Demonstration of the double Q^2-rescaling model

In this paper we have demonstrated the double Q^2-rescaling model (DQ^2RM) of parton distribution functions of nucleon bounded in nucleus. With different x-region of l-A deep inelastic scattering process we take different approach: in high x-region (0.1\le x\le 0.7) we use the distorted QCD vacuum model which resulted from topologically multi -connected domain vacuum structure of nucleus; in low x-region (10^{-4}\le x\le10^{-3}) we adopt the Glauber (Mueller) multi- scattering formula for gluon coherently rescattering in nucleus. From these two approach we justified the rescaling parton distribution functions in bound nucleon are in agreement well with those we got from DQ^2RM, thus the validity for this phenomenologically model are demonstrated.Comment: 19 page, RevTex, 5 figures in postscrip

Using an oilseed rape x wild/weedy relative gene flow index for the monitoring of transgenic oilseed rape

    Get PDF
To estimate the introgressive hybridisation propensity (IHP) between transgenic oilseed rape and certain of its cross-compatible wild/weedy relatives at the landscape level, a conceptual approach was developed. A questionnaire was established enclosing the successive steps to successfully achieve introgressive hybridisation. Each step was described and scored, resulting in an IHP value for each cross-compatible wild/weedy relative. This approach revealed that in Flanders (Belgium) Brassica rapa has the highest IHP value, followed by Hirschfeldia incana, Diplotaxis tenuifolia, Raphanus raphanistrum and Sinapis arvensis. Using these values, monitoring priorities can be defined within the pool of cross-compatible wild/weedy oilseed rape relatives. It is discussed how the numerical quantification may serve as a valuable tool in case-specific monitoring and general surveillance of transgenic oilseed rape

The purpose of this study was to analyze the content of scientific literacy that included four interrelated aspects. They are aspects of contexts, competencies, knowledge, and attitudes in high school Biology textbooks for 10th grade. Analysis of Biology textbooks is necessary because most of the high school Biology teachers use textbook as a learning tool in the classroom reference. The method used in this study is descriptive documentation by content analysis is to collect and analyze the content of textbooks are observed without giving any treatment on two Biology textbooks for 10th grade, the curriculum books 2006/KTSP and curriculum book in 2013 (book X and Y). The discussion focused on the explanation of scientific literacy component based framework adapted from the draft PISA 2015 consist of four interrelated aspects are the aspect of context, competencies, knowledge, and attitudes. Data analysis using descriptive statistics to calculate frequencies and percentages presented in tables and diagram of the result of the content analysis of Biology textbooks. The result showed that the aspect of knowledge is the most emphasized aspect of the book (book X = 79%; book Y = 85%), especially knowledge of the content (X = 86%; Y = 82%). While aspects of the least appear are aspects of attitudes (X = 3%; Y = 2%). In the aspect of context, the global scope is the scope of most emerge in the biology textbooks (X = 36%; Y = 42%), with the main discussion about natural resources (X = 62%; Y = 49%). Overall, these findings raise the concerns about disproportionate Biology textbooks to educate scientifically literate students. Keywords: analysis of textbook, scientific literacy, aspect of contexts, aspect of competencies, aspect of knowledge, aspect of attitudes

An Integro-Differential Equation of the Fractional Form: Cauchy Problem and Solution

Producción CientíficaWe solve the Cauchy problem defined by the fractional partial differential equation [∂tt − κD]u = 0, with D the pseudo-differential Riesz operator of first order, and certain initial conditions. The solution of the Cauchy problem resulting from the substitution of the Gaussian pulse u(x, 0) by the Dirac delta distribution ϕ(x) = μδ(x) is obtained as corollary.MINECO grant MTM2014-57129-C2-1-P

Current algebra based effective chiral theory of mesons and a new EW theory

A current algebra based effective chiral theory of pseudoscalar, vector, axial-vector mesons is reviewed. A new mechanism generating the masses and guage fixing terms of gauge boson is revealed from this effective theory. A EW theory without Higgs is proposed. The masses and gauge fixing terms of W and Z are dynamically generated. Three heavy scalar fields are dynamically generated too. They are ghosts.Comment: 4 pages, talk presented at conference of QCD and hadronic physics, 6/16-6/21, Beijing, Chin
