Many changes have occurred in vaccinology along the last years. Vaccines had been available since more than a century, but in recent times the number of preparations increased in exponential way. The change was not only numerical, in parallel; there was high technological complexity. In addition to these structural changes, the indications also were changed, and even the degrees of benefits are now referring to new concepts of risk and of cost / benefit. At present, the social response to vaccines has been modified, sometimes generating reject, and a growing number of people participate in the implementation process of vaccines. The revolutionary process of May 1810 in Buenos Aires, capital of the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata, occurred within the context of the French Revolution, the United States’ struggle for independence and various changes in the European countries’ economies. Liberal ideas played an essential role, and the opinions of Belgrano, Vieytes and Moreno, among others, are the key to understanding the economic perspectives of the revolutionary men. Late mer-cantilists, physiocrats and classical economists marked these men’s economic thought. The purpose of this paper is to review these intellectual influences on the leaders of the May Revolution. The revolutionary process of May 1810 in Buenos Aires, capital of the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata, occurred within the context of the French Revolution, the United States’ struggle for independence and various changes in the European countries’ economies. Departamento de Economía y Finanzas; Argentina.A thorough analysis of current capitalism requires a proper understanding of the dynamics of technological changes and its effects on the economy. Innovation is fundamental for less developed capitalist economies to reducing the gap between them and the core capitalist countries. In this paper, a brief review of the different analytical perspectives used by economic schools throughout history to analyse the topic of technology is made. The relevance of technological changes had different levels of importance at different historical moments. The ideas of the classical economists (Smith, Ricardo, etc..), the socialists and Marx, Schumpeter’s ideas, the neo-classical school, the Keynesian view and some ideas from Latin America, are considered in this paper.https://www.unwe.bg/eajournal/en/journalissues/article/15503info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionFil: Blanco, Alfredo Félix. Inequality, poverty and the commitment of the economists

Problems like poverty, inequality and wealth distribution have been present ever since political economy was born. Classics, Socialists and Keynesians did not ignore their intellectual responsibilities and these themes were often present in their books. Other theoretical paradigms (like the Neoclassical or Monetarist ones) more often than not seem to forget these topics and the social responsibilities of the economists. In the late nineteenth century, the Marginal Revolution meant a profound methodological and epistemological change. The aim of the present paper is to discuss the importance of that change, to reflect upon the social responsibilities of the economists, and to advocate for a stronger commitment of economists to the solution to the economic problems of our society.http://www.unwe.bg/eajournal/en/journalissues/article/12159publishedVersionFil: Blanco, Alfredo Félix. This work in progress analyzes how different arousal advertising design may enhance online video advertising effectiveness. Previous research suggests that arousing ending designs could increase ad effectiveness. To test this proposition, our research combines different methodologies: a consumer neuroscience pretest is used to identify high and low arousal sequences; a field study based on a YouTube ad campaign is used as an exploratory study which helps to determine the experimental scenarios to be used in the final study with a large sample size. Preliminary results suggest that ad design need to be adapted to new formats of interactive advertising depending on the advertisers’ goals

This paperwork deals with the short story as a form of creative and spontaneous expression whereby students can acquire the necessary strategies to express themselves through different types of writing. To collect data, we used the observations and do cument analysis. After the data analysis, we can conclude about the importance of teaching practice in order to meet the needs, tastes and interesting of students. Finally , we consider the short story as an alternative to introduce students in the literary world

Intra-facility equity in discrete and continuous p-facility location problems

    Get PDF
We consider facility location problems with a new form of equity criterion. Demand points have preference order on the sites where the plants can be located. The goal is to find the location of the facilities minimizing the envy felt by the demand points with respect to the rest of the demand points allocated to the same plant. After defining this new envy criterion and the general framework based on it, we provide formulations that model this approach in both the discrete and the continuous framework. The problems are illustrated with examples and the computational tests reported show the potential and limits of each formulation on several types of instances. Although this article is mainly focused on the introduction, modeling and formulation of this new concept of envy, some improvements for all the formulations presented are developed, obtaining in some cases better solution times.Project TED2021-130875B-I00, supported by MCIN/AEI/ 10.13039/ 501100011033 and the European Union ‘‘NextGenerationEU/PRTR’’Research project PID2022- 137818OB-I00 (Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación, Spain)Agencia Estatal de Investigación (AEI), Spain: PID2020-114594GB-C2; Regional Government of Andalusia, Spain P18-FR-1422 and B-FQM-322-UGR20 (ERDFIMAG-Maria de Maeztu, Spain grant CEX2020-001105-M/AEI/10.13039/ 501100011033Funding for open access charge: Universidad de Granada / CBU
