Análisis del cumplimiento tributarío, la gestión y control de las cuentas de gastos de una empresa que produce y comercializa fundas y zunchos para banano ubicada en el cantón Pascuales durante el ejercicio fiscal 2008
The main intention of this tesina is to verify that the company has fulfilled suitably the tributary obligations, having correctly provisionado the risks derived from possible fiscal contingencies.
In order to fulfill the proposed objective one took place the planning, programming and application of the audit tests, the same ones that helped us to the Service to the revision of the tributary declarations presented/displayed by the company of Internal Rents and to be able to determine the consistency of this information.
Soon we elaborated necessary the internal controls for each test of audit that we carried out, with the intention that the company can have a suitable tributary fulfillment
Extinction procedure induces pruning of dendritic spines in CA1 hippocampal field depending on strength of training in rats
Numerous reports indicate that learning and memory of conditioned responses are accompanied by genesis of dendritic spines in the hippocampus, although there is a conspicuous lack of information regarding spine modifications after behavioral extinction. There is ample evidence that treatments that typically produce amnesia become innocuous when animals are submitted to a procedure of enhanced training. We now report that extinction of inhibitory avoidance (IA), trained with relatively low foot-shock intensities, induces pruning of dendritic spines along the length of the apical dendrites of hippocampal CA1 neurons. When animals are trained with a relatively high foot-shock there is a high resistance to extinction, and pruning in the proximal and medial segments of the apical dendrite are seen, while spine count in the distal dendrite remains normal. These results indicate that pruning is involved in behavioral extinction, while maintenance of spines is a probable mechanism that mediates the protecting effect against amnesic treatments produced by enhanced training

Objectives: To describe and discuss the work of a Pharmacy
Department for the health-care portal www.viatusalud.com.
Methods: Using a web portal, a Pharmacy Department develops
and updates a vademecum on drugs, and answers enquiries
by end-users.
Results: On December 31, 2002 more than 750 records on
drugs were available, and 3030 enquiries had been answered.
Conclusions: With this drug information and online enquiry
service, our Pharmacy Department helps meet the demand of
health-care information posed by the community and by patients
previously seen at Clínica Universitaria. In addition, it allows areas
of improvement to be detected in the information to be offered to
patients fron a Pharmacy Department, and represents a tertiary
source of information for health-care professionals
Effects of dexmedetomidine on subthalamic local field potentials in parkinson's disease
Background: Dexmedetomidine is frequently used for sedation during deep brain stimulator implantation in patients with Parkinson's disease, but its effect on subthalamic nucleus activity is not well known. The aim of this study was to quantify the effect of increasing doses of dexmedetomidine in this population.
Methods: Controlled clinical trial assessing changes in subthalamic activity with increasing doses of dexmedetomidine (from 0.2 to 0.6 μg kg-1 h-1) in a non-operating theatre setting. We recorded local field potentials in 12 patients with Parkinson's disease with bilateral deep brain stimulators (24 nuclei) and compared basal activity in the nuclei of each patient and activity recorded with different doses. Plasma levels of dexmedetomidine were obtained and correlated with the dose administered.
Results: With dexmedetomidine infusion, patients became clinically sedated, and at higher doses (0.5-0.6 μg kg-1 h-1) a significant decrease in the characteristic Parkinsonian subthalamic activity was observed (P<0.05 in beta activity). All subjects awoke to external stimulus over a median of 1 (range: 0-9) min, showing full restoration of subthalamic activity. Dexmedetomidine dose administered and plasma levels showed a positive correlation (repeated measures correlation coefficient=0.504; P<0.001).
Conclusions: Patients needing some degree of sedation throughout subthalamic deep brain stimulator implantation for Parkinson's disease can probably receive dexmedetomidine up to 0.6 μg kg-1 h-1 without significant alteration of their characteristic subthalamic activity. If patients achieve a 'sedated' state, subthalamic activity decreases, but they can be easily awakened with a non-pharmacological external stimulus and recover baseline subthalamic activity patterns in less than 10 min
Validación de la versión en español de la escala de evaluación del trastorno por déficit de atención e hiperactividad (ADHD-RS-IV.es) en una muestra española
Objetivos
El objetivo de este estudio es validar la versión en castellano del ADHD-RS-IV (ADHD-RS-IV.es) en una muestra española.
Métodos
A partir de una muestra total de 652 niños y adolescentes (rango edad: 6-17 años; media [DE] = 11,14 [3,27] años), se incluyó a 518 pacientes con TDAH (criterios DSM-IV-TR) y a 134 controles sanos. Para la evaluación de la estructura factorial, la validez y la fiabilidad de la escala se realizó un análisis factorial confirmatorio (CFA) mediante structural equation modeling en una matriz de correlaciones policóricas, y usando el método de máxima verosimilitud para la estimación. Se calcularon la validez discriminante y su valor predictivo mediante curvas receiver operating characteristics.
Resultados
La escala en castellano mostró una consistencia interna elevada, tanto para la escala total como para sus subescalas. El coeficiente alfa de Cronbach era 0,94 para la escala total y ≥ 0,90 para las subescalas. Los valores alfa ordinales eran 0,95 para la escala total y ≥ 0,90 para las subescalas. El análisis CFA mostró un modelo de 2 factores (inatención e hiperactividad/impulsividad) intercorrelacionados. La escala ofrece buen poder discriminante (AUC = 0,97).
Conclusiones
La versión española del ADHD-RS-IV (ADHD-RS-IV.es) mostró una estructura bifactorial consistente con los modelos del DSM-IV-TR y DSM-5, y con el modelo propuesto por el autor de la escala original. Además, posee un alto poder discriminante, lo que lo convierte en un instrumento válido y fiable para medir la presencia y severidad de síntomas de TDAH en la población española.Objectives
The purpose of this study is to validate a Spanish-language version of the 18-item ADHD Rating Scale-IV (ADHD-RS-IV.es) in a Spanish sample.
Methods
From a total sample of 652 children and adolescents aged 6 to 17 years (mean age was 11.14 ± 3.27), we included 518 who met the DSM-IV-TR criteria for ADHD and 134 healthy controls. To evaluate the factorial structure, validity, and reliability of the scale, we performed a confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) using structural equation modelling on a polychoric correlation matrix and maximum likelihood estimation. The scale's discriminant validity and predictive value were estimated using ROC (receiver operating characteristics) curve analysis.
Results
Both the full scale and the subscales of the Spanish-language version of the ADHD-RS-IV showed good internal consistency. Cronbach's alpha was 0.94 for the full scale and ≥ 0.90 for the subscales, and ordinal alpha was 0.95 and ≥ 0.90, respectively. CFA showed that a two-factor model (inattention and hyperactivity/impulsivity) provided the best fit for the data. ADHD-RS-IV.es offered good discriminant ability to distinguish between patients with ADHD and controls (AUC = 0.97).
Conclusions
The two-factor structure of the Spanish-language version of the ADHD-RS-IV (ADHD-RS-IV.es) is consistent with those of the DSM-IV-TR and DSM-5 as well as with the model proposed by the author of the original scale. Furthermore, it has good discriminant ability. ADHD-RS-IV.es is therefore a valid and reliable tool for determining presence and severity of ADHD symptoms in the Spanish population
Altered subcortical emotional salience processing differentiates Parkinson’s patients with and without psychotic symptoms
Objective
Current research does not provide a clear explanation for why some patients with Parkinson’s Disease (PD) develop psychotic symptoms. The ‘aberrant salience hypothesis’ of psychosis has been influential and proposes that dopaminergic dysregulation leads to inappropriate attribution of salience to irrelevant/non-informative stimuli, facilitating the formation of hallucinations and delusions. The aim of this study is to investigate whether non-motivational salience is altered in PD patients and possibly linked to the development of psychotic symptoms.
Methods
We investigated salience processing in 14 PD patients with psychotic symptoms, 23 PD patients without psychotic symptoms and 19 healthy controls. All patients were on dopaminergic medication for their PD. We examined emotional salience using a visual oddball fMRI paradigm that has been used to investigate early stages of schizophrenia spectrum psychosis, controlling for resting cerebral blood flow as assessed with arterial spin labelling fMRI.
Results
We found significant differences between patient groups in brain responses to emotional salience. PD patients with psychotic symptoms had enhanced brain responses in the striatum, dopaminergic midbrain, hippocampus and amygdala compared to patients without psychotic symptoms. PD patients with psychotic symptoms showed significant correlations between the levels of dopaminergic drugs they were taking and BOLD signalling, as well as psychotic symptom scores.
Conclusion
Our study suggests that enhanced signalling in the striatum, dopaminergic midbrain, the hippocampus and amygdala is associated with the development of psychotic symptoms in PD, in line with that proposed in the ‘aberrant salience hypothesis’ of psychosis in schizophrenia
