Para a empresa, o evento apresentado conseguiu inverter a percepção do público interno de insatisfação com eventos anteriores, por seu caráter maçante para um novo cenário de engajamento com a empresa, maior índice de satisfação dos últimos anos e envolvimento com o conteúdo apresentado de forma direcionada, objetiva, interativa, com a utilização da palestra motivacional oportuna e elaboração de Business Game aplicado aos produtos e serviços da mesma

Haitianos no ensino superior brasileiro e suas narrativas sobre as relações raciais brasileiras

This article discusses the narratives about the Brazilian racial relations of Haitian students, having as explanatory spectrum their trajectories. Based on the ethnographic research carried out between 2017 and 2018, in which seven Haitian students were observed at the Federal University of Santa Maria aiming to interweave their perspectives on Brazilian race relations with their trajectories. The guiding question of the research is: what are the interpretations of Haitian students about race relations in Brazil and how do they elaborate on these interpretations. It was noticed that there are two explanatory elements of its interpretations: the social memory on the Haitian independence and the experience of the diaspora before the arrival to Brazil.   Keywords: Haitian students, Haitian Immigration, racial relations in Brazil.O presente artigo discute as narrativas sobre as relações raciais brasileiras de estudantes haitianos, tendo como espectro explicativo suas trajetórias. Com base na pesquisa etnográfica realizada entre os anos de 2017 e 2018, a qual definiu como universo de pesquisa os alunos haitianos ingressantes deste período, foram entrevistados sete estudantes na Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, com o objetivo de entrelaçar suas perspectivas sobre as relações raciais brasileiras com suas trajetórias. A pergunta norteadora da pesquisa é: quais são as interpretações dos estudantes haitianos sobre as relações raciais no Brasil e como eles elaboram essas interpretações? Os interlocutores desta pesquisa apresentam interpretações que minimizam as experiências de racismo no Brasil quando comparadas à experiência da diáspora anterior à chegada ao Brasil. Justificam essa postura pela sua história de resistência haitiana, bem como pelas suas perspectivas de vida na obtenção do diploma de ensino superior

EPIDEMIOLOGICAL INVESTIGATION OF SCHISTOSOMIASIS MANSONI IN MUNICIPALITIES IN THE MARANHÃO STATE, BRAZIL

Schistosomiasis is a serious parasitic infectious disease, one of the most important waterborne diseases, which is closely related to poverty, lack of health education and basic sanitation. It is a public health problem in Brazil, presenting endemic in some municipalities in the Maranhão State. In this way, this study aimed to evaluate the research profile of schistosomiasis mansoni in some endemic municipalities in the Maranhão State. A descriptive, retrospective and quantitative study was carried out with data obtained in “Programa de Controle da Esquistossomose (PCE) – MA” (Program for Schistosomiasis Control) between 2005 and 2015. We evaluated 42, 40 and 25 municipalities in the years 2005, 2010 and 2015, respectively. In 2005 the population evaluated was 184787, in 2010 162220 and in 2015 they were only 48484. The highest number of people evaluated in the year 2015 was in São Luís (8068) and the lowest was in Tutoia (83). The municipalities of Bacurituba, Guimarães, Guimaraes, Mirinzal, Paulino Neves and São João Batista presented a survey coverage of schistosomiasis major in the year 2015, compared to 2005 and 2010. Schistosomiasis remains a public health problem in the Maranhão State, however, its scope of research is still low, taking into account the number of endemic municipalities, sites susceptible to infection and the number of people examined.Key words: Schistosomiasis; Schistosoma mansoni; Maranhão

Effects of listening comprehension, word recognition, and oral reading fluency on reading comprehension in second-grade students

Several studies have provided evidence regarding the importance of listening comprehension, word recognition and oral reading fluency in successful reading comprehension; however, most of the research has been conducted with English language speakers. This study aims to examine the direct effects of these three variables on reading comprehension using a sample of European Portuguese speakers. A sample of 325 second- grade Portuguese students completed the Test of Word Reading, the Reading Fluency Assessment Test, the Test of Listening Comprehension of Narrative Texts and the Test of Reading Comprehension of Narrative Texts. Path analysis showed that listening comprehension, word recognition and oral reading fluency were all significant predictors with unique effects on reading comprehension at this grade level. The combination of all three predictors explained 41% of the variance observed in reading comprehension. Yeasts are versatile microorganisms which show heterogeneity in their abilities of aromatic molecules formation. The metabolic conversions may improve the production of a particular compound already formed by the microorganism or promote the production of a completely new biochemicals. These conversions depend on the environment. The microbiome of terroir is unique. If the term terroir is a set of physical properties of a vineyard that contribute to the specific characteristics of its wine, the microorganisms will undoubtedly form an integral part of this concept. There are yeasts, filamentous fungi and bacteria that can affect the quality of the wine. The aim of the present study was to identify the autochthonous yeast populations of grape berries collected from regions with Geographic Indications or under construction. The identification was carried out by an approach, combining Maldi-Tof-MS, PCR-RFLP of the internal transcribed spacer with 5.8S ribosomal DNA (rDNA) (ITS1-5.8S-ITS2) and sequences of the D1/D2 domain of the 26S rRNA gene. Some species are common to different GIs and in some of them other species are completely absent, besides some places are contiguous areas. A enfermagem no processo de acreditação hospitalar: atuação e implicações no cotidiano de trabalho

The aim of this study was to investigate the role and influence of nursing in the hospital accreditation process. It is a qualitative study, conducted in a private hospital of Belo Horizonte. The study subjects were nine nurses and 15 nursing technicians. Data collection was through semi-structured interviews, which were subjected to content analysis. The results showed that the role of the nursing team in the accreditation involves care, administrative, educational and research issues. The study subjects presented different perceptions regarding the influence of the accreditation process in their work. The positive aspects of personal growth and valorization of the curriculum were highlighted as well as negative aspects such as stress and little professional valorization. Therefore, it is necessary that the professionals understand the logic of the process and act with a view to the interdisciplinarity and overcoming the fragmentation of care, thus achieving integral healthcare and the quality of care desired.Este estudio investigó el papel y la influencia de la enfermería en el proceso de acreditación de hospitales. Se trata de un estudio cualitativo realizado en un hospital en Belo Horizonte. Los sujetos del estudio fueron 09 enfermeras y 15 técnicos de enfermería. Los datos fueron recolectados a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas, las que fueron sometidas a análisis de contenido. Los resultados mostraron que la actuación de la enfermería en el proceso de acreditación implica cuestiones relacionadas con la atención, administración, educación e investigación. Los profesionales tenían percepciones diferentes acerca de la influencia del proceso de acreditación en su trabajo. Se destacaron aspectos positivos como el crecimiento personal y el desarrollo del currículo; los negativos fueron estrés y poco desarrollo profesional. Por lo anterior es necesario que los profesionales entiendan la lógica del proceso y actúen con una finalidad interdisciplinaria superando la fragmentación en el cuidado, logrando así la atención integral y la calidad de la atención.Os objetivos neste estudo foram conhecer a atuação e as influências da enfermagem no processo de acreditação hospitalar. Trata-se de pesquisa qualitativa, realizada em um hospital privado de Belo Horizonte, MG. Esta pesquisa ficou composta por nove enfermeiros e quinze técnicos de enfermagem. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas com roteiro semiestruturado, submetidas à análise de conteúdo. Os resultados mostraram que a atuação da enfermagem na acreditação envolve questões assistenciais, administrativas, educativas e de pesquisa. Os sujeitos da pesquisa apresentaram percepções diversas sobre a influência do processo de acreditação no seu trabalho. Foram destacados aspectos positivos como crescimento pessoal e valorização do currículo e aspectos negativos como estresse e pouca valorização profissional. Assim, é necessário que os profissionais entendam a lógica do processo, atuem com vistas à interdisciplinaridade e superação da fragmentação da assistência, alcançando assim o cuidado integral e a qualidade assistencial desejada
