    This research aims to examine the effect of environmental performance, profitability, company size, and leverage on the disclosure of islamic social reporting. This research was performed on companies listed in the List of Islamic Securities. The population in this research were 227 companies in the period 2012-2015. Samples were taken using purposive sampling method. Sample meeting the criteria as many as 26 companies. Methods of data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research indicate that the size of the company's and environmental performance are significant effect on the disclosure of islamic social reporting, while profitability and leverage no significant effect on the disclosure of islamic social reporting companies listed in the List of Islamic Securities

    The Effect of Ipomoea batatas Leaves in Diet on the Carcass Characteristics of Broiler Chicken

    The research to find out the response of broiler consuming sweet potato leaves meal (Ipomoea batatas) on live weight, carcass weight and pigmentation of carcass skin was conducted at Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Padjadjaran University and Mekar Pawitan village, Paseh sub district, Bandung Regency for five weeks. The experiment design was a completely randomized using 125 day old chick. The birds were placed randomly into twenty five cages. The treatments were ration without sweet potato leaves meal (R0) and ration containing sweet potato leaves meal 5% (R1), 10% (R2), 15% (R3) and 20% (R4). The ration and water were given ad libitum. The data analyzed by analysis of variance and Duncan's multiple range test (live weight and carcass weight) and Kruskal-Wallis Test (pigmentation of carcass skin). The parameters were live weight, carcass weight and pigmentation of carcass skin. The result indicated that use of sweet potato leaves meal up to 5% had similar live weight, carcass weight and pigmentation of carcass skin to those of control.     Virgin Coconut Oil Increases the Productivity of Broiler Chicken Post Avian Influenza Vaccination

    . Chicken productivity is not only determined by body weight increase and feed efficiency but also disease resistance. Avian influenza (AI) is still an endemic in Indonesia. Highly mutative characteristic of AI causes unsuccessful vaccination to preventing chicken mortality; therefore, feed modulation alternatives are sought to raise body weight and body immune as well. Virgin coconut oil (VCO) contains fatty acid potential as antimicrobe and antivirus; VCO intake is therefore expected to increase chicken body immune. This research aimed at feed modulation to increase broiler chicken productivity. Forty broiler chicken of one day old (DOC) were used and the research applied Completely Randomized Factorial Design in which factor one was two vaccine levels namely AI-vaccinated chickens and AI-unvaccinated chickens. Factor two used four levels of VCO: 0, 5, 10, 15 mL/kg feed. DOC chickens were divided into eight treatment groups and repeated in five experiment units. Feed and water were given ad libitum. The result demonstrated that in spite of heterophile increase in AI-vaccinated VCO-given chickens, heterophile/lymphocyte ratio and feed intake were not significantly different among all treatment groups. With the highest body weight found in AI-vaccinated chickens given 10ml/kg feed VCO, it could therefore be concluded that VCO intake of 10mL/kg feed could raise body weight

    The Effect of Virgin Coconut Oil on Lymphocyte and Cd4 in Chicken Vaccinated Against Avian Influenza Virus

    This research aimed to find preventing alternative of avian influenza (AI) disease in broiler chickenby increasing body immune. Lymphocyte T would directly react to antigen presented to the cell surfaceby antigen presenting cell (APC). Th-CD4 interaction functioned to maintain Th-APC bond intactduring specific antigen activation. Fatty acid in virgin coconut oil (VCO) was potential asimmunostimulant, which therefore could increase chicken immunity through the increase of lymphocyteT and Th-CD4. This research used 40 one-day-old broiler chickens. The method applied was CompletelyRandomized Factorial Design in which the first factor was two levels of vaccine, namely groups of AIvaccinated and unvaccinated. The second factor was four levels of VCO namely 0, 5, 10, 15 mL/kg feed.Day Old Chick (DOC) were divided into eight treatment groups and repeated five times. Feed and waterwere given ad libitum for four weeks. The result showed that the number of lymphocyte and Th-CD4 inchickens given 10 mL per kg feed and vaccinated with AI was higher than that in chickens given VCOwithout AI vaccine

Wisata Akuarium Laut Surabaya adalah tempat yang berfungsi sebagai area wisata yang memiliki 3 fungsi utama : edukasi, rekreasi dan konservasi tentang satwa laut dari lautan Indonesia dan berbagai tempat di dunia. Pemilihan tema rancang yang dipakai adalah biru, yang merupakan pendefinisian dari makna dan filosofi dari warna biru.     2,3,7,8-TETRAKLORODIBENZO-P-DIOKSIN (TCDD) MEMACU AKTIVITAS BIOSINTESIS PROTEIN DI JARINGAN PALATUM EMBRIO MENCIT

    Bahan pencemar dioksin 2,3,7,8-Tetraklorodibenzo-p-dioksin (TCDD) yang diberikan pada mencit bunting menyebabkan janin yang dihasilkan menderita cacat cleft palate, dengan ciri bilah palatum kerdil atau bilah palatum tumbuh pendek. Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk menguji apakah pengurangan biosintesis protein terlibat sebagai mekanisme yang mendasari hambatan pertumbuhan bilah palatum oleh TCDD. Delapan ekor mencit bunting dibagi ke dalam empat kelompok, masing-masing diberi TCDD dosis 0, 5, 10, atau 20 μg/kg berat badan pada hari ke-12 kebuntingan. Besaran aktivitas biosintesis protein jaringan palatum embrio ditentukan dengan teknik AgNOR pada sediaan histologis irisan jaringan kraniofasial embrio usia kebuntingan hari ke-15. Nucleolar Organizing Region (NOR) adalah tempat biogenesis ribosom di inti sel yang jumlahnya meningkat seiring dengan peningkatan aktivitas biosintesis protein sel. Rataan jumlah butir AgNOR sel-sel jaringan palatum yang terendah adalah 2,51±0,167 untuk perlakuan 0 μg/kg bb (kontrol), dan berturut-turut 2,87±0,146, 2,87±0,190, dan 2,88±0,160 untuk perlakuan dosis 5, 10, dan 20 μg/kg bb. Jumlah butir AgNOR pada seluruh kelompok yang diberi TCDD lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan jumlah butir AgNOR pada kontrol (P < 0,05). Disimpulkan, pengurangan biosintesis protein bukanlah mekanisme yang mendasari hambatan pertumbuhan palatum mencit oleh TCDD. Diduga, peningkatan biosintesis protein oleh TCDD menimbulkan kekacauan keseimbangan protein-protein faktor tumbuh di jaringan palatum dan mengakibatkan gangguan pertumbuhan dan diferensias

    The manufacturing industry sector is a major driver of economic growth in Indonesia with the largest contribution to the components of Gross Domestic Product is 25.60 % in 2012. But the globalization and liberalization of International trade requires industries to be more competitive. Improving the competitiveness of the industry can be done through the development of regional-based industrial sector main industry that area. The purpose of this study was to analyze the competitiveness and industrial agglomeration, the causality relationship between competitiveness and agglomeration industry and the factors that influence agglomeration of province main industries. This study was using large and medium scale industry raw data. The data analysis using Location Quotient, Hoover Balassa Index, Granger Causality method and panel data method with Fixed Effect Model. The result of panel data regression shows factors that influence the agglomeration of province main industries are firm size, value added, the diversity of industry, industry competition index, competitiveness index, wages and road infastructure
