The present research is concerned with determining the factors affecting the establishment of quality systems in companies registered in Tehran Stock Exchange. The variables under the study are companies’ accounting systems efficiency to provide information, organizational size, the extent of companies’ assets, and the extent of sales cycle, while the dependent variable is the establishment of the cost of quality system. This study uses a descriptive survey method, and the research relies on a correlational descriptive-analytic design with applied purposes. The population under study included stock exchange companies producing consumer goods, and the data for analysis were collected via questionnaires. The results revealed that the relationship between the variables about the efficiency of companies’ accounting system to provide information the establishment of the quality costing system was confirmed, while the relationship of the cost of quality system to the other three variables was rejected

Leukemia is a particular type of cancer characterized by the failure of cell death or disability in differentiation of hematopoietic cells. Chronic myelogenus leukemia (CML) is the most studied kind of this cancer. In this study, anti-cancer effect of dihydro-pyranochromenes derivatives were investigated in the human leukemia K562 cells. These compounds were found to be active cell proliferation inhibitors using MTT assay. Among these compounds, 3-NpC was determined as stronger compound with IC50 value of 100±3.1 ”M and was chosen for further studies. Induction of apoptosis was analyzed by AO/EtBr staining, DNA fragmentation assay, Annexin V/PI double staining and cell cycle analysis. Furthermore, Western Blot analysis showed that treatment of the cells with 3-NpC led to up-regulation and activation of caspase-3. The results of this investigation clearly indicated that dihydro-pyranochromenes derivatives induce apoptosis in the K562 cell line. This information signalizes also that these compounds may prepare a new therapeutic approach for the treatment of leukemia

The nano-sized (50 nm) water pools of the W/O nanoemulsion serve as “nano-containers and nano-reactors”. The entrapped polymer chains of CS inside these “nano-reactors” are covalently cross-linked with the chains of polyethylene glycol (PEG), leading to rigidification and formation of NPs. These NPs possess excessive swelling properties in aqueous medium and preserve integrity in all pH ranges due to chemical cross-linking with PEG. A potent and newly developed cell-penetrating peptide (CPP) is further chemically conjugated to the surface of the NPs, leading to development of a novel peptide-conjugated derivative of CS with profound tight-junction opening properties. The CPP-conjugated NPs can easily be loaded with almost all kinds of proteins, peptides and nucleotides for oral delivery applications. Feasibility of this nanoparticulate system for oral delivery of a model peptide (insulin) is investigated in Caco-2 cell line. The cell culture results for translocation of insulin across the cell monolayer are very promising (15%–19% increase), and animal studies are actively under progress and will be published separately.
