide our action as citizens who want quality of life and to preserve life on the planet. Bioethics, however, is concerned about the way of being: thought-judgment-action, in relation to human beings among them and towards nature
