The manufacturing industry sector is a major driver of economic growth in Indonesia with the largest contribution to the components of Gross Domestic Product is 25.60 % in 2012. But the globalization and liberalization of International trade requires industries to be more competitive. Improving the competitiveness of the industry can be done through the development of regional-based industrial sector main industry that area. The purpose of this study was to analyze the competitiveness and industrial agglomeration, the causality relationship between competitiveness and agglomeration industry and the factors that influence agglomeration of province main industries. This study was using large and medium scale industry raw data. The data analysis using Location Quotient, Hoover Balassa Index, Granger Causality method and panel data method with Fixed Effect Model. The result of panel data regression shows factors that influence the agglomeration of province main industries are firm size, value added, the diversity of industry, industry competition index, competitiveness index, wages and road infastructure
Model order reduction approaches for infinite horizon optimal control problems via the HJB equation
We investigate feedback control for infinite horizon optimal control problems
for partial differential equations. The method is based on the coupling between
Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman (HJB) equations and model reduction techniques. It is
well-known that HJB equations suffer the so called curse of dimensionality and,
therefore, a reduction of the dimension of the system is mandatory. In this
report we focus on the infinite horizon optimal control problem with quadratic
cost functionals. We compare several model reduction methods such as Proper
Orthogonal Decomposition, Balanced Truncation and a new algebraic Riccati
equation based approach. Finally, we present numerical examples and discuss
several features of the different methods analyzing advantages and
disadvantages of the reduction methods

Equation of state for -stable hot nuclear matter
We provide an equation of state for hot nuclear matter in -equilibrium
by applying a momentum-dependent effective interaction. We focus on the study
of the equation of state of high-density and high-temperature nuclear matter,
containing leptons (electrons and muons) under the chemical equilibrium
condition in which neutrinos have left the system. The conditions of charge
neutrality and equilibrium under -decay process lead first to the
evaluation of proton and lepton fractions and afterwards of internal energy,
free energy, pressure and in total to the equation of state of hot nuclear
matter. Thermal effects on the properties and equation of state of nuclear
matter are assesed and analyzed in the framework of the proposed effective
interaction model. Special attention is dedicated to the study of the
contribution of the components of -stable nuclear matter to the entropy
per particle, a quantity of great interest for the study of structure and
collapse of supernova.Comment: 28 pages, 18 figure
Crystal Structures of a Plant Trypsin Inhibitor from Enterolobium contortisiliquum (EcTI) and of Its Complex with Bovine Trypsin
A serine protease inhibitor from Enterolobium contortisiliquum (EcTI) belongs to the Kunitz family of plant inhibitors, common in plant seeds. It was shown that EcTI inhibits the invasion of gastric cancer cells through alterations in integrin-dependent cell signaling pathway. We determined high-resolution crystal structures of free EcTI (at 1.75 angstrom) and complexed with bovine trypsin (at 2 angstrom). High quality of the resulting electron density maps and the redundancy of structural information indicated that the sequence of the crystallized isoform contained 176 residues and differed from the one published previously. the structure of the complex confirmed the standard inhibitory mechanism in which the reactive loop of the inhibitor is docked into trypsin active site with the side chains of Arg64 and Ile65 occupying the S1 and S1' pockets, respectively. the overall conformation of the reactive loop undergoes only minor adjustments upon binding to trypsin. Larger deviations are seen in the vicinity of Arg64, driven by the needs to satisfy specificity requirements. A comparison of the EcTI-trypsin complex with the complexes of related Kunitz inhibitors has shown that rigid body rotation of the inhibitors by as much as 15 degrees is required for accurate juxtaposition of the reactive loop with the active site while preserving its conformation. Modeling of the putative complexes of EcTI with several serine proteases and a comparison with equivalent models for other Kunitz inhibitors elucidated the structural basis for the fine differences in their specificity, providing tools that might allow modification of their potency towards the individual enzymes.United States Department of Energy, Office of Science, Office of Basic Energy SciencesCoordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES)Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico (CNPq)Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP)National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute, Center for Cancer ResearchNCI, Ctr Canc Res, Macromol Crystallog Lab, Frederick, MD 21701 USAUniversidade Federal de São Paulo, Dept Bioquim, São Paulo, BrazilInst Butantan, Lab Bioquim & Biofis, Unidade Sequenciamento Prot & Peptideos, São Paulo, BrazilUniversidade Federal de São Paulo, Dept Bioquim, São Paulo, BrazilUnited States Department of Energy, Office of Science, Office of Basic Energy Sciences: W-31-109-Eng-38FAPESP: 09/53766-5Web of Scienc
