Representasi Peran dan Relasi Gender dalam Kumpulan Bahan Bacaan Literasi Jenjang SMP

In recent years, the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture has provided a series of reading materials for young readers with segmentation ranging from PAUD to SMA. This procurement is special because this reading material is disseminated on a national scale to improve the literacy skills of the younger generation within the framework of the National Literacy Movement (GLN). This research aims to describe gender roles and relations in this collection of reading materials. This research data is a collection of junior high school level literacy reading materials published in 2016. The data was analyzed using content analysis methods through the stages of categorization, tabulation, interpretation and inference using a feminist literary criticism approach. The results of this research show that the collection of literacy reading materials at junior high school level shows alignment with patriarchal ideology. There is a reproduction of traditional gender roles, which presents a framework of women's domestication, and a depiction of men's roles attached to the public sector. Apart from that, it seems that the depiction of agency polarization is dominant in male characters compared to female characters. The depiction of gender relations in this collection of reading materials generally shows a hierarchical form of relationship, which emphasizes the superiority of male characters. Thus, this collection of reading materials shows that there is no balance that leads to gender equality. This is important to do because this reading material becomes intake for teenagers in forming teenagers' attitudes and perceptions about gender behavior.Keywords - Feminist Literary Criticism, Gender role, Gender Relation,  Literac

Analisis Kinerja Karyawan PT. Pilar Indo Abadi di Surabaya

This research aims to determine the influence of work discipline and work environment on employee performance at PT. Pillar Indo Abadi in Surabaya. The research method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The research results show that work discipline has a positive effect on employee performance which is acceptable, with path coefficients of 0.432845, and a T-statistic value of 4.560795 which is greater than the Z value α = 0.05 (5%) = 1.96, so Significant (positive), the work environment has a positive effect on employee performance which is acceptable, with path coefficients of 0.335382, and a T-statistic value of 2.90990 which is greater than the Z value α = 0.05 (5%) = 1.96 , then it is significant (positive). In conclusion, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Pillar Indo Abadi in Surabaya. Medición de la integración productiva en el Mercosur: un análisis desde la óptica del comercio intraindustrial y las cadenas de valor

En los últimos años, la necesidad de profundizar el proceso de integración del MERCOSUR integrando las cadenas de valor (integración productiva, IP) para reforzar la competitividad internacional del bloque adquirió una gran importancia. Por ello, nuestro trabajo mide el grado de IP tanto horizontal (complementación) como vertical (especialización) en el comercio intra y extrazona, combinando también medidas de comercio intraindustrial (CII) con categorías por uso económico. Si bien una primera mirada refleja un bajo nivel de IP en el bloque, el reciente aumento relativo del CII intrazona en bienes intermedios indicaría tanto un mayor grado de complementariedad como una mejor inserción dentro de las cadenas regionales de valor entre los socios del MERCOSUR, aunque la caída en el CII intrazona en bienes de capital (frente al aumento RESUMEN extrazona) sugiere que es necesario fomentar este tipo de comercio dentro del bloque. Asimismo, se observa un alto y creciente grado de IP vertical entre Argentina y Brasil, una primarización del comercio interindustrial Paraguay-Uruguay, y una creciente IP horizontal y vertical entre Argentina y Uruguay. Encontramos también evidencia de una transformación de la matriz comercial del MERCOSUR con el NAFTA hacia una mayor inserción del primero dentro de las cadenas globales de valor, marcando un cambio de rumbo en el relacionamiento entre estos bloques respecto del antiguo planteo del ALCA. En definitiva, nuestros resultados reflejan un aumento de la IP tanto horizontal como vertical dentro del MERCOSUR, a través de un mayor del CII en bienes intermedios y de capital, así como un potencial para reforzarlo reflejado en el tipo de comercio del bloque con el resto del mundo.There is a growing need to deepen MERCOSUR’s degree of integration, in order to integrate the regional value chains within the bloc (productive integration, PI) and hence strengthen its international competitiveness. This article measures the degree of both horizontal (complementation) and vertical IP (specialisation) in the bloc’s internal and external trade, together with Intraindustry trade (IIT) with broad economic activities. Even though at first sight the bloc shows a low IP level, the recent relative increase of internal IIT in intermediate goods would suggest both a greater complementarity degree and a better insertion within the regional value chains among the MERCOSUR partners, although the fall in internal IIT in capital goods (vis-à-vis the rise in external trade) would suggest that it is necessary to promote this kind of trade within the bloc. Moreover, our results indicate a high and growing degree of vertical IP between Argentina and Brazil, a primarisation of the Paraguay-Uruguay interindustry trade, and a rising horizontal and vertical PI between Argentina and Uruguay. We also find evidence of a change in the trade structure between MERCOSUR and NAFTA towards a greater insertion of the former within the global value chains, marking a shift in the relationship between these blocks, as opposed to the old FTAA arguments. In sum, our results show an increase in both horizontal and vertical IP within MERCOSUR, through a rise in the IIT in intermediate and capital goods, together with a potential growth given bloc’s kind of trade with the rest of the world.Fil: Molinari, Andrea.
