    E-Ticaret kavramı ve e-ticareti etkileyen faktörlerin panel veri analizi

    Günümüzde E-ticaret çok hızlı gelişen önemli bir ticaret şeklidir. E-ticaret çerçevesinde yaşanan gelişmeler sonucunda pek çok ülke uluslararası örgüt ve kuruluş elektronik ticaret ve bu alanla bağlantılı konuları gündemlerine almışlar ve elektronik ticaret olgusunu çeşitli yönleriyle araştırmaya başlamışlardır. Çeşitli avantajları sayesinde hem firmalar hem de tüketiciler tarafından tercih edilmektedir. Firmalar E-ticaret sayesinde daha geniş kitlelere ulaşabilmektedir. Bu bağlamda e-ticaret konusu araştırılmış ve e-ticareti etkileyen faktörler ile modelleme yapılmıştır. Çalışma üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde eticaret kavramı üzerinde durulmuştur. Gerekli tanımlar ve açıklamalar yapılmıştır. İkinci bölümde çalışmada kullanılacak model olan panel veri analizi anlatılmıştır. Sabit etkili modeller ve tesadüfi etkili modeller hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde gerekli ön testler yapılmış, oluşturulan modelle ilgili sayısal veriler açıklanmıştır. Kurulan panel veri regresyon modeli sonucunda e ticareti etkileyen önemli faktörler olarak enflasyon, kişi başına düşen GSYİH ve internet değişkenleri tespit edilmiştir. As a result of developments in E-commerce framework, many countries, international organizations and institutions took their agenda e-commerce and related issues and they have began to explore various aspects of the case. E-commerce is preferred by companies and customers through a variety of benefits. With e-commerce, companies can reach a wider audience. In this context e-commerce has been investigated and modelling has been made with the factors affecting e commerce. This study consists of three parts. The first section focuses on the concept of e commerce. Essential definitions and explanations are made. In the second section panel data analysis, which will be used in study is discussed. Information about fixed effects models and random effects models are given. In the third section primary tests are made and numerical data of the generated model are described. From the panel data regression model, enflation, GDP per capita and internet usage are found significant as variables affecting e-commerce.     4th AutorThis study aims to determine the factors affecting the performance of companies operating in the Turkish manufacturing industry. The sample of the study consists of 25394 firms which have been active in Turkish manufacturing industry between the years 2005 and 2011. Heckman sample selection model is used for the assessment of the growth and survival probabilities of the firms. According to the research model, it was found that the factors affecting firm performance are firm and industry based factors. It is concluded that Innovation, R&D, export and branch variables have positive significant effects on the performance of the manufacturing industry firms
