Magnetic dipole moments for composite dark matter
We study neutral dark matter candidates with a nonzero magnetic dipole
moment. We assume that they are composite states of new fermions related to the
strong phase of a new gauge interaction. In particular, invoking a dark flavor
symmetry, we analyze the composition structure of viable candidates depending
on the assignations of hypercharge and the multiplets associated to the
fundamental constituents of the extended sector. We determine the magnetic
dipole moments for the neutral composite states in terms of their constituents
masses.Comment: 22 pages, 3 figure
La Creatividad Como Herramienta Didáctica En El Desarrollo Educativo Musical En Educación Primaria
This research shows a case study based on the analysis of an educational proposal focused on musical creative practice developed with 26 students in a class group of 4th year of primary education in a school year. The work was based on the musical teaching-learning process, the study of their contribution to the achievement of the set of curricular musical competences and the improvement of the student work in different contexts of learning with varying degrees of autonomy. The qualitative nature of this educational research has pointed out the use of numerous instruments for collecting information, whose triangulation has facilitated the interpretation of the results. The understanding of musical knowledge in selfexperimentation and the active dimension of the educational proposal have stimulated the familiarization of students with the musical activity as a way of autodidaxia creative activity
El Pensamiento Crítico Como Estrategia Didáctica Musical En La Educación Emancipatoria Del Alumno En Educación Primaria
Our report is concerned with the study of critical thought in musical education as a capacity which encourages the intellectual autonomy of students in primary education. After a theoretical review, based on the conceptualization and the description of the features that identify it, we provide a practical argument for its educational consideration with the development of a working with two groups of sixth grade of primary education, in which students adopt an active role becoming an element of reflection, analysis and construction of learning the musical activity. The conclusion of the study allows us to demonstrate that the promotion of reflective and critical thinking in a system of learning tasks, from cooperative work stimulates the natural development of the communication and autonomy as fundamental skills in metacognitive learning music
Análisis De La Práctica Creativa Musical En Educación Primaria Como Base Para El Diseño Y Desarrollo De Una Herramienta Metodológica De Evaluación Didáctica
This study focuses on the analysis of musical creativity as a capacity of self didactics favoring the development of the autonomy of the student in Primary education. Our goal is to design and develop a tool of evaluation of the musical knowledge of the student in creative practice that serves as the basis for the orientation of the educational process. To do this, we carry out an ethnographic research with a class group of 26 pupils of fourth of Primary school who performed sixty creative tasks during two school years. The results obtained from the analysis of the works of children have shown that systematic creative activity stimulates musical thinking, hearing, musicalverbal expression and critical analysis and provides the student a greater confidence and security in the undertaking of new challenges. At the end of the study, analysis of productions has improved the design of a methodological tool capable of analyzing the musical knowledge of the student in a creative educational process
Exploring the neural correlates of e-Assurance and multi-faced risk in e-Commerce
Despite the relative ease in which vendors enter this marketplace, the strongest difficulty is to decrease barriers which discourage online purchases. One of the most useful ways to increase consumer online trust and reduce perceived risk is creating trust mechanisms in web sites, such as seals of approval, consumer ratings and privacy policies. Specifically, this study applies a neuroscientific tool (functional magnetic resonance imaging- fMRI-) together with questionnaires with the aim to clear up the neural processing of those trust signals (e-assurances). Furthermore, using fMRI, we explore the “under-debated” dimensionality of perceived risk. The findings will advise online retailers with the most useful e-assurance to include in their websites as well as will specify the dimensions of perceived risk
Dietary legumes, intestinal microbiota, inflammation and colorectal cancer
Colorectal cancer is a worldwide disease with major clinical and economic impact, and its occurrence is determined by a variety of factors. In addition to its hereditary component, it is also known to be associated with various inflammatory processes, epigenetic alterations or modifications of the intestinal microbiota. The alimentary habits are crucial in the conformation of gut microbiota. The Mediterranean diet is widely recognized for its health benefits and has been associated with a lower risk of colon cancer. On the other hand, inflammation is a process commonly associated with cancer, and the intestinal microbiota interacts with the host to maintain normal function and health, particularly in processes of immunity and defense. Here, we are focusing in particular on two groups of substances (fibre, protein fractions) present in legumes whose mechanisms of action to prevent colon cancer or inflammation are likely to be mediated by the intestinal microbiota functional composition. This work was carried out with financial support from the Spanish “Plan Estatal de I+D+I of MICIIN” (PET2008-0311, SAF2011-29648 and AGL2017-83772-R), and has been also partially supported by the FEDER and FSE funds from the European Union
A Vector Based, Content Analytic Methodology for Comparing Negotiated IT Service Level Agreements
Growth in the outsourcing of IT services has led many organizations to enter into negotiated contractual agreements with both internal and external service providers known as information technology service level agreements (IT SLAs). To further empirical research into IT SLAs, we present a methodological approach based on the theory of conceptual spaces that allows the content of these negotiated agreements to be analyzed and compared geometrically using vector representation. The outcome of such an analysis is a set of distance measures by which defensible statements regarding the similarity of IT SLAs can be made. We also discuss how the comparisons provide insights for IT SLA negotiation researchers that go beyond alternate empirical and analytic methods. The implications of these comparisons are discussed with a specific focus on research methods that can foster cumulative empirical investigation of IT SLA negotiation support system requirements
Trying to integrate the knowledge that students acquire at schools into the outside world is not always an easy task. In this work, it is presented the experience carried out by two teachers of Secondary School of Seville, highlighting the educational possibilities that the media, and in particular the press, offers for the study of the demography, a science that also takes part in two disciplines, such as Mathematics and Geography

Evaluating the neural mechanisms of exposure and retrieval of hedonic and utilitarian banners: A fMRI study
This study was supported by two Excellence Project awarded by the Junta de Andalusia through FEDER [REF: B-SEJ-220-UGR18 and A-SEJ-426-UGR20] , a grant from the Fundacion Ramon Areces [CISP18A6208] and a grant from the Plan of the Vice-rectorate of Research of the UGR [Program 20, application 82] . Funding for open access charge: Universidad de Granada/CBUATraditional psychological theories of message persuasion typically conclude that messages that are able to
facilitate an optimal allocation of cognitive resources in the audience will increase memory encoding, will be
better retrieved and recalled, and will likely be more persuasive. The growing competition in online advertising
has led to a need to evaluate which type of banners are able to allocate cognitive resources more efficiently, as
this has a positive impact on the ability to remember the banner and potentially increase the purchase frequency
of the advertised product. By means of functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), this study provides the
first evidence of neural differences during the exposure and reimagination of two widely used banner appeals;
namely, hedonic (i.e., banners that vividly emphasize the social, personal, and experiential benefits of buying the
product) and utilitarian (i.e., banners focused on informative, convenient, and functional arguments). Our
findings reveal that, when compared to utilitarian banners, hedonic static advertisements engage stronger
neurocognitive processes, which translate into higher brain activations related to memory encoding and
retrieval, ultimately correlating to higher recall. These findings advise the design of static and hedonic banners to
improve the ad recall.Junta de Andalusia through FEDER B-SEJ-220-UGR18Fundacion Ramon Areces CISP18A6208Plan of the Vice-rectorate of Research of the UGR 82
