Brassicaceae Burnett no município de Santa Maria, Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil
Brassicaceae (Cruciferae) includes invasive species as well as widely cultivated horticultural species. In Santa Maria, Cruciferae species usually occur in environments that have undergone urbanization such as sidewalks, roadsides, walls, near energy poles, etc. The last listing of species of this family in the area was performed by Romeu Beltrão in 1962 and supplemented in 1965. The objective of the current study was to update the number of records of Brassicaceae species that occur in the municipality of Santa Maria, RS, as well as to provide keys for the identification for native and naturalized genera and species. Bibliographic surveys, field collections, herbarium material analysis and data from databases of speciesLink and Flora of Brazil 2020 were carried out, as well as complementary collections from August 2018 to April 2019. The species found were photographed and identified based on the existing literature. Identification keys for genera and species, as well as illustrations, were prepared. All genera had only one representative species in Santa Maria with the exception of Lepidium, which presented three species. There was an addition of three species and one genus in relation to the last survey carried out.
Nowadays, as software tends to assume increasingly critical roles, the need to assure its quality becomes ever more crucial. Several approaches emerged to help overcome this need, i.e., tools and processes of software testing that help increase levels of quality in virtually any type of software system. One example of such tools is the so called Model-Based Testing (MBT) tools, that generate test cases from system models. The generated test cases' quality can be evaluated by various means, either as a percentage of the model elements or code covered, and it is of utmost importance to obtain those measurements in order to determine when to stop testing. However, often times testing tools do not provide this information as expected. This work concerns the implementation of a coverage tool, PARADIGM-COV, that evaluates the quality of the test cases generated by an existing MBT tool, PARADIGM-ME. The proposed tool produces coverage information over the graphical model elements, useful not only to assess test case quality, but also in aiding the tester to provide appropriate data during configuration phase, providing in addition the percentage of the application under test code that was exercised during test case execution

Students\u27 information literacy skills at the School of Communication, Public Management and Tourism (Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, Portugal): evaluation and university library role
Having Information Literacy (IL) skills is essential for the student\u27s academic, professional and personal development. According to the guidelines of the European Higher Education Area, abilities and skills related to research, evaluation, management, use and dissemination of information are required. This research aims to present the results of the study carried out at the School of Communication, Public Management and Tourism - Polytechnic Institute of Bragança. The following data collection instruments were used: IL-HUMASS questionnaire and interviews. The questionnaire sample obtained represents 94.4% of the student’s population enrolled in the academic year 2018/2019. Results reveal that information research is ranked by students as the most important category and information treatment as the least important. Students achieve better development in information research and worse development in treatment and in communication and diffusion of information. Regarding preferred learning sources, classroom stands out, academic library comes up as significant source in the information communication and diffusion category, and self-learning in the information evaluation category. A higher percentage of self-efficacy deficits than of IL competence motivation is identified; students are motivated to acquire and develop those competences, but they have little mastery of it. Interviewees indicate collaboration between teachers and information professionals (librarian) as fundamental. It is concluded that the learning of information literacy skills is a relevant theme for students. All in all, a proposal for the implementation of an IL training program was developed, considering that the 21st century academic libraries must play a fundamental role in the students’ educational success
farmacêutico.ABSTRACT - Pharmaceutical inventory management of a wildlife hospital – two case studies -
Due to the continued rising in the costs of society in general and healthcare in particular, at
both human and animal level, it is essential the implementation of measures to control these
ones without compromising the quality of the service.
The stocks are a major investment for any pharmaceutical service therefore an efficient
pharmaceutical inventory management is reflected in the balance of an appropriate level of
products, better customer service and lower costs.
Several authors highlight that the understanding of concepts and methodologies of inventory
management on the part of veterinarians is crucial in the formulation of a pharmaceutical
inventory, thus ensuring the economic viability of veterinary institutions.
The targets of the study were two wildlife hospitals, managed by nongovernmental and
nonprofit organizations, GREFA (Majadahonda, Spain) and CERVAS (Gouveia, Portugal).
Both centers illustrate opposite scenarios, according to their size, equipment and treated
animals, but very widespread in the structuring of recovery and rehabilitation centers of wild
fauna.
The process of inventorying and stocks purchasing were described and analyzed for the two
centers. Their analysis identified limitations in both cases, particularly in the phases of
purchasing and stock storing.
This work demonstrates that the implementation of some of the basic principles of stock
management, such as reducing the number of suppliers, reducing the number of orders,
proper storage practices and the goods transfer control, could optimize the expenses
inherent to the pharmaceutical stock
O desenvolvimento da bateria Behavioural Assessment of the
As
Internet-delivered cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety among university students: a systematic review and meta-analysis
University years are marked by multiple stressors. Consequently, university students often report anxiety
symptoms or disorders, but most remain untreated. Internet-delivered cognitive behavioral therapy (ICBT) has
been proposed as an alternative to address known help-seeking barriers, which were aggravated during the
COVID-19 pandemic. This meta-analysis aims to evaluate the efficacy of ICBT for university students with
anxiety. A systematic search on three databases, EBSCOhost, PubMed, and Web of Science, and a manual search
were performed. Fifteen studies were identified, including a total of 1619 participants. Seven studies evaluated
ICBT treatment for both anxiety and depression, three for social anxiety, two for generalized anxiety, while the
remaining (k = 3) only targeted anxiety, test anxiety, and comorbidity between anxiety and insomnia. Analyses
were performed based on a random-effects model using the metafor package in R. The results indicated that ICBT
had a significant and positive effect on university students with anxiety compared to controls at post-test (g =
0.48; 95 % CI: 0.63, 0.27; p < .001, I2 = 67.30 %). Nevertheless, more research is required to determine the
intervention components that are more relevant for therapeutic change, how much guidance is required to
produce better outcomes, and how patient engagement can be improved.info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
A stochastic dynamic programming approach to optimize short-rotation coppice systems management scheduling: An application to eucalypt plantations under wildfire risk in Portugal
This article presents and discusses research with the aim of developing a stand-level management
scheduling model for short-rotation coppice systems that may take into account the risk of wildfire. The use of
the coppice regeneration method requires the definition of both the optimal harvest age in each cycle and the
optimal number of coppice cycles within a full rotation. The scheduling of other forest operations such as stool
thinning and fuel treatments (e.g., shrub removals) must be further addressed. In this article, a stochastic dynamic
programming approach is developed to determine the policy (e.g., fuel treatment, stool thinning, coppice cycles,
and rotation length) that maximizes expected net revenues. Stochastic dynamic programming stages are defined
by the number of harvests, and state variables correspond to the number of years since the stand was planted.
Wildfire occurrence and damage probabilities are introduced in the model to analyze the impact of the wildfire
risk on the optimal stand management schedule policy. For that purpose, alternative wildfire occurrence and
postfire mortality scenarios were considered at each stage. A typical Eucalyptus globulus Labill. stand in Central
Portugal was used as a test case. Results suggest that the proposed approach may help integrate wildfire risk in
short-rotation coppice systems management scheduling. They confirm that the maximum expected discounted
revenue decreases with and is very sensitive to the discount rate and further suggest that the number of cycles
within a full rotation is not sensitive to wildfire risk. Nevertheless, the expected rotation length decreases when
wildfire risk is consideredinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersio
