    THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE USE OF GAMES AND STUDENT LEARNING MOTIVATION AT SMAN 2 SIDOARJO

    High school students today are in a time when someone is experiencing changes within themselves. During the transition to adulthood, students are influenced by external factors that can lead them to be swayed by their environment, such as playing games. Students who have a high intensity of playing games may trigger a decrease in their learning moti-vation. The decrease in learning motivation among high school students is caused by several factors, including issues at school and relationships with parents and peers. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between game usage and learning motivation among stu-dents at SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo. This research is a non-experimental quantitative study, with a correlational research design using a cross-sectional approach. The respondents of the study consisted of 130 stu-dents from SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo, selected using purposive sampling technique. The data collection method used was a questionnaire. The analysis method used was Kendall's tau. The research results indicate that there is a relationship between game usage and learning motivation among students at SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarjo. The analysis results using the Kendall's tau test showed a p-value = 0.000, which means p-value < 0.05. The correlation coefficient value or r-value = -743 indicates a strong negative correlation, meaning that the higher the game usage, the lower the learning motivation among students. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between game usage and learning motivation among students at SMA Negeri 2 Sidoarj

    ANALISIS SENTIMEN TWITTER TERHADAP KONFLIK DI PAPUA MENGGUNAKAN PERBANDINGAN NAIVE BAYES DAN SVM

    Konflik di Papua merupakan isu yang kompleks dan telah berlangsung selama beberapa dekade, melibatkan berbagai faktor seperti politik, ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya. Ketegangan antara pemerintah Indonesia dan kelompok separatis Papua sering kali memicu konflik bersenjata, pelanggaran hak asasi manusia, dan ketidakstabilan regional. Konflik ini juga menarik perhatian berbagai pihak, termasuk masyarakat internasional dan pengguna media sosial, khususnya di platform Twitter.Data yang dikumpulkan dari Twitter menggunakan kata kunci terkait konflik Papua. Proses analisis meliputi tahap pengumpulan data, pra-pemrosesan teks, dan pelabelan sentimen (positif, negatif, netral). Penelitian ini menggunakan 5723 data yang diperoleh melalui teknik web scraping terkait topik tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membandingkan performa dua algoritma klasifikasi yang populer dalam analisis sentimen, yaitu Naïve Bayes dan Support Vector Machine (SVM). Sebelum perbandingan dilakukan, optimasi SMOTE (Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique) digunakan untuk menyeimbangkan jumlah data minoritas dan mayoritas, sehingga kedua algoritma dapat belajar secara lebih efektif dari setiap kelas sentimen. Hasil perbandingan menunjukkan bahwa algoritma Naïve Bayes memiliki akurasi sebesar 95%, sedangkan SVM mencapai akurasi 99%, dengan presisi 99%, recall 98%, dan F1-Score 99%. Evaluasi performa dilakukan dengan menganalisis confusion matrix dari setiap algoritma. Kesimpulannya, SVM dapat menjadi pilihan yang lebih baik untuk analisis sentimen mengenai konflik Papua.     PT Persada Data Multimedia is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) company that focuses on dedicated network management. Operating in Laren District, Lamongan Regency, PT Persada Data Multimedia expands its services and supports the development of information technology in East Java, including Baron Village, Gresik Regency. In Baron Village, PT Persada Data Multimedia serves about 90 customers. Along with the increase in the number of customers, the complexity of network traffic increases, so effective and efficient network management is required. The use of proper bandwidth management is very necessary, one of which is often used, namely the HTB (Hierarchical Token Bucket) and PCQ (Per Connection Queue) methods. Quality of Service (QoS) is used as a benchmark to define the characteristics of a network service related to the quality of the service by calculating the value of QoS parameters, namely: throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter. The purpose of this research is to determine the QoS value generated by integrating both HTB and PCQ methods adaptively based on the bandwidth distributed in Baron Village, Gresik Regency. Based on the tests that have been carried out, the QoS analysis results indicate that integrating the HTB and PCQ methods produces satisfactory results, with an index value of 3.375 increasing from the previous value of 3.5 with a value difference of 0.125. This result is based on the average results of test results on 4 QoS parameters: throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter

    Teknik penyisipan watermark telah banyak digunakan untuk melindungi hak cipta, proses authentikasi maupun tamper detection. Terdapat dua jenis watermark berdasarkan tingkat persepsi visualnya, yakni visible watermark dan invisible watermark. Tantangan terbesar dari invisible watermark adalah mempertahankan tingkat imperceptibility namun tetap menjamin keamanan watermark dari berbagai serangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan skema watermarking citra warna yang memiliki imperceptibility yang tinggi pada basis DCT DWT. Metode DWT dikenal memilki performa yang baik dalam invisible watermark. Untuk itu Chanel blue dipilih sebagai area penyisipan watermark karena mata manusia kurang sensitive terhadap warna ini.  Untuk meningkatkan keamanan, skema yang diusulkan menggunakan transformasi Arnold untuk mengacak watermark. Skema watermark yang diusulkan dapat menghasilkan imperceptibility yang cukup tinggi, yakni dengan nilai PSNR sebesar 43.786 dB. Nilai NC yang dihasilkan dalam skema ini sebesar 0.985 menunjukkan bahwa skema watermark mampu bertahan dari beberapa serangan. Akan tetapi skema ini kurang tahan terhadap serangan salt pepper serta cropping

    Prediction of Stunting Nutritional Status in Toddlers Using Naïve Bayes Classifier Algorithm

    Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem in toddlers that affects children's physical growth and cognitive development. Early identification and prediction of toddlers' nutritional status are crucial for timely intervention. This study aims to predict the nutritional status of stunting in toddlers using the Naïve Bayes Classifier algorithm. The data used in this study is derived from community health surveys with variables such as age, weight, height, and parental nutritional status. The research process began with data collection and pre-processing to ensure high-quality data. Subsequently, the data was trained using the Naïve Bayes Classifier algorithm, known for its simplicity and efficiency in data classification. Prediction results were then evaluated using metrics of accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score to measure the model's performance. The study results indicate that the Naïve Bayes Classifier algorithm has high accuracy in predicting stunting status in toddlers, with an accuracy rate of 85%. Precision and recall also showed satisfactory results, at 82% and 87%, respectively. This model can be used as a tool for health workers to identify toddlers at risk of stunting, enabling earlier preventive measures. In conclusion, the use of the Naïve Bayes Classifier algorithm is proven effective in predicting the nutritional status of stunting in toddlers. The implementation of this model is expected to support child health programs and accelerate the reduction of stunting prevalence in the community

    ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN NUMERASI SISWA SMPN 18 SAMARINDA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL AKM BERDASARKAN GAYA KOGNITIF

    The study aimed to describe the numeracy skills of SMPN 18 Samarinda students in working on AKM (Minimum Competency Assessment) questions based on FI (Field Independent) and FD (Field Dependent) cognitive styles. The study used qualitative research methods. The subjects were 30 students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 18 Samarinda, while the object of the study was the students' numeracy skills in solving AKM questions based on cognitive styles. The data collection techniques used included tests and interviews. The data analysis technique was conducted descriptively by determining the average score of the AKM test results. The results indicated that at the cognitive level of understanding, students with FI and FD cognitive styles were able to calculate and solve cognitive questions. At the cognitive level of application, students with FI and FD cognitive styles were able to apply and choose strategies for solving AKM questions. At the cognitive level of reasoning, students with FI cognitive style were able to present and evaluate in solving cognitive questions, while students with FD cognitive style were only able to present. Suggestions for future research using different materials or referring to this study as a consideration for improving learning

    This research aims to examine the development of an e-commerce technology-based business for red ginger products by the Alam Bumi Al-Quran Islamic Boarding School on the Shopee platform. The research method used is a qualitative approach using interviews, observation and document analysis. The research results show that utilizing Shopee features, such as product descriptions, quality photos, discount vouchers and flash sales, is effective in increasing product visibility and building consumer trust, which is reflected in positive reviews and customer satisfaction. Islamic boarding schools also integrate halal principles in product production and distribution, which is an added value compared to competitors. The marketing strategy involves collaborating with local communities, using Shopee's analytical features to adjust promotions, and utilizing social media to increase sales conversions. The active role of students in managing online stores is also a key success factor. The impact of e-commerce on the economic independence of Islamic boarding schools can be seen from the increase in sales volume which supports Islamic boarding school operations and provides practical experience for students in managing digital businesses. Despite facing challenges related to resistance to modernization, limited digital literacy, and technical obstacles, Islamic boarding schools overcome these with intensive training and the development of appropriate guidelines. This research provides insight for other Islamic boarding schools in adopting digital technology to support economic independence without ignoring religious (Islamic) values

    DEVELOPING OF A WEBSITE-BASED INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR DASA WISMA TO REALIZE THE HEALTHY INDONESIA PROGRAM WITH FAMILY APPROACH (PIS-PK)

    Dasa Wisma is a group of mothers consisting of 10 to 20 households in an urban village that holds important positions in the Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) program to assist the community in considering family health. The Indonesian government has implemented various programs to provide healthcare for Indonesian people, one of which is the Healthy Indonesia Program with a Family Approach (PIS-PK). In Rancabolang Urban Village, the management of citizen data is still manual, which can hinder the performance of dasa wisma, making it ineffective and inefficient. This research aims to develop a website-based information system to assist dasa wisma in managing data, collecting recapitulated data, and exchanging information. The specifications of the information system are determined based on the Ministerial Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No. 39 Year 2016 and interviews. The system is tested using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that the website works successfully. The User Acceptance Test conducted with users obtained a result of 90% (very good), demonstrating that the website functions according to user requirements. Testing using Wireshark to capture the average network traffic delay with the ITU-T G.1010 Quality of Service (QoS) standardization showed that the SIDALA website received a result of 1.06 seconds/page, which complied with the standard. The development of a website-based family health information system can increase the efficiency and effectiveness of health services, as well as facilitate reporting to related parties

    Bangunan bersejarah terdiri dari kata "bangunan" sebagai tempat untuk berbagai kegiatan dan "bersejarah" sebagai sesuatu yang memiliki nilai-nilai sejarah. Ini meliputi nilai-nilai seperti identitas budaya, kemajuan teknologi, dan aspek estetika yang diwakili oleh bangunan tersebut. Kawasan Surabaya Raya, yang mencakup Kota Surabaya, Kabupaten Gresik, dan Kabupaten Sidoarjo di Jawa Timur, merupakan salah satu kawasan urban terbesar di Indonesia. Kawasan ini menjadi jantung di wilayah Jawa Timur. Kawasan Surabaya Raya kaya bangunan bersejarah seperti Tugu Pahlawan, Candi Pamotan, dan Menara Garling. Berdasarkan penggunaan teknologi yang kian berkembang, serta kebanyakan sistem pembelajaran tentang pengenalan bangunan bersejarah hanya berbasis teori, aplikasi penelitian ini akan memperkenalkan salah satu solusi yang akan menyajikan objek 3D dari beberapa bangunan bersejarah di Surabaya Raya melalui smartphone dan VR Cardboard. Dengan mengakses aplikasi ini, pengguna dapat mengambil tur virtual untuk melihat bangunan bersejarah tersebut. Tujuan utama aplikasi ini adalah untuk memberikan kemudahan akses kepada masyarakat dalam mempelajari bangunan bersejarah tersebut. Pendekatan ini dianggap menarik oleh masyarakat, dengan 87,5% responden menyatakan bahwa aplikasi tersebut informatif dan menarik berdasarkan hasil survei

    PENGARUH PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN RME TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VIII SMP

    The ability to answer mathematical issues gave pupils the chance to use it to overcome obstacles in everyday life as well as in the fields of mathematics and other sciences. A method known as Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) connected mathematical difficulties to pertinent real-world concerns. The purpose of this study was to ascertain whether the RME approach had an impact on the eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 03 in Bengkulu City's capacity to solve mathematical problems. A quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group was the study methodology employed. The treatment (X) or learning with the RME approach was applied to the first group, while the other group received conventional learning or no treatment. The sample was chosen using the purposive sampling technique. The study's findings demonstrated that the use of the RME approach affected the students' capacity to solve mathematical problems, as evidenced by a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001 significance level (α) = 0.05 based on the independent sample t-test statistical test on the two sample classes. Additionally, the average N-Gain score obtained was 0.40, which was classified as a "moderate" increase in understanding. Thus, it could be concluded that the use of the RME approach had a positive impact on the improvement of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities
