From middle of the nineties, in Europe we can see the consolidation of what seems to be a new philosophy and its consistent practice, in relation to facing the problematics of the social question of our time. The high unemployment rates of the beginning of the eighties which later maintained high, weren't analyzed anymore as a conjuntural problem, but being seen as of a structural character. For this reason, politician administrative officer have led to the point to solve the questions of unemployment and social exclusion. The European Strategy of the Employment, well-established and spread by the European Commission between the member states, seems to be the central instrument of this new approach. Sustaining the force of its philosophy and of its forms of intervention in the application of active policies of employment, that were created in the context of the Swedish labour economy to solve problems of frictional unemployment, the active policies are now at the center of the contemporary social action. They suppose a change in the forms of intervention of the Keynesian Welfare State, and focus on the construction of new representations of the perspectives ofunemployment and social exclusion
Vehicle pose estimation using G-Net: multi-class localization and depth estimation
In this paper we present a new network architecture, called G-Net, for 3D pose estimation on RGB images which is trained in a weakly supervised manner. We introduce a two step pipeline based on region-based Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for feature localization, bounding box refinement based on non-maximum-suppression and depth estimation. The G-Net is able to estimate the depth from single monocular images with a self-tuned loss function. The combination of this predicted depth and the presented two-step localization allows the extraction of the 3D pose of the object. We show in experiments that our method achieves good results compared to other state-of-the-art approaches which are trained in a fully supervised manner.Peer ReviewedPostprint (author's final draft
In spice of its late formation, the Company of Jesus managed to amass an important rural patrimony in Spain, more notable for its quality than for its area. In contrast with other religious orders, for whom donations were dominât, purchases played a very important role in the formation of this patrimony. The exploitation of this rural domain, in which direct management was the norm,
was oriented primarily towards the commercialisation of production and less towards consumption by the religious community itself. Therefore, management was dictated principally by criteria of economic profitability. Finally, after the Jesuit's expulsion from. Spain in 1767, their properties were seized by the state and subsequently put up for public auction in a process that anticipates the ecclesiastical demortization of the nineteenth centur
In the largest estates of Lower Andalusia, livestock farming played a role as
important as arable agriculture. In these kinds of estates, livestock farming was
closely bound to agriculture, supplying the latter with employment, fertiliser, and
cash. At the same time, cattle farming made use of fallow land and of the remnants
of the harvests. Due to this link, the figures of the great cattle-owner and the great
agriculturalist were blended together into that of the big farmer in charge of his
estates. Such a farmer profited from his economic and social status, imposing his
authority on the town councils, so as to incline to his own benefit the exploitation of
collective rural spaces in which livestock were fed during most of the yea
