The purpose of this research are: 1) Knowing the influence of price to customer loyalty of bread product of Gojek brand in Kampus A UNJ. 2) To know the influence of service quality on customer loyalty of bread product of Gojek brand in Kampus A UNJ. The analysis done in this research is descriptive and explanatory analysis. The research was conducted with 200 customers of Gojek bread brand, while data collection technique was done by distributing questionnaires, which then processed using SPSS 21. The result of analysis showed that: 1) Price has a positive influence on consumer brand loyalty. bread products of Gojek brand. 2) Service quality has a positive influence on brand Loyalty of Gojek brand bakery products. All three variables have a positive relationship indicating the improvement of one other variable to be better too

DNA damage and repair biomarkers in cervical cancer patients treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy: An exploratory analysis

Cervical cancer cells commonly harbour a defective G1/S checkpoint owing to the interaction of viral oncoproteins with p53 and retinoblastoma protein. The activation of the G2/M checkpoint may thus become essential for protecting cancer cells from genotoxic insults, such as chemotherapy. In 52 cervical cancer patients treated with neoadjuvant chemotherapy, we investigated whether the levels of phosphorylated Wee1 (pWee1), a key G2/M checkpoint kinase, and y-H2AX, a marker of DNA double-strand breaks, discriminated between patients with a pathological complete response (pCR) and those with residual disease. We also tested the association between pWee1 and phosphorylated Chk1 (pChk1), a kinase acting upstream Wee1 in the G2/M checkpoint pathway. pWee1, y-H2AX and pChk1 were retrospectively assessed in diagnostic biopsies by immunohistochemistry. The degrees of pWee1 and pChk1 expression were defined using three different classification methods, i.e., staining intensity, Allred score, and a multiplicative score. y-H2AX was analyzed both as continuous and categorical variable. Irrespective of the classification used, elevated levels of pWee1 and y-H2AX were significantly associated with a lower rate of pCR. In univariate and multivariate analyses, pWee1 and y-H2AX were both associated with reduced pCR. Internal validation conducted through a re-sampling without replacement procedure confirmed the robustness of the multivariate model. Finally, we found a significant association between pWee1 and pChk1. The message conveyed by the present analysis is that biomarkers of DNA damage and repair may predict the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in cervical cancer. Further studies are warranted to prospectively validate these encouraging findings

Deregulation of Aurora kinase gene expression in human testicular germ cell tumours.

International audienceThe Aurora kinases regulate chromosome segregation and cytokinesis, and alterations in their expression associate with cell malignant transformation. In this study, we demonstrated by qRT-PCR analysis of 14 seminomas that Aurora-A mRNA was, with respect to control tissues, augmented in five of 14 tumour tissues by 2.17 +/- 0.30 fold (P < 0.05) and reduced in 9 to 0.38 +/- 0.10 (P < 0.01). Aurora-B mRNA was increased in 11 tumour tissues by 4.33 +/- 0.82 fold (P < 0.01) and reduced in 3 to 0.41 +/- 0.11 fold. Aurora-C mRNA was reduced to 0.20 +/- 0.32 fold (P < 0.01) in 13 seminomas and up-regulated in one case. Western blot experiments, performed on protein extracts of nine seminomas and six normal testes, showed an up-regulation of Aurora-B protein by 10.14 +/- 3.51 fold (P < 0.05), while Aurora-A protein was found increased in four seminomas by 2.16 +/- 0.43 (P < 0.05), unchanged in three and reduced in two tumour tissues. Aurora-C protein was increased by 9.2 +/- 2.90 fold (P < 0.05), suggesting that post-transcriptional mechanisms modulate its expression. In conclusion, we demonstrated that expression of Aurora kinases is deregulated in seminomas, suggesting that they may play a role in the progression of testicular cancers
