Topological spaces with the Freese--Nation property II
The aim of this paper is to study the class of spaces with the FNS property
and \pi-\FNS property. We shown that compact spaces with the FNS property for
some base consisting of cozero-sets are openly generated spaces and spaces with
the \pi-\FNS property are skeletally generated spaces
Study of the phase transition in polycrystalline (Ba_{0.90}Pb_{0.10})(Ti_{0.90}Sn_{0.10})O_3
Polycrystalline sample of (Ba_{0.90}Pb_{0.10})(Ti_{0.90}Sn_{0.10})O_3 was
obtained by means of a conventional ceramic technology. The dielectric
measurements were performed depending on temperature and frequency of electric
measuring field. The character of the phase transitions of
(Ba_{0.90}Pb_{0.10})(Ti_{0.90}Sn_{0.10})O_3 ceramics strongly depends on the
presence of Pb in the sample. The obtained results pointed out the diffused
character of phase transition. The temperature dependence of the dielectric
properties showed that the phase transition from the paraelectric phase to
ferroelectric one takes place at the same temperature (T_{m}=367 K). It does
not depend on the frequency of the measuring electric field. A change of the
value of the parameter \gamma takes place in the paraelectric phase.Comment: 5 pages, 6 figure
Barnasiówka Radiolarian Shale Formation : a new lithostratigraphic unit in the Upper Cenomanian-lowermost Turonian of the Polish Outer Carpathians (Silesian Series)
Mid-Cretaceous spicule-rich turbidites in the Silesian Nappe of the Polish Outer Carpathians : radiolarian and foraminiferal biostratigraphy
Spicule-rich turbidites are widespread inmid-Cretaceous deep-water flysch of the Subsilesian and Silesian units in the Polish Outer Carpathians. The spicule-rich material with an admixture of numerous radiolarian and foraminiferal particles was supplied, together with siliciclastic material, from shallow environments, mostly from the northern margin of the Carpathian Basin. We present new data on theage of these deposits in the Silesian Nappe, where they are distinguished as the Mikuszowice Cherts. This unit is composed of medium-and thick-bedded siliciclastic to calcareous turbidites including bluish cherts in their middle and upper parts and of thin non-calcareoushemipelagic shales. We have studied radiolaria and foraminifera from hemipelagic sediments and spicule-rich turbidites, from two con-tinuous sections in the Barnasiówka Range (Beskid Wyspowy Mts.) that included the Mikuszowice Cherts (31 m thick) and their transition into the surrounding units. The age of the Mikuszowice Cherts was determined taking into account the following radiolarian datumevents: (1) the occurrence of Praeconocaryomma lipmanaein the entire unit, (2) the FO (first occurrence) of Hemicryptocapsa tuberosain the upper part of the unit, (3) the FO of Amphipyndax stockiclose to the upper boundary of the unit, (4) the FO of Hemicryptocapsa prepolyhedra in the lowermost part of the overlying Barnasiówka Radiolarian Shale Formation. These datum events appear successivelyin the Western Tethys successions within the Rotalipora cushmani planktonic foraminiferal Zone, which corresponds to the middle andupper Cenomanian (except for its uppermost part). The foraminiferal assemblages, in which such taxa as Rotalipora cf.cushmani, R. cf. greenhornensis, whiteinellids and Uvigerinammina praejankoi successively appear, confirm the mid-late Cenomanian age of thespicule-rich turbidites in the Silesian Nappe
Distribution of nitrogen compounds in important sections of sugar beets
In literature the beet is often described as consisting of the following technologically important sections: crown, root and tail. The aim of the study was to determine the distribution of nitrogen compounds in the technologically important beet sections of untopped sugar beets with particular emphasis on the content of nitrate and nitrite. The Finezja sugar beet variety had been collected from the clamps in one of the Polish sugar factories in October during 2013/2014 campaign. The untopped sugar beets were divided into three sections: crown, root and tail. The content of total amount of nitrogen, proteinaceous nitrogen, α-amino nitrogen, the sum of the amide and ammonia nitrogen, nitrates and nitrite in these sections were determined. Although the crown of the sugar beet represented only 14.7% of it mass, this section contained on average 30% of the total quantity of α-amino acids as well as amide and ammonia nitrogen. This section contained approximately 77% of the total quantity of nitrate and 88% of nitrite. Untopped sugar beets would introduce much higher amounts of nitrogen compounds in comparison to topped raw material

Radiolarian biostratigraphy of the Upper Cenomanian-Lower Turonian deposits in the Subsilesian Nappe (Outer Western Carpathians)
The Upper Cenomanian-Lower Turonian flysch deposits of the Subsilesian Unit of the Outer Western Carpathians include a characteristic interval of green and black, siliceous shales with manganese concretions, benthonites and tuff, with abundant radiolarian fauna. Thirty two species of Radiolaria have been identified. Spherical cryptothoracic and cryptocephalic Nassellaria dominate in the assemblage. Two radiolarian species: Alievium superbum and Crucellacachensis have been proposed as biomarkers for setting the Cenomanian-Turonian boundary interval in the deposits ofthe Subsilesian series of the Polish Outer Carpathians
Risk profile of Polish enterprises in the media sector listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange
Risk management currently determines the probability of survival and development of enterprises. The main aim of this article is to attempt to map the risk profile of Polish companies in the media sector listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE) based on the categorization of risk factors identified by them. Empirical research was carried out on a sample of 15 companies listed on this Stock Exchange. The goal of empirical research was achieved through triangulation of research methods and techniques. The main method used in the research procedure was content analysis of source documents of the examined group of enterprises, mainly: annual reports (financial statements, management board reports), capital adequacy reports and other information published mandatory by WSE listed entities. The logical classification method and the comparative method in the closed comparison variant were also used. The main research findings indicate that the risk profile of the enterprises studied shows characteristics specific to the media sector that they represent
Imagination and word : Józef Czechowicz's "Human note"
The main objective of the article is the linear presentation of Józef Czechowicz's last volume of poetry entitled Nuta człowiecza [Human note]. It was edited in 1939, the year of the tragic death of the poet. The critics belive that this collection was one of his best. The author of the article pays attention to the particular poems, repeated imaginary pictures, evoked emotions and visions in the light of the whole anthology. Another point of reference is the role of the "cyclic construction of the subject" in construction of the whole volume
