Kino rinkodara ir prekės ženklo tęstinumas: „Redirected/Už Lietuvą!“ atvejo analizė

The analysis of the most successful cases in the Lithuanian film marketing, which has also been related with the use of social media and integrated marketing communication, should undoubtedly emphasise an example of Redirected: it reveals a consistent need to promote films in an innovative way which attracts the audience’s attention and motivates them to watch a film, especially in smaller film industries. As the Lithuanian film industry belongs to the smaller ones, innovative marketing communication strategy alone cannot suffice to motivate the audience to watch the film. Therefore, the film itself has to be either very significant (e.g., a sequel) or, as in the case of Redirected/Už Lietuvą, has to extend the sequel while at the same time be “something new, but still familiar” to the film spectators.Analizuojant sėkmingiausius Lietuvos kino rinkodaros atvejus, kurie susiję su socialinių medijų naudojimu ir integruota rinkodaros komunikacija, neabejotinai verta išskirti „Redirected“ pavyzdį. Šio atvejo analizė atskleidžia nuoseklaus ir novatoriško požiūrio poreikį siekiant pritraukti žiūrovų dėmesį ir motyvuoti žiūrėti filmą, ypač mažesnėse kino industrijose. Kadangi Lietuvos kino industrija priskiriama mažosioms, vien novatoriškos rinkodaros komunikacijos strategijos nepakanka, todėl pats filmas turi būti arba labai reikšmingas (pavyzdžiui, tęsinys) arba, kaip „Redirected/Už Lietuvą“ atveju, turi pratęsti tęsinį ir tuo pat metu kino žiūrovams būti „kažkuo nauju, bet vis tiek pažįstamu“

Band-edge problem in the theoretical determination of defect energy levels: the O vacancy in ZnO as a benchmark case

Calculations of formation energies and charge transition levels of defects routinely rely on density functional theory (DFT) for describing the electronic structure. Since bulk band gaps of semiconductors and insulators are not well described in semilocal approximations to DFT, band-gap correction schemes or advanced theoretical models which properly describe band gaps need to be employed. However, it has become apparent that different methods that reproduce the experimental band gap can yield substantially different results regarding charge transition levels of point defects. We investigate this problem in the case of the (+2/0) charge transition level of the O vacancy in ZnO, which has attracted considerable attention as a benchmark case. For this purpose, we first perform calculations based on non-screened hybrid density functionals, and then compare our results with those of other methods. While our results agree very well with those obtained with screened hybrid functionals, they are strikingly different compared to those obtained with other band-gap corrected schemes. Nevertheless, we show that all the different methods agree well with each other and with our calculations when a suitable alignment procedure is adopted. The proposed procedure consists in aligning the electron band structure through an external potential, such as the vacuum level. When the electron densities are well reproduced, this procedure is equivalent to an alignment through the average electrostatic potential in a calculation subject to periodic boundary conditions. We stress that, in order to give accurate defect levels, a theoretical scheme is required to yield not only band gaps in agreement with experiment, but also band edges correctly positioned with respect to such a reference potential

3D Object Reconstruction from Imperfect Depth Data Using Extended YOLOv3 Network

State-of-the-art intelligent versatile applications provoke the usage of full 3D, depth-based streams, especially in the scenarios of intelligent remote control and communications, where virtual and augmented reality will soon become outdated and are forecasted to be replaced by point cloud streams providing explorable 3D environments of communication and industrial data. One of the most novel approaches employed in modern object reconstruction methods is to use a priori knowledge of the objects that are being reconstructed. Our approach is different as we strive to reconstruct a 3D object within much more difficult scenarios of limited data availability. Data stream is often limited by insufficient depth camera coverage and, as a result, the objects are occluded and data is lost. Our proposed hybrid artificial neural network modifications have improved the reconstruction results by 8.53 which allows us for much more precise filling of occluded object sides and reduction of noise during the process. Furthermore, the addition of object segmentation masks and the individual object instance classification is a leap forward towards a general-purpose scene reconstruction as opposed to a single object reconstruction task due to the ability to mask out overlapping object instances and using only masked object area in the reconstruction process

Charge state of the O2_{2} molecule during silicon oxidation through hybrid functional calculations

We study the charge state of the diffusing O2_2 molecule during silicon oxidation through hybrid functional calculations. We calculate charge transition levels of O2_2 in bulk SiO2_2 and use theoretical band offsets to align these levels with respect to the Si band edges. To overcome the band-gap problem of semilocal density fuctionals, we employ hybrid functionals with both predefined and empirically adjusted mixing coefficients. We find that the charge transition level ϵ0/\epsilon^{0/-} in bulk SiO2_2 occurs at \sim1.1 eV above the silicon conduction band edge, implying that the O2_2 molecule diffuses through the oxide in the neutral charge state. While interfacial effects concur to lower the charge transition level, our estimates suggest that the neutral charge state persists until silicon oxidation.Comment: 4 pages, 3 figure

Non-adaequatio: negatyvioji dialektika tarp Kanto ir Hegelio

The aim of this article is to frame Adorno’s concept of ‘nonidentity’ in the context of German idealism, namely, the philosophies of Kant and Hegel. The thesis to be defended is that “Secularization of Metaphysics” entails relinquishing, as well as prolongation of the German idealist tradition. The argument is developed in the following steps: 1) the constitution of an autonomous transcendental subject is shown to be rooted in the idea of Enlightenment; 2) by reconstructing Adorno’s conception of truth as non-adaequatio, I claim that Adorno’s philosophy is conducted from the perspective of the end of philosophy; 3) the sociohistorical character of the concept of ‘nonidentity’ is discussed in relation to Adorno’s understanding of history; 4) the concept of ‘nonidentity’ is discussed as implying a continuation of the Kantian project on a metacritical level; 5) Adorno’s critique of Kant is reconstructed in the context of Hegel’s Faith and Knowledge.

We investigated fungal communities in oak wounds to determine how fungal species richness and community composition changes depending on the age of wounds. The sampling of wood cores was carried out from 10-, 20-, 30-, 40-, and 50-year-old wounds. The fungal community was analyzed using high-throughput sequencing of ITS2 rDNA. Sequence analysis showed the presence of 534 fungal OTUs, which were 83.4% Ascomycota, 16.3% Basidiomycota, and 0.3% Mucoromycota. The fungal OTU richness changed over time: it increased as compared between 10- and 20-year-old wounds, remained similar in 20- to 40-year-old wounds, and decreased in 50-year-old wounds. The fungal community composition also changed over time with the largest differences detected between 10-year-old and older wounds (p < 0.001). The most common representatives of Basidiomycota were Laetiporus sulphureus (34.7%), Mycena galericulata (17.0%), and Cylindrobasidium evolvens (6.5%), and the most common of Ascomycota were Aposphaeria corallinolutea (13.6%), Sclerostagonospora cycadis (7.6%), and Cadophora malorum (5.8%). In conclusion, oak wounds of different ages were colonized by a high diversity of fungi including oak-associated species. Fungal communities in oak wounds underwent qualitative and quantitative changes over time, which led to the gradual shift from fungal generalists in young wounds to oak specialists in older wounds

The aim of this article is to define the Japanese, South Korean and Lithuanian latest pension system reforms and measures during economic crisis. Problems of the Japanese, S. Korean and Lithuanian pension systems are similar to the others industrial Asian or European Union countries: ageing, impact of economic crisis and pension system budget deficit. Moreover, the Japanese, S. Korean and Lithuanian population ageing rapidly (low birth rate, longer life expectancy) and it influences the entire society and requires more complex and pressing pension systems reforms. All countries of the world fighting against the ageing and searching for the pension system financial sustainability. After the universal pension system reform in 1985, the task of Japanese government is to ensure for each participant an adequate and regular pension income, to implement the social justice and solidarity. Pension system reforms in S. Korea began intensively only since 1997 and this was associated with a global currency crisis. Since the end of the last century until 2009, S. Korean government has developed a modern social security and social assistance systems. The government is constantly increasing social security coverage and benefits (from 1999 to 2009, social benefits increased almost four times). However, the social security coverage is still insufficient, income disparities increasing and the financial disbalances require to reform the pension system for a long-term perspective. The pension system reform of 2003 and 2011 raised the wide discussion on the state social pension insurance system future development of Lithuania. This reform clearly demonstrates that the government in 2003 opted for a liberal position and in 2011 – it was decided to strengthen state social insurance guarantees.
