Contravenções disciplinares na Escola Naval: a Marinha do Brasil pela ótica da criminologia

Nesta dissertação são apresentadas, primeiro, as normas que regem as Forças Armadas do Brasil, em especial a Marinha, que teve militares estudados na pesquisa. A Constituição da República, a lei penal militar, a lei das contravenções disciplinares, o funcionamento calcado em disciplina e hierarquia, os postos e graduações são explicados de maneira sucinta e coesa para contextualização do trabalho. Em seguida, apresentam-se as teorias que orientaram a pesquisa, permeadas por considerações acerca da sua adequação e contribuição para o estudo. Finalmente são expostas e discutidas as entrevistas realizadas com os vinte militares que já foram punidos por contravenções disciplinares em uma das mais proeminentes organizações da Marinha, a Escola Naval, e que permanecem servindo naquele quartel. Os inquiridos discorreram sobre as infrações pelas quais foram condenados e as penalidades que cumpriram, sua visão acerca do ocorrido e de seus superiores; o conflito percebido entre oficiais e praças; seu histórico familiar e social, sua opinião quanto ao papel e à posição ocupada pelas mulheres naquela Força Armada, entre outras questões atuais e relevantes do ponto de vista criminológico. Trata-se de uma oportunidade ímpar de conhecer e estudar mais a fundo a realidade infracional-disciplinar de um grande quartel militar, visando a entender e, possivelmente, combater futuras ocorrências similares.This study first presents the rules governing the Armed Forces of Brazil, especially the Navy, which had military personnel heard in the research. The country’s Constitution, its military criminal law, the law of disciplinary misdemeanors, the discipline and hierarchy in which the Armed Forces are based on, the positions and graduations are all explained in a succinct and cohesive way to contextualize the investigation. Then the theories that guided the research are presented, permeated by considerations about their adequacy and contribution to the study. Finally, interviews with the twenty military personnel who have been punished for disciplinary misdemeanors in one of the most prominent naval organizations, the Naval School, and who remain serving in that barracks are exposed and discussed. Respondents talked about the offenses for which they have been convicted and their penalties; their view of the incident and of their superiors; the perceived conflict between officers and their subordinates; their families and social backgrounds, their opinions about the role and position of women in the military, and other current and criminologically relevant issues. This was a unique opportunity to acknowledge and study more deeply the infraction-disciplinary reality of a large military barrack, in order to understand and possibly combat similar future occurrences

NiP/SiC composite coatings: the effects of particles on the electrochemical behaviour

NiP/SiC (17 at.% P) composite coatings were prepared by electrodeposition from a Brenner type plating bath containing SiC particles. Cyclic voltammetry and immersion time were used to evaluate the electrochemical behaviour of these coatings. The results showed that the presence of SiC particles in NiP alloy increased corrosion properties, because the exposed area of the metallic matrix was reduced due to its recovering by SiC particles. However, the current densities developed by the NiP/SiC composite coatings increased with increasing amount of incorporated particles, and such effect is more remarkable for small particles, after heat treatment and when the systems are polarized

Impactos da facilitação do comércio sobre as exportações mundiais de produtos manufaturados nos anos de 2014 e 2017

Este trabalho investigou os efeitos da desburocratização de trocas comerciais nas exportações mundiais e bilaterais de produtos manufaturados. A análise considerou o período de 2014 e 2017. A metodologia utilizada foi exame de estatísticas descritivas e estimação econométrica com base no modelo de gravidade. Os resultados condisseram com o esperado e foram significativos tanto para o prazo de espera para exportar quanto para a conformidade fronteiriça. De forma geral, estudos contínuos sobre a facilitação do comércio são importantes e recomendados para que as transações internacionais ocorram de forma eficiente e harmonizada

Impacts of trade facilitation on worldwide manufactured products exports

This work investigated the effects of reducing the bureaucracy of trade on worldwide and bilateral exports of manufactured products. The analysis considered the period between 2014 and 2017. For this, the research applied the examination of descriptive statistics and an econometric estimation based on the model of gravity. Expected and significant results were found for export waiting period variable and border compliance. In general, the importance of continuous studies and follow-up on trade facilitation is highlighted, so that international transactions take place in an efficient and harmonized manner.Este trabalho investigou os efeitos da desburocratização de trocas comerciais nas exportações mundiais e bilaterais de produtos manufaturados. Usability guidelines for children's educational mobile applications

The increasing demand for educational applications has led to a competitive market for mobile devices, resulting in an increased supply of these products. This situation has raised concerns regarding the appropriateness of these applications in terms of usability and educational features. In light of this, the objective of this research was to analyze and contribute to the development of mobile applications targeting preschool-age children. The snowballing technique was employed, along with a questionnaire directed at parents and guardians of children who use mobile applications. Through this research, inadequacies in terms of usability and pedagogical requirements were identified. Based on these findings, a set of usability guidelines was developed with the aim of improving the development of future mobile applications

Núcleo de estudos e defesa de direitos da infância e da Juventude (NEDDIJ): Amparo à proteção integral da criança e do adolescente

Trabalho apresentado no 31º SEURS - Seminário de Extensão Universitária da Região Sul, realizado em Florianópolis, SC, no período de 04 a 07 de agosto de 2013 - Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina.O Núcleo de Estudos e Defesa de Direitos da Infância e da Juventude (NEDDIJ) é fruto do convênio celebrado entre a Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM) e a Secretaria de Estado da Ciência, Tecnologia e Ensino Superior (SETI). Seu objetivo é consolidar uma estratégia de atendimento, defesa e garantia dos direitos individuais e coletivos das crianças e dos adolescentes economicamente hipossuficientes, residentes na Comarca de Maringá-PR, que se encontrem em situação de risco, ou tenham seus direitos violados ou ameaçados de serem violados, assim como àquele a quem se atribua a prática de atos infracionais. Prezamos pela metodologia do trabalho interdisciplinar, prestando assistências jurídica e psicológica gratuitas. Por meio de ações intra e extramuros diversas, como palestras, conferências e pesquisas, o NEDDIJ busca socializar o conhecimento acadêmico para efetivar a tutela dos direitos da criança e do adolescente, bem como sensibilizar seus integrantes para o acolhimento e a humanização no atendimento ao público, integrando Universidade e comunidade em um objetivo comum. Assim, suas ações permitem a descoberta de novos caminhos para o tratamento das questões que envolvam os direitos infanto-juvenis, permitindo a sua efetivação, bem como oferecem condições de acesso à Justiça nas situações em que se necessita de tutela judicial. A assistência jurídica prestada engloba ações socioeducativas, de guarda, adoção e tutela. A assistência psicológica compreende escuta e acolhimento, aconselhamento, pareceres e atendimentos. O NEDDIJ constitui-se, portanto, em instrumento contributivo no plano das políticas públicas para a infância e a juventude

Construção do jogo “acompanhe-me se puder” como método de orientação para o acompanhante da gestante incluindo o COVID-19 / Construction of the game "accompany me if you can" as a method of guidance for the companion of the pregnant woman, including COVID-19

O trabalho de parto é um momento único para a gestante que traz consigo transformações hormonais, físicas e mecânicas. O estado emocional afeta diretamente o processo do parto sendo fundamental o preparo da mulher e o apoio recebido para enfrentar os possíveis obstáculos advindos. Nesse momento é imprescindível a presença de uma pessoa conhecida que transmita confiança, proporcionando segurança e tranquilidade durante todo o processo (LEITE et al., 2014; PICCININI, GOMES, NARDI & LOPES, 2008). Neste sentido, torna-se necessário instrumentalizar e habilitar o acompanhante em relação ao seu papel durante o período de pré parto, parto e nascimento, para vivencia-lo de forma mais ativa e colaborativa e se sentir incluído no processo. O objetivo foi propor um instrumento lúdico através do jogo “Acompanhe-me se puder” como método de educação em saúde para o acompanhante. Elaborou-se um jogo de tabuleiro visando a instrumentalização/capacitação do acompanhante no período da gestação, parto e nascimento, capacitando-o a atuar como sujeito ativo no processo, favorecendo a oportunidade de estar presente em um momento único e sendo inserido no espaço de cuidado anteriormente dedicado/idealizado somente para a mulher. Concluindo, é importante ressaltar que a intenção principal do jogo não é ganhar e sim promover a construção do conhecimento do processo para ambas as partes e garantir que se sintam parte essencial desse momento, promovendo interação entre os membros do grupo

Production and physicochemical characterization of genotypes of Eugenia uniflora L.

Pitanga (Eugenia uniflora L.) is an exotic fruit species of significant economic importance. However, due to genetic variability, its exploitation is hampered by the lack of homogeneous fruit production. In this scenario, this study aimed to select pitanga genotypes according to the physical and physicochemical parameters of fruits grown under semi-arid conditions. The study was developed at the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid Region with genotypes resulting from the open pollination of the pitanga variety ‘Tropicana”. Thirty-nine pitanga genotypes were evaluated for fruit mass, fruit length, fruit diameter, soluble solids (SS), titratable acidity (TA), ascorbic acid (AA), pH, and SS/TA ratio. The pitanga genotypes showed high variability. The clustering method separated the genotypes according to desirable traits. Genotype A12 showed the largest fruit sizes, whereas genotype A8 showed the highest SS and TA contents. Genotypes A2, A13, A34, and A39 showed fruits with the highest AT values. On the other hand, genotypes A11, A16, A45, A9, A26, and A44 showed the most significant contents of pH and SS/TA. Highlights The grouping of two genotypes depends on the environmental conditions, mainly on the effect of two genotypes per year. The analysis of principal components allows selecting the genotypes based on their desired characteristics.
