Asymptomatic cardiac rhabdomyoma in neonates : is surgery indicated?
Neonatal Tuberose sclerosis complex may be associated with symptomatic
cardiac rhabdomyomas. Cardiac rhabdomyomas are the most common
cardiac tumours. The symptoms include haemodynamic instability and life
threatening arrhythmias usually requiring early surgical intervention. This article reports a case of a 32 week gestation newborn diagnosed with a right
ventricular outflow tract mass and subsequently diagnosed with tuberose

Runoff Estimation and Morphometric Analysis for Hesaraghatta Watershed Using IRS–1D LISS III FCC Satellite Data
The study area, Hesaraghatta watershed is located between 77° 20′ to 77° 42′ E longitude and 13° 10′ to 13° 24′ N latitude with an area of 600.01 km2. Thematic layers such as Land Use/Land Cover, drainage, soil and hydrological soil group were generated from IRS–1D LISS III satellite data (FCC). An attempt was made to estimate runoff using Soil Conservation Service (SCS) curve number model and it was estimated to be 1960, 2066, 1870 and 1810 mm for sub-watersheds 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Quantitative morphometric analysis was carried out for the entire watershed and the four sub-watersheds independently by estimating their (a) linear aspects like stream order, stream length, stream length ratio, bifurcation ratio, length of overland flow, drainage pattern (b) aerial aspects like shape factor, circulatory ratio, elongation ratio and drainage density and (c) relief aspects like basin relief, relief ratio, relative relief and ruggedness number. Drainage density was estimated to be 1.23 km/km2 designating the study area as a very coarse textured watershed
Performance Analysis of a VPV/FC Hybrid System for Generating Electricity in Iraq's Remote Areas
A reliable electrical energy supply is a prerequisite for improving the standard economic and quality of life levels in a country. As is the case in many countries, Iraq is home to a collection of remote villages. Since it is uneconomical to connect these villages to the existing grid, the installation of stand-alone electrical power generators has become common practice. As a result, diesel stand-alone power generators see widespread use in these remote locales, which, whilst fit for their intended purpose, unfortunately suffer from several drawbacks, including instability in regards to everyday oil prices and a number of environmental issues. The implementation of a PV/FC hybrid power system could be one potential alternative to help solve these problems. Therefore, this paper will present PV/FC system control strategies alongside information relating to the performance of such system components, based on a case study that was conducted in Al-Gowair, Iraq. This study is especially important in terms of envisioning the future energy supply needs of Iraq. The HOMER simulation results showed that by using the proposed control strategies and suggested components of a PV/FC system, it was able to produce a satisfactory outcome
Beyond the binary collision approximation for the large- response of liquid He
We discuss corrections to the linear response of a many-body system beyond
the binary collision approximation. We first derive for smooth pair
interactions an exact expression of the response , considerably
simplifying existing forms and present also the generalization for interactions
with a strong, short-range repulsion. We then apply the latter to the case of
liquid He. We display the numerical influence of the correction
around the quasi-elastic peak and in the low-intensity wings of the response,
far from that peak. Finally we resolve an apparent contradiction in previous
discussions around the fourth order cumulant expansion coefficient. Our results
prove that the large- response of liquid He can be accurately understood

Effectiveness of pre-procedural rinsing with essential oils-based mouthrinse to reduce aerosol contamination of periodontitis patients
This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of pre-procedural rinsing using essential oils-mouthwash (Listerine®) in reducing bioaerosol contamination in a dental clinic. Thirty (30) subjects who consisted of those receiving treatment for periodontitis problems were randomly assigned to rinse with either 20 mL of Listerine® or 20 mL of placebo as control rinse. Every subject was instructed to gargle using the rinse for 1 min. Microbial samples of environmental air and saliva were collected before and after the rinse. All samples were further analyzed for total plate counts to measure the microbial level. Rinsing using Listerine® showed significant reduction in the level of microbial load in saliva compared to the control mouthrinses. Analysis done at three defined distance intervals from the operating site showed the level of bioaerosol contamination was highest at distance nearest to the treatment point of 1 ft. Based on counts of cfu, there was higher presence of microbial contaminant in bioaerosols of the control-rinsed group compared to the test-rinsed group using Listerine®. Therefore, it can be concluded that rinsing using Listerine® was effective towards reducing the microorganisms in saliva and oral cavity in general
Final state effects on superfluid He in the deep inelastic regime
A study of Final State Effects (FSE) on the dynamic structure function of
superfluid He in the Gersch--Rodriguez formalism is presented. The main
ingredients needed in the calculation are the momentum distribution and the
semidiagonal two--body density matrix. The influence of these ground state
quantities on the FSE is analyzed. A variational form of is used, even
though simpler forms turn out to give accurate results if properly chosen.
Comparison to the experimental response at high momentum transfer is performed.
The predicted response is quite sensitive to slight variations on the value of
the condensate fraction, the best agreement with experiment being obtained with
. Sum rules of the FSE broadening function are also derived and
commented. Finally, it is shown that Gersch--Rodriguez theory produces results

Intestinal myiasis in a Malaysian patient caused by larvae of Clogmia albipunctatus (Diptera: Psychodidae)
Clogmia albipunctatus (Duckhouse) is a cosmopolitan fly belonging to the family Psychodidae and is one of the medically important insects associated with urban environments ( Smith and Thomas 1979 ). Psychodid larvae can cause myiasis in humans through infestation of healthy or traumatized tissues ( Hall and Smith 1993 ). Human myiasis can be presented in various forms with cutaneous myiasis the most common form ( Tu et al. 2007 ). Other infestation sites include nasal, aural, pulmonary, ophthalmic cavities, body cavities, and the gastrointestinal and urogenital systems ( Tu et al. 2007 , El-Badry et al. 2014 ). Intestinal myiasis may result from accidental ingestion of larvae. Subsequently, this form of myiasis presents symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and distention, loss of appetite, weight loss, and episodic diarrhea ( Ramana 2012 ). This is the second reported case of human intestinal myiasis in Malaysia caused by larvae of C. albipunctatus . Microscopic examination revealed the structure of the larvae and DNA barcoding established the species identity
Enhanced Integrated Indoor Positioning Algorithm Utilising Wi-Fi Fingerprint Technique
This paper describes an integrated positioning algorithm utilizing Wi-Fi fingerprint technique for indoor positioning. The main contribution of this work is the improvement of positioning accuracy for indoor localization even in extreme RSSI fluctuation which leads to variation of positioning error. Several layers of Wi-Fi positioning is proposed, which are based on deterministic techniques, iterative Bayesian estimation, and also Kalman filter to enhance accuracy due to noise presence. Here, accumulated accuracy is introduced where the distribution of location error is determined by estimation at each test point on path movement. The results show that the integrated algorithm enhances the estimation accuracy in several scenarios which are different Wi-Fi chipsets and movement directions. The error distribution shows an achievement of up to 65% for error less than 5m compared to the basic deterministic technique of only 45%
Poly(ferrocenylsilanes) as Etch Barriers in Nano and Microlithographic Applications
Thin films of organic-organometallic block copolymers are shown to be efficient self-assembled templates for nanolithography. Block copolymers composed of organic blocks such as polyisoprene or polystyrene and a poly(ferrocenylsilane) block microphase separate to form a monolayer of densely packed organometallic spheres in an organic matrix. The high resistance of the organometallic phase to reactive ion etching enables the nanoscale patterns to be transferred into silicon substrates, forming nano structured surfaces. Electrostatic self-assembly of poly(ferrocenylsilane) polyanions and polycations is discussed as a means to form laterally structured organometallic multilayer thin films by area-selective adsorption onto chemically patterned substrates
