    PEAT WATER TREATMENT INTO CLEAN WATER USING COMPOSITE CERAMIC MEMBRANE NANOFILTRATION TECHNOLOGY

    The provision of clean water is an urgent need that must be realized in order to solve the problems that continue to be faced by people living on peatlands. The purpose of this research is to process peat water into clean water using nanofiltration method by ceramic membrane based on clay, activated carbon nanoparticles of Oil Palm Empty Fruits Bunch (OPEFB) as an additive and iron powder as a reinforcement. Peat water is first neutralized by addition of quicklime then processed through various microfiltration methods with sponges with pore sizes, namely 0.5 µm, 0.3 µm 0.1 µm and activated carbon and finally processed through ceramic membranes made from OPEB activated carbon nanoparticle additives. The pressure is set at 1 bar, 1.5 bar and 2 bar. The raw material for peat water from the Telang River is acidic with a pH value of 4.1 and contains TSS 147.5 mg/L, Fe 0.33 mg/L, Mn 0.56 mg/L, Zn 0.02 mg/L, NH3- N 0.58 mg/L, NO2-0.19 mg/L, PO4-3 0.264 mg/L, and BOD5 12.1 mg/L. It was found that, the greater the transmembrane pressure difference and the longer the operating time used, the better the permeate yield. The difference in pressure of 2 bar gives the best results in reducing the levels of contaminants contained in peat water with an average percent rejection reduction of TSS 91.89%, Fe 70%, Mn 93.2%, Zn 95%, NH3-N 68, 6%, NO2- 70%, PO4-3 38.14%, and BOD5 91.99%

    Adanya wabah Corona Virus Disease (Covid-19) yang menyebar di Indonesia sejak Maret 2020 memberikan dampak penurunan omzet pada Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah di seluruh Indonesia, termasuk Zona Kopi yang berada di Kecamatan Pelaihari, Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Zona Kopi yang relatif dekat dari Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut, yakni 6,7 km membuat tim pengabdian berinisiatif untuk menjadikan Zona Kopi sebagai mitra pengabdian dalam rangka membantu untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang terjadi akibat Covid-19. Tim pengabdian yang merupakan gabungan dari dosen Program Studi Teknologi Informasi dan Program Studi Teknologi Otomotif Politeknik Negeri Tanah Laut mengusulkan pembuatan sistem informasi pemesanan berbasis web dan alat FB-HECOOL yang dapat membantu mempertahankan suhu makanan dan minuman ketika dalam proses pengantaran. Setelah tim menyelesaikan pembuatan sistem informasi pemesanan dan alat FB-HECOOL, tim pengabdian melakukan kegiatan pelatihan tata cara penggunaannya kepada pemilik dan karyawan Zona Kopi sehingga peserta dapat mempunyai kemampuan untuk mengoperasikannya. Sistem informasi pemesanan dan alat FB-HECOOL ini selanjutnya dihibahkan kepada Zona Kopi. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini semua peserta dapat menggunakan sistem informasi pemesanan dan alat FB-HECOOL sehingga sistem dan alat yang dihibahkan dapat digunakan secara optimal

    I am mismatched, I am doing well: horizontal job-education mismatches and workers’ Well-being

    Objectives: This study examines whether psychological empowerment plays a role in job crafting and employee well-being for workers who face horizontal educational mismatches. A horizontal educational mismatch could be defined as a mismatch between the field of education and current occupation. This study shows that horizontal educational mismatches which are increasingly commonplace in society, especially in Indonesia, may affect the well-being of workers. Employee well-being describes the overall well-being of employees, such as physical, psychological, and individual aspects. Methods: The study’s respondents are 361 Indonesian workers with horizontal educational mismatches. The study’s tools are employee well-being scale (EWBS), job crafting questionnaire (JCQ), and psychological empowerment questionnaire (PEQ). The measuring tools were adapted into the Indonesian language, and data was analyzed by Andrew F. Hayes’s simple regression mediation model no.4 PROCESS v4.0. Results: The study reveals that psychological empowerment facilitates job crafting and employee well-being for workers with horizontal educational mismatches. It also shows that employees who are psychologically empowered are those who are supported in taking responsibility for enhancing their performance and their contribution to the organization. As a result of the increased demand for productivity, employees must enhance their skills and knowledge to achieve higher job demands instead of simply establishing opportunities for wellbeing and self-development. That is, workers are given the abilities and resources required to compensate for the shortages caused by the horizontal educational mismatch they face.     ABSTRACTDental health education is a learning process aimed at individuals and community groups to achieve the highest degree of community dental health. The problem is that blind children need the right media to increase knowledge of dental and oral health. Blind children use the sense of touch and hearing as a substitute for the sense of sight in the learning process. The purpose of the study was to see the level of knowledge on how to maintain oral hygiene in blind children with counseling using audio media andleaflet media braille. This study uses an interventional analytic design with research subjects 24 blind children at SLB N Semarang using audio media andleaflet media braille. The data that has been obtained were analyzed using thestatistical Wilcoxon Test and Mann Whitneytests. Statistical test with Wilcoxon Test showed a significant difference withvalue p 0.003 between before and after counseling with audio media and there was a significant difference p 0.002 between before and after counseling withleaflet media braille. The Mann Whitney Test was used to see the level of knowledge of the two media, in this study showed a difference in the level of knowledge with avalue of p 0.001 between the counseling group with audio media andleaflet media braille. According to the results of the, it can be concluded that there is a difference in the level of knowledge on how to maintain oral and dental hygiene in blind children, where audio media counseling increases their knowledge more thanleaflet media counseling braille

Blind children take advantage of the sense of touch and hearing as asubstitute for the sense of sight in the learning process. The purpose of research isto see the level of knowledge of how the maintenance of oral hygiene in blindchildren with education using audio media and leaflet braille media.This study design using interventional analytic sample were 24 childrenwith visual impairment in SLB N Semarang using audio media and media leafletbraille. Each group was given individual counseling media, namely audio mediaand media leaflet braille. Before the students were given about counseling, pretestthen given counseling. After being given counseling students were given theposttest.The data have been analyzed using statistical test of Wilcoxon Test andMann Whitney Test.Statistical test with Wilcoxon Test showed a significant difference with pvalueof 0.003 between before and after counseling counseling with audio mediaand there is a significant difference p-value of 0.002 before and after counselingwith counseling leaflet braille media.     This study aims to determine the leading commodities in Kulon Progo Regency and provide directions for the development of food crop commodities in Kulon Progo Regency. This analysis is carried out by comparing food crop commodity data at the sub-district level with food crop commodity data at the district level. This research is based on data taken from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) with a period of 2012-2021. The analytical tools used in this research are Location Quotient, Shift Share, Klasen Typology dan Scalogram.     Pendidikan kesehatan gigi adalah proses belajar yang ditujukan kepada individu dan kelompokmasyarakat untuk mencapai derajat kesehatan gigi masyarakat yang setinggi-tingginya. Anak tunanetramembutuhkan media yang tepat untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Anak tunanetramemanfaatkan indra peraba dan pendengaran sebagai pengganti indra penglihatan dalam prosespembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk melihat tingkat pengetahuan cara pemeliharaan kebersihan gigidan mulut pada anak tunanetra dengan penyuluhan menggunakan media audio dan media leaflet braille.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain analitik intervensional dengan subyek penelitian 24 anak tunanetradi SLB N Semarang menggunakan media audio dan media leaflet braille. Setiap kelompok diberi masingmasing media penyuluhan, yaitu media audio dan media leaflet braille. Sebelum dilakukan penyuluhan siswadiberikan soal pretest, kemudian diberikan penyuluhan. Setelah diberikan penyuluhan siswa diberikan posttest.Data yang telah diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan Wilcoxon Test dan Mann Whitney Test.Uji statistik dengan Wilcoxon Test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang bermakna dengan nilai p0,003 antara sebelum penyuluhan dan sesudah penyuluhan dengan media audio. Terdapat perbedaan yangbermakna p 0,002 antara sebelum penyuluhan dan sesudah penyuluhan dengan media leaflet braille. Padapenelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan dengan nilai p 0,001 antara kelompokpenyuluhan dengan media audio dan media leaflet braille. Sesuai hasil uji Mann Whitney Test dapatdisimpulkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan cara pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut pada anak tunanetradimana penyuluhan media audio lebih meningkat pengetahuannya dibandingkan penyuluhan media leafletbraille6 p

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan mengenai tanggung jawab PT. Grab bagi konsumen yang dirugikan terhadap layanan tranportasi menurut Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen dan untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan mengenai implementasi Tanggung jawab perusahaan PT. Grab dalam layanan tranportasi menurut Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode penelitian hukum normatif, dalam penelitian ini data yang digunakan ialah data primer, sekunder, dan tersier. Kemudian data dianalisis secara yuridis kualitatif dengan cara berpikir sistematis dan autentik. Dari hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Tanggung jawab yang dilakukan oleh PT. Grab terhadap Konsumen yang dirugikan dapat dilihat dari jenis peristiwa yang dilakukan oleh pengemudi daring kepada konsumen, yang merupakan suatu perbuatan melawan hukum akan dikenakan sanksi sebagaimana telah tertera dalam kode etik Pengemudi Grab nomor 60.1. dan penyelesaian tersebut diserakan kepada penegak hukum sebagaimana diatur dalam peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. (2) Bentuk pertanggungjawaban terhadap PT. Grab, pihak perusahaan telah memfasilitasi layanan pengaduan yang terdapat dalam aplikasi daring yaitu pusat bantuan. Dengan adanya pengaduan dari konsumen maka PT. Grab akan menindaklanjuti adanya pengaduan tersebut. Sesuai dengan asas keamanan dan keselamatan konsumen, Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 memberikan jaminan atas keamanan dan keselamatan kepada konsumen dalam penggunaan jasa angukatan darat berbasing daring yang digunakan.     Kurnia's Web-Based Drill Method Can Measure the Level of Toothbrushing Skills of Blind Children

    Background: Blind children have limited vision so that the health of the oral cavity is lower than that of children with normal vision. To improve the dental and oral health of blind children, a change in skills is needed. Choosing the right method of delivering educational material is very helpful in changing target skills. Kurnia's Web-based Drill method with audio modification can be an innovation in providing dental and oral health education. Where audio media that relies on sound can help optimize the sense of hearing that is still functioning so that the message conveyed can be easily remembered and understood by blind children.Research Objective: Build a web-based model of Kurnia's Drill method to improve toothbrushing skills in blind children.Methods: Research and Development (RD) and model testing (Quasi-Experimental Control Group Pretest and Posttest Design studies). The research subjects of blind children were divided into 2 groups, namely intervention and control. The results of the model design are validated by experts. The data were tested using intraclass, paired t-test and independent t-test correlation coefficients.Results: Kurnia's Drill web-based method is feasible as an educational model for dental health maintenance in blind children (p= 0.000). The implementation of this model effectively improved the brushing skills of blind children (p= 0.047) and decreased the debris index of blind children (p= 0.000) compared to the control group.Conclusion: Kurnia's Drill web-based method effectively improves brushing skills and decreases debris index in visually impaired children.
