Falisco "faced" y el perfecto de *dheH -k- "hacer" en las lenguas itálicas

tiene importantes implicaciones para el análisis
de las formaciones de la raíz *dheH1-k- en las
lenguas itálicas. Las formas de presente pueden
explicarse a partir de un tema con grado radical
cero y sufijo *-yo-, mientras que para el perfecto
se utilizan formaciones con reduplicación y grado
cero (*fe-fak-). Falisco faced, al igual que sus correspondientes
en lenguas sabélicas, puede explicarse
como un perfecto con pérdida de la reduplicación,
mientras que latín feci sería el único testimonio
de un perfecto “aorístico”. La constatación
de que faced es un perfecto del verbo “hacer” en
falisco obliga, además, a descartar la derivación a
partir de esa misma raíz de las formas fifiked y
fifiqod, lo que supone un argumento más en contra
de la existencia de un perfecto reduplicado con
vocal radical larga para esta raíz (tipo *fe-fÉk-) en
las lenguas itálicas.[EN] The occurrence of the verb faced, which is now
attested on a Faliscan krater, has major implications
for the analysis of the forms built on the root
*dheH1-k- in the Italic languages. Present tense
forms of that root are characterized by a zero root
grade and a suffix *-yo-, while the perfect is a formation
with zero root grade and reduplication
(*fe-fak-). Faliscan faced and its correspondants in
Sabellic languages can be best explained as “dereduplicated”
perfects, as opposed to the “aoristic”
Latin perfect feci. The fact that faced is the perfect
of the verb “make” in Faliscan also shows that
Faliscan fifiked and fifiqod cannot belong to that
root. This is an additional piece of evidence
against the existence of a perfect with reduplication
and a long root vowel (the *fe-fÉk- type) in the

Dielectric Bed of Nails in Gap-Waveguide Technology at Millimeter-Wave Frequencies

The confinement is possible due to a PEC/PMC condition on laterals, which prohibits the propagation of waves on those directions. PMC condition is commonly created by means of a metallic bed of nails. This letter examines the possibility of using a dielectric bed of nails to impose the PMC condition. The use of such kind of nails may facilitate the insertion of active components. This research aims to investigate on the behavior of the process of management of scientific information provided by the criteria of experts at the Oriente University in Cuba. In this regard, an exploratory study of that process was conducted from a documentary sample, conformed by thesis of undergraduate and doctoral, and using interviews to researchers professors. The developed study verified that there are inadequacies related to the location and access to expert groups, criteria for evaluation and the mechanisms used for managing and processing the information provided by these. Further verifying, the need to elaborate computer products with open access policies, which enable lessen the identified shortcomings

Validity of CSF alpha-synuclein to predict psychosis in prodromal Alzheimer's disease
BackgroundAlzheimer's disease (AD) accompanied by psychotic symptoms (PS) has a poor prognosis and may be associated with imbalances in key neural proteins such as alpha-synuclein (AS).AimThe aim of the study was to evaluate the diagnostic validity of AS levels in the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) as a predictor of the emergence of PS in patients with prodromal AD.Materials and methodsPatients with mild cognitive impairment were recruited between 2010 and 2018. Core AD biomarkers and AS levels were measured in CSF obtained during the prodromal phase of the illness. All patients who met the NIA-AA 2018 criteria for AD biomarkers received treatment with anticholinesterasic drugs. Follow-up evaluations were conducted to assess patients for the presence of psychosis using current criteria; the use of neuroleptic drugs was required for inclusion in the psychosis group. Several comparisons were made, taking into account the timing of the emergence of PS.ResultsA total of 130 patients with prodromal AD were included in this study. Of these, 50 (38.4%) met the criteria for PS within an 8-year follow-up period. AS was found to be a valuable CSF biomarker to differentiate between the psychotic and non-psychotic groups in every comparison made, depending on the onset of PS. Using an AS level of 1,257 pg/mL as the cutoff, this predictor achieved at least 80% sensitivity.ConclusionTo our knowledge, this study represents the first time that a CSF biomarker has shown diagnostic validity for prediction of the emergence of PS in patients with prodromal AD
Experiencias en la tutorización de enseñanzas técnicas
El PAT en la Escuela Politécnica está abierto a todos aquellos tutores que deseen formar parte del plan y también a todos los alumnos, que, voluntariamente pueden marcar la opción de participar en el plan en la matrícula, y también a aquellos que, a pesar de no marcar la opción en la matrícula, finalmente han decidido seguir el plan de acción tutorial. Esta característica de participación e inscripción voluntaria permite que el trabajo se realice más satisfactoriamente tanto por parte de tutores como por parte de los alumnos, puesto que han decidido seguir el plan por ello mismos y no como una imposición. Con este trabajo nos proponemos presentar nuestras experiencias en el desarrollo de la tutorización de nuestros estudiantes así como la evolución en el desarrollo de la tutorización por pares
Coordinación del Plan de Acción Tutorial en la Escuela Politécnica Superior
Al igual que en cursos anteriores en la Escuela Politécnica se desarrolla, promovido por el Vicerrectorado de Estudios, Formación y Calidad, coordinado desde el Instituto de Ciencias de la Educación, el Plan de Acción Tutorial (PAT) el cual está abierto a todos aquellos tutores que deseen formar parte del plan y también a todos los estudiantes, que, voluntariamente pueden marcar la opción de participar en el plan en la matrícula, y también a aquellos que, a pesar de no marcar la opción en la matrícula, finalmente han decidido seguir el plan de acción tutorial.
