    Seni bela diri pencak silat merupakan salah satu budaya Indonesia dan juga merupakan saksi jalannya perjuangan rakyat Indonesia pada masa penjajahan. Karena merupakan seni bela diri tradisional yang berasal asli dari Nusantara dan merupakan bagian dari kebudayaan bangsa Indonesia yang berkembang sejalan dengan sejarah masyarakat, maka Seni bela diri ini perlu dilestarikan. Untuk itu dibuatlah proses konsep desain Pusat Seni Bela Diri Pencak Silat di Surabaya. Sedangkan tema yang diambil adalah Arsitektur Tradisional Jawa. Metode yang di gunakan dalam proses desain ini adalah deskriptif. Adapun fasilitas yang disediakan yaitu fasilitas utama berupa fasilitas pelatihan, fasilitas gelanggang dan pagelaran, serta fasilitas pendukung berupa gedung pengelola, fasilitas wisma, fasilitas parkir, dan fasilitas servis. Hasil proses konsep desain adalah terbentuknya makro konsep yaitu representatif. Sedangkan mikro konsep bentuknya yaitu Representatif, mikro konsep ruang yaitu Fungsional, dan mikro konsep tatanan lahan yaitu Efektif.

    Corruption, Growth, and FDI Spillovers: Evidence from Emerging Market Economies

    Countries with substantial increases in economic growth and similar characteristics to developed countries are usually referred to as emerging markets. The problem faced by emerging market countries is the need for more capital investment into the country so that domestic savings are added through efforts to find buy and imports. This study looks at the effect of economic growth, trade openness, control of corruption, and regulatory quality on FDI, specifically in developing countries. The analysis method used the Generalised Method of Moments panel. The data used from 2014-2021 with the analysis areas of Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand. The results showed that the economic growth variable had a positive and significant effect on FDI, the trade openness variable had a negative and significant effect on FDI, the control of cor-ruption variable had a negative and significant effect on FDI, and the regulatory quality variable had a positive and significant effect on FDI in ASEAN emerging market countries.     Entrepreneurial Potential: An Exploratory Study Of A Community In Johor

    Two frequently cited personal traits associated with entrepreneurial potential are internal locus of control and innovativeness. This paper hypothesizes that internal locus of control and innovativeness is sufficient to explain entrepreneurial potential. This hypothesis was tested on a set of 124 responses to a survey did to a community in Johor. Eighteen items in the survey instrument were used to construct scales for innovativeness and locus of control. Items for the innovativeness scale were adapted from the Jackson Personality Inventory while items used for the locus of control scale were adapted from Rotter’s I-E scale. The results found an increased likelihood of an internal locus of control and innovativeness that support entrepreneurial orientation. To be motivated to act, potential entrepreneurs must perceive themselves as capable and psychologically equipped to face the challenges.     Indonesia sedikit ketinggalan dalam mengeksplorasi keterkaitan antara satu karya seni dengan karya seni lainnya, begitu pun dengan seni pertunjukkan seperti Opera. Keterbatasan infrastruktur yang mendukung pertunjukan seni menjadi salah satu penyebabnya. Kota Surabaya dipilih karena kota ini adalah salah satu kota besar di Indonesia yang baik untuk mengenalkan hal-hal baru seperti itu. Penerapkan tema arsitektur Neo Klasik berperan dalam memberikan kesan yang megah dan semakin mendukung bentuk-bentuk khas yang seharusnya ada pada sebuah Gedung Opera. Dengan adanya Gedung Opera ini bertujuan menciptakan wadah bagi pekerja seni Opera khususnya Theater Musical yang berada di Kota Surabaya dan sekitarnya. Metode pengumpulan data diperoleh dari data primer yang diperoleh dari pengamatan secara langsung dengan orang-orang yang berkecimpung didalamnya dan data sekunder yang diperoleh tanpa pengamatan langsung tetapi menunjang proses kajian yang berkaitan dengan obyek studi data tersebut. Penerapan konsep tata lahan adalah simetrikal yang ditunjukkan dengan penataan lahan yang seimbang kanan dan kiri, konsep bentuk adalah mewah yang ditunjukkan dengan penggunaan skala yang besar, warna, kolom dan ornamen, serta konsep ruang adalah megah yang ditunjukkan dengan ruang yang memiliki langit-langit yang tinggi dan ruang yang bebas kolom

    Deteksi Citra X-Ray Paru-Paru Terinfeksi COVID-19 dengan Algoritma CNN berbasis Aplikasi Web

    Pada penelitian ini menggunakan algoritma Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) untuk mendeteksi COVID-19 berdasarkan citra X-ray Paru-paru. Arsitektur CNN yang digunakan adalah EfficientNetB7 dan Resnet152V2 dengan memanfaatkan teknik Transfer Learning. Penelitian ini berfokus pada membandingkan kinerja kedua model arsitektur dalam mengklasifikasikan citra X-ray Paru-paru terinfeksi COVID-19. Selanjutnya mengimplementasikan model CNN tersebut ke aplikasi deteksi Citra X-ray paru-paru berbasis web. Dari hasil evaluasi kedua model tersebut disimpulkan bahwa Resnet152-V2 mencapai kinerja lebih baik dibanding arsitektur CNN EfficientNetB7 dengan akurasi 97% sedangkan EfficientNetB7 dengan akurasi 95%

    Topology optimization for custom bed-resting ankle foot orthosis

    The ankle-foot orthosis (AFO) is a widely used aid for people who suffer from weakness of the dorsiflexion muscles of the ankle due to peripheral or central nervous system problems. Both conditions are caused by a lack of dorsiflexion assis-tance due to muscle weakness. The mobility of the surrounding joints is affected by the deformity and muscle weakness of a lower limb joint, so corrective measures are required. The aim of this study is, therefore, to observe the effects of a topology opti-mized AFO model on pressure distribution. The product was designed in Solidworks and subjected to finite element analysis using polylactic acid (PLA) to determine the maximum value of Von Mises stress (VMS) and displacement. The design is then optimized using a topology study to analyze the iteration of the component design that meets a specific optimized target and geometric constraints. The final product is expected to have the desired function of the AFO for bedridden patient

    Development of white bread fortified with calcium derived from eggshell powder

    Bread is commonly used mostly around the world which obtained from grains, legumes, tubers and other fortified ingredients. Eggshell makes up from 9-12% of the total egg weight that consists largely of calcium carbonate (94%) with some magnesium carbonate and calcium phosphate deposited in the organic matrix. The objectives of this study were to produce white bread fortified with calcium derived from the eggshell powder and to study the physicochemical changes, microbiological status and sensory evaluation of the product. The main analyses were done on specific volume, texture, colour, proximate analysis, calcium determination by ICP-MS and microbiological test for the determination of shelf life. Besides, acceptance test was also carried out. The result showed that increasing of the eggshell did not have any effect on the specific volume, springiness, cohesiveness and colour but affect the hardness of the bread. Furthermore, addition of the eggshell significantly increased (p<0.05) the moisture content, ash, fibre but decreased the carbohydrate. However, there were no significantly different between sample in terms of fat and protein. The bread with addition of eggshell have potential to be produced and accepted by the consumer especially the bread with fortification of 2% egg shell powder

    Abstract: Each region must have assets or potential that can be developed, including Mekar Sari Village, Gunungsari District, West Lombok Regency. One of the assets owned by the people of Mekar Sari Village is cassava and sugar palm plantations. Where the plantation products produce cassava roots and palm sugar. The management is still in the form of intact goods that have not been managed further with a very small selling value. Processed products from cassava roots and palm sugar are numerous and varied. The assistance that will be carried out in this community service activity is the development of processed products from superior raw materials into cassava chips, palm sugar pudding, and palm sugar briquettes. Assistance is provided starting from production, packaging, and marketing. Assistance is carried out on an ongoing basis until the resulting product has a high selling value. Pendampingan yang akan dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pengembangan olahan dari bahan baku unggulan menjadi produk keripik singkong, puding gula aren, dan gula aren briket.     Design and baseline characteristics of the finerenone in reducing cardiovascular mortality and morbidity in diabetic kidney disease trial

    Background: Among people with diabetes, those with kidney disease have exceptionally high rates of cardiovascular (CV) morbidity and mortality and progression of their underlying kidney disease. Finerenone is a novel, nonsteroidal, selective mineralocorticoid receptor antagonist that has shown to reduce albuminuria in type 2 diabetes (T2D) patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) while revealing only a low risk of hyperkalemia. However, the effect of finerenone on CV and renal outcomes has not yet been investigated in long-term trials. Patients and Methods: The Finerenone in Reducing CV Mortality and Morbidity in Diabetic Kidney Disease (FIGARO-DKD) trial aims to assess the efficacy and safety of finerenone compared to placebo at reducing clinically important CV and renal outcomes in T2D patients with CKD. FIGARO-DKD is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group, event-driven trial running in 47 countries with an expected duration of approximately 6 years. FIGARO-DKD randomized 7,437 patients with an estimated glomerular filtration rate >= 25 mL/min/1.73 m(2) and albuminuria (urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio >= 30 to <= 5,000 mg/g). The study has at least 90% power to detect a 20% reduction in the risk of the primary outcome (overall two-sided significance level alpha = 0.05), the composite of time to first occurrence of CV death, nonfatal myocardial infarction, nonfatal stroke, or hospitalization for heart failure. Conclusions: FIGARO-DKD will determine whether an optimally treated cohort of T2D patients with CKD at high risk of CV and renal events will experience cardiorenal benefits with the addition of finerenone to their treatment regimen.
