Primary Amoebic (Naegleria fowleri) Meningoencephalitis Presenting as Status Epilepticus
Primary amebic meningoencephalitis (PAM) is a rare entity. Usual presenting features are fever, headache and seizures with meningeal signs and this disease carries high mortality rate. We present a case report of PAM presenting as status epilepticus

Spreading Awareness and Job Opportunities Through Odl
Distance Education has done miracles in the field of education, it caters to those students who study and work on their own at home or at the office and communicate with faculty and other students via e-mail, electronic forums, video conferencing, chat rooms, boards, instant messaging and varieties of other forms of computer-based communication. Distance learning makes it much easier for some students to complete a degree or get additional job-training while balancing work and family commitments. This article elaborates upon the significance of Distance Education discussing various job oriented courses offered by Open universities to aspirants seeking degrees for a better resume and for career enhancements
Impact of COVID-19 lockdown on food addiction in India
Food addiction (FA) has a long-term impact on the health of individuals. This study analyses the changes in FA and related behaviour in India in the wake of lockdown which started on 25th March 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 outbreak. This paper provides insight into the food consumption behavior of various segments of the population during this lockdown. It offers some new insights in this regard by establishing the relationship between a temporary pause in the consumption of palatable food and FA. This study was conducted between March and May 2020 in two stages. First, a quantitative study used the Yale Food Addiction Scale (YFAS) to identify food addicts from a sample of 150 respondents. In the second stage, in-depth telephone interviews were conducted with the food addicts; the responses were recorded, transcribed, and analysed to ascertain the changes in their overall consumption and addiction behavior towards palatable foods. This was done by conducting a thematic analysis with the help of the NVivo software where various tools like word cloud and cluster analysis were used. This study found that COVID-19 restrictions had significantly brought down the addiction to palatable food in India as the regular consumption chain had got broken during the lockdown. The consumption of palatable food is expected to remain low for a brief period after the lockdown due to hygiene issues like improper or lack of sanitization and cleanliness. However, in the long-run, the consumption of palatable food is expected to rise in India owing to its growing population, modernisation, increasing disposable income and changes in customer preferences. These findings have significant implications for the food, packaging and health industries as the changes in customer behavior will certainly impact them, and they need to duly change their strategy to adapt to the changes promptly
Enhanced Joule Heating in Umbral Dots
We present a study of magnetic profiles of umbral dots (UDs) and its
consequences on the Joule heating mechanisms. Hamedivafa (2003) studied Joule
heating using vertical component of magnetic field. In this paper UDs magnetic
profile has been investigated including the new azimuthal component of magnetic
field which might explain the relatively larger enhancement of Joule heating
causing more brightness near circumference of UD.Comment: 8 pages, 1 figure, accepted in Solar Physic
Downflows in sunspot umbral dots
We study the velocity field of umbral dots at a resolution of 0.14". Our
analysis is based on full Stokes spectropolarimetric measurements of a pore
taken with the CRISP instrument at the Swedish 1-m Solar Telescope. We
determine the flow velocity at different heights in the photosphere from a
bisector analysis of the Fe I 630 nm lines. In addtion, we use the observed
Stokes Q, U, and V profiles to characterize the magnetic properties of these
structures. We find that most umbral dots are associated with strong upflows in
deep photospheric layers. Some of them also show concentrated patches of
downflows at their edges, with sizes of about 0.25", velocities of up to 1000
m/s, and enhanced net circular polarization signals. The downflows evolve
rapidly and have lifetimes of only a few minutes. These results appear to
validate numerical models of magnetoconvection in the presence of strong
magnetic fields.Comment: Final published version. For best quality figures, please download

Web Based Image search Using Semantic Signature Re-ranking Technique
Web-based image search re-ranking, as an successful method to get better the results. In a query keyword, the first stair is store the images is first retrieve based on the text-based information. The user to select a query keyword image, by using this query keyword other images are re-ranked based on their visual properties with images. Now a day to day, people projected to match images in a semantic space which is used attributes or reference classes closely related to the basis of semantic image. though, understanding a worldwide visual semantic space to demonstrate highly different images from the web is difficult and inefficient. The re-ranking images, which automatically offline part learns dissimilar semantic spaces for different query keywords. The features of images are projected into their related semantic spaces to get particular images. At the online stage, images are re-ranked by compare their semantic signatures obtained the semantic précised by the query keyword image. The query-specific semantic signatures extensively improve both the proper and efficiency of image re-ranking.

Association Between Empathy and Burnout Among Emergency Medicine Physicians
Background:
The association between physician self-reported empathy and burnout has been studied in the past with diverse findings. We aimed to determine the association between empathy and burnout among United States emergency medicine (EM) physicians using a novel combination of tools for validation.
Methods:
This was a prospective single-center observational study. Data were collected from EM physicians. From December 1, 2018 to January 31, 2019, we used the Jefferson scale of empathy (JSE) to assess physician empathy and the Copenhagen burnout inventory (CBI) to assess burnout. We divided EM physicians into different groups (residents in each year of training, junior/senior attendings). Empathy, burnout scores and their association were analyzed and compared among these groups.
Results:
A total of 33 attending physicians and 35 EM residents participated in this study. Median self-reported empathy scores were 113 (interquartile range (IQR): 105 - 117) in post-graduate year (PGY)-1, 112 (90 - 115) in PGY-2, 106 (93 - 118) in PGY-3 EM residents, 112 (105 - 116) in junior and 114 (101 - 125) in senior attending physicians. Overall burnout scores were 43 (33 - 50) in PGY-1, 51 (29 - 56) in PGY-2, 43 (42 - 53) in PGY-3 EM residents, 33 (24 - 47) in junior attending and 25 (22 - 53) in senior attending physicians separately. The Spearman correlation (ρ) was -0.11 and β-weight was -0.23 between empathy and patient-related burnout scores.
Conclusion:
Self-reported empathy declines over the course of EM residency training and improves after graduation. Overall high burnout occurs among EM residents and improves after graduation. Our analysis showed a weak negative correlation between self-reported empathy and patient-related burnout among EM physicians

First record of Chaetonotus (Primochaetus) heideri(Gastrotricha, Chaetonotida) from India
This study briefly reports a newly recorded gastrotrich species, Chaetonotus (Primochaetus) heideri Brehm, 1917, which was isolated from the water sample collected from the Ramsar site Khajjiar Lake, Himachal Pradesh, India. A brief description of the Indian population, based on photomicrographs taken from live specimens, is presented here. The species is reporte
