[EN] mplementation of mobile service for capturing the context and user interactions with mobile for further processing and improving the adaptation of the system. In particular we will focus on data collected from mobile device users with Android operating system. The captured data is processed to infer new information relevant to the user and adapt mobile services based on the new situation of the user.[ES[ Implementación de servicio móvil que permite capturar el contexto y las interacciones del usuario con el móvil para su posterior procesado y mejora de la adaptación del sistema. This document refers to the development within a research environment, which arises within the NUESTRA NIÑEZ FOUNDATION ENDLESS TASK of the city of Tuquerres in the Department of Nariño. This shows us clearly and concisely the various aspects and problems through which our children's communities, who are victims of domestic violence, violate the rights that relate to children (right to a decent life, right to health). , right to study) that from all points of view go against their physical, emotional and community partner. Thus, and through the use of a strategy that applies communication as a kind of participation, the aim is to energize the different social groups with firm purposes aimed at the mobilization of the victims, which in an organized manner must go from developing a secondary role to a leading role , which at the moment of managing conditions of development and construction energize the best participatory solutions to any problem

University Students’ Rejection to Learning Statistics: Research from a Latin American Standpoint

    Get PDF
Introduction: Negative beliefs, fear, avoidance behaviors, and superficial attitudes surrounding the learning of statistics create significant problems for university students in Latin America. Objective: To analyze the impact of fearful behavior, superficial work, and avoidance displayed by university students when it comes to statistics. Method: In this article, we give details about a quantitative research project carried out by two independent studies. The first (N = 310) focused on the development of a scale to assess negative beliefs, fears, and avoidance behaviors towards statistics, in which goodness of fit was determined in a 3-factor model. In the second study (N = 250), it was hypothesized that undergraduates perform superficially due to negative beliefs and avoidance behaviors when learning statistics. Findings: The proposed model explained 42% of the variance. In addition, in the analysis of the proposed mediation model, an adequate adjustment was found. In the discussion of this research project, the need to intervene in the negative beliefs, fears, and avoidance behaviors displayed by university students towards statistics is highlighted. Novelty:This research project explains why college students dislike or avoid learning statistics in depth. The findings will allow for a modification in the way statistics is taught so that Latin American professionals achieve better performance in this field. Doi: 10.28991/ESJ-2023-SIED2-07 Full Text: PD

Internal Migration in Mexico in the year 2000.

This study, based on the Census sample of 2000, sought to identify permanent internal migratory flows: people settled in a geographical entity different from that in which they were born. The aim was to establish the volume of migration and the characteristics of the localities (birth and residence) and, at the same time, provide interpretations of these phenomena within some established theoretical frameworks. Methodologically, the principal flows of migration between states of the Republic were established and correlated with the size of the localities to which migrants are attracted. It was found that, the age groups and genders of migrants are reinterpreted, as are their choice of destinations, to give a picture of internal migration different from that suggested in general models, especially those originating in the first world. The role of women in migration in Mexico seems particularly important. A new interpretation of the migration of children is suggested

In this research, we sought to improve the study of the epidemiological profile of the Venezuelan population that attends health centers in the region. A mixed approach was used that combined the quantitative and qualitative paradigms, with a non-experimental cross-sectional design that included descriptive, exploratory, and correlational approaches. Different methods were used, such as field and bibliographic research, as well as empirical and theoretical approaches, such as documentary analysis, scientific observation and the system approach. By applying a survey to a representative sample of 66 people, both foreigners and nationals, relevant results were obtained. It was found that a high percentage (80%) of those surveyed were unaware of the symptoms, while 20% were aware of it. In addition, a considerable percentage (63%) only went to health centers in times of discomfort, in contrast to 47% who did so at the right time. These results made it possible to identify important problems within the health centers in relation to the foreign population studied. To address these situations, various actions were carried out, such as informative talks and forums, as well as the distribution of educational brochures, among other strategies

Introduction: The self-management of university learning encompasses a series of aspects that allow students to be conscious and autonomous in their professional training. Objective: In this article, we present the process of creation and validation of a scale to assess essential factors of this phenomenon: self-management of learning, conscious motivation strategies for learning, perception of academic performance, and techniques for deep learning. Method: The design is a cross-sectional quantitative process with the purpose of carrying out validity and reliability analysis of a psychological measurement instrument. The research was conducted with 1373 university students from Chile and Ecuador. Results: The scale consists of 19 items that conform the four factors mentioned and whose results indicate adequate psychometric properties, allowing it to be applied in the Latin American context. Novelty:This research proposes a new instrument to assess the self-management of the university learning process, which contributes to carrying out new research in the university educational context. Doi: 10.28991/ESJ-2023-SIED2-019 Full Text: PD

Mining activities in Colombia are subordinated to environmental protection and adverse effects mitigation that may arise on communities and the environment, so before running civil works for oil exploration and exploitation, an environmental license should be obtained. This article shows the software architecture proposed that allows sharing in an integrated manner, information in geographical coordinates adjusted to regulations to support the decision-making of: specialists, control entities and communities involved in the study, assessment and approval of Environmental Licenses.
