S'ha volgut donar un tractament tan simple com ha estat possible intentant abastar les tipologies de màquines més freqüents. Active power control in a hybrid PV-storage power plant for frequency support

The recent increase of intermittent power generation plants connected to the electric power grids may stress the operation of power systems. So, grid codes started considering these power plants should con- tribute to the grid support functions. Recently, a power ramp rate limitation is being included in several grid codes, which is a challenge for photovoltaic installations due to the lack of inertia. This paper pre- sents a method to deal with the main grid code requirements considering a PV plant with an energy stor- age device, where a strict two-second time window ramp rate restriction is applied. A direct ramp rate control strategy is used, which includes a dynamic SOC control and battery support functionality for active power setpoint compliance. In the 1987-1988 academic year, the Barcelona School of Industrial Engineering (ETSEIB) began what is known as the 64 R Plan, which was a reform of the 1964 plan. This reformed plan, with a four-month structure which was unusual at that time, included the notable innovation of subjects of humanistic and technological nature (History of Science and Technology, and the Workshops course, respectively) in the first year. Automatització industrial amb GRAFCET

Aquest text pretén donar una visió aprofundida del GRAFCET com a mètode de descripció d'automatismes seqüencials en general i per a la programació d'autòmats programables en particular. A més descriu la guia GEMMA, que sistematitza la gestió dels modes de funcionament, les emergències i les avaries des del sistema d'automatització. Al final s'exposen dos mètodes (un de general i l'altre simplificat) per implementar automatismes dissenyats en GRAFCET sobre autòmats que es programen en diagrama de contactes (ladder). Automatismos eléctricos programables

El presente texto ha sido pensado como una introducción a los automatismos eléctricos que tienen como base al autómata programable industrial (API). Empieza estudiando los sistemes automatizados a nivel general, continua con la descripción de las diferentes tecnologías y termina con el estudio del autómata programable. Se han incluido temas como mantenimiento, redes de comunicación, redundancias, seguridad, averías, etc. a nivel descriptivo. Además, se ha incluido un capítulo sobre metodología de trabajo con autómatas que incorpora ejemplos para empezar a sentar las bases de una aplicación práctica

Induction motor with spiral sheet rotor

mprovements in torque at low currents using a rotor with spiral sheets are analyzed. Several rotors and stators have been built combining different constructive and mechanical characteristics of the related elements : inertias, constructive materials, geometrical shapes of the sheets and geometrical disposition of the sheets . These different types of motors have been simulated using computer aided tools and then tested in the laboratory. Finally, four stators (1000, 1500, 1500-type A, and 3000 rpm) with the same constructive parameters, have been simulated and tested with the following rotors types: solid rotor, solid rotor with diamagnetic rings, drag cup, and simple and double squirrel cage rotor; the results have been compared to those obtained with the seven variants of spiral sheet rotor presented in this paper.Peer ReviewedPostprint (published version
