Finite volume schemes on Lorentzian manifolds

We investigate the numerical approximation of (discontinuous) entropy solutions to nonlinear hyperbolic conservation laws posed on a Lorentzian manifold. Our main result establishes the convergence of monotone and first-order finite volume schemes for a large class of (space and time) triangulations. The proof relies on a discrete version of entropy inequalities and an entropy dissipation bound, which take into account the manifold geometry accurately and generalize techniques and estimates that were known in the (flat) Euclidian setting, only. The strong convergence of the scheme then is then a consequence of the well-posed theory recently developed by Ben-Artzi and LeFloch for conservation laws on manifolds.Comment: 24 page

Maankäyttösopimusten sopimusoikeudellinen arviointi : erityisesti rakennusoikeuden heikentämisen seurauksena

Maankäyttö- ja rakennuslain (132/1999, MRL) 12 a luvussa säädetään maanomistajan velvollisuudesta osallistua kunnalle yhdyskuntarakentamisesta aiheutuviin kustannuksiin, mikäli asemakaavoitettavan alueen maanomistajalle aiheutuu asemakaavoituksesta merkittävää hyötyä. Maanomistajalle aiheutuu kaavoituksesta merkittävää hyötyä tavallisesti rakennusoikeuden lisäyksen johdosta. MRL 91 a §:n mukaan kustannuksiin osallistumisesta on ensisijaisesti pyrittävä sopimaan maanomistajan kanssa. Kunta ja maanomistaja sopivat tavallisesti maankäyttösopimuksilla siitä, miten maanomistaja osallistuu yhdyskuntarakentamisesta aiheutuviin kustannuksiin. MRL:ssa ei kuitenkaan ole nimenomaisia säännöksiä siitä, otetaanko myööhemmäässä kaavamuutostilanteessa huomioon aikaisemmin maksettu sopimusperusteinen korvaus esimerkiksi asemakaavamuutoksen merkitessä aiemmin korvatun rakennusoikeuden supistamista. Tutkielman tavoitteena on selvittää lainopin metodilla ja oikeustieteessä yleisesti hyväksytyillä tulkintamenetelmillä kysymystä siitä, voidaanko korvauskysymystä tai maksujen palauttamisvelvollisuutta arvioida sopimusoikeudellisena kysymyksenä. Tutkielmassa käsitellään lyhyesti myös perusteettoman edun palautusta koskevaa oppia, jolla on merkitystä tutkimusaiheen tarkastelussa. Tutkimuskysymyksen selvittämiseksi keskeisessä tarkastelussa on kysymys siitä, miten maankäyttösopimuksia on oikeudellisesti arvioitava. Tutkielmassa päädytään suhtautumaan varauksellisesti tulkintaan, jonka mukaan kunnilla ei ole korvausvelvollisuutta tai maankäyttösopimuksen nojalla perittyjen maksujen palauttamisvelvollisuutta rakennusoikeuden heikentämisen seurauksena. Toisaalta tutkielmassa päädytään suhtautumaan varauksellisesti myös sellaiseen tulkintaan, jonka mukaan kunnille syntyisi aina korvausvelvollisuus tai maksujen palauttamisvelvollisuus, mikäli maanomistajan rakennusoikeutta heikennetään. Tutkielmassa esitetään lisäkysymyksiä, jotka vaikuttavat epäselviltä ja ongelmallisilta maankäyttösopimusten osalta. Erityisesti kysymykset siitä, millä perustein maankäyttösopimuksilla peritään maksuja ja miltä osin sopimusoikeudelliset periaatteet soveltuvat sellaisenaan maankäyttösopimuksiin, ovat epäselviä. Näiden kysymysten osalta esitetään tarvetta asiaa selventäville prejudikaateille ja lisätutkimuksille. Lisäksi tutkielmassa todetaan asian olevan periaatteellisesti tärkeä, minkä takia tutkielmassa esitettyjä kysymyksiä olisi syytä selventää lainsäädännön tasolla

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been declared by WHO as a global pandemic and in Indonesia it is stated as a type of disease that causes public health emergencies and non-natural disasters, so it is necessary to make prevention efforts including prevention and control (Kemenkes RI, 2020) regarding prevention guidelines. and control of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). One way to prevent the spread of covid-19 is to spray disinfectants on objects suspected of having a virus. Especially for the human body, disinfectant spraying is carried out in a specially designed room or room. These booths are placed in markets, malls, schools, places of worship and so on. This research was conducted from September 2020 to December 2020 at the Faculty of Engineering, Christian University of Indonesia, Jakarta. Based on the test, it was found that the temperature and humidity can be displayed on the LCD and mobile phones via the Blynk application. Temperature regulation is done by activating or deactivating the exhaust fan and fan. At a temperature of> 280C the exhaust fan and fan will be active, then not active if the temperature is ≤280C. This tool has a measurement accuracy level for a temperature of 99.99% and 99.98% humidity with a thermohygrometer as a measurement reference tool

Efectos de la Intervención Asistida con Perros (IAP) en dominios cognitivos, motores y psicosociales en paciente con antecedentes de accidente cerebrovascular (ACV), vinculado a la fundación Instintos de la ciudad de Medellín

Esta investigación hace seguimiento a un programa de Intervención Asistida por Animales (IAA), enfocado en observar y describir los cambios en procesos cognitivos como lenguaje, memoria y atención, además del progreso en motricidad gruesa y fina e interacción social presentes en un paciente con antecedentes de Accidente Cerebrovascular (ACV) vinculado a la Fundación Instintos en Medellín comprendiendo así los efectos de la Intervención Asistida con Perros (IAP). En la actualidad, las investigaciones científicas sobre la interacción hombre/animal en Colombia y Medellín no son muchas contrario a lo que se ha realizado en distintas partes del mundo donde se evidencia investigación científica a mayor escala sobre las IAA, manifestando mejor adherencia al tratamiento, reducción de niveles de cortisol y presión arterial, disminución de sentimientos de soledad e inutilidad, promoción de la sociabilidad, motricidad entre otros beneficios derivados de la presencia motivadora del animal en la sesión terapéutica aumentando su eficacia. Se desarrollaron diez sesiones para implementar en 4 meses a un paciente de 55 años diagnosticado con ACV, seleccionando cinco perros de razas cruzadas con predominio genético de Labrador. Se espera que este proyecto de investigación incentive la preservación, difusión y comprensión sobre la importancia de la interacción humano/animal y cómo las IAA promueven la reconstrucción del tejido social y e1 mejoramiento en la calidad de vida de las personas.This research follows an Animal Assisted Intervention (AAI) program, focused on observing and describing changes in cognitive processes such as language, memory and attention, in addition to the progress in gross and fine motor skills and social interaction present in a patient with a history stroke linked to the Fundación Instintos in Medellín, understanding the effects of the Assisted Intervention with Dogs (AID). Currently, scientific research on human / animal interaction in Colombia and Medellín is not enough, contrary to what has been carried out in different parts of the world where larger-scale scientific research on AID is evidenced, showing better adherence to treatment, reduction of cortisol levels and blood pressure, reduction of feelings of loneliness and uselessness, promotion of sociability, motor skills, among other benefits derived from the motivating presence of the animal in the therapeutic session, increasing its effectiveness. Ten sessions were carried out to implement in a 55-year-old patient diagnosed with stroke within 4 months, selecting five crossbred dogs with a genetic predominance of Labrador. This research project is expected to encourage the preservation, dissemination and understanding of the importance of human / animal interaction and how the AAIs promote the reconstruction of the social fabric and the improvement in the quality of people´s lives
