Analisis Minat Belajar PJOK Siswa SMPN 13 Kota Jambi
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana minat siswa belajar teori Tenis Meja di SMPN 13 Kota Jambi. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif yaitu mendeskripsikan minat belajar siswa kelas VIII dalam mengikuti pembelajaran teori PJOK di SMP Negeri 13 Kota Jambi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Berdasarkan hasil perolehan perhitungan minat belajar siswa diatas maka analisis minat belajar siswa kelas VIII dalam mengikuti pembelajaran PJOK berada dalam kategori âRendahâ. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini dilihat berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh peneliti bahwa minat belajar teori mata pelajaran PJOK siswa SMPN 13 Kota Jambi berada dalam kategori rendah yaitu dengan persentase sebanyak 31,57%
Unidirectional heterologous receptor desensitization between both the fMLP and C5a receptor and the ILâ8 receptor
During inflammation neutrophils receive multiple signals that are integrated, allowing a single modified response. One mechanism for this discrimination is receptor desensitization, a process whereby ligandâreceptor binding is disassociated from cell activation. We examined the effect of heterologous receptor desensitization on neutrophil Chemotaxis, calcium mobilization, and arachidonic acid production, using interleukinâ8 (ILâ8), C5a, and Nâformylâmethionylâleucylâphenylalanine (fMLP). We observed reciprocal inhibition with respect to Chemotaxis. We demonstrated that homologous desensitization, with respect to the mobilization of intracellular calcium stores, lasted approximately 15 min. Heterologous desensitization between the fMLP receptor and the C5a receptor was reciprocal; either stimulant would diminish the cells9 response to stimulation by the other for approximately 3â5 min. However, we observed a unidirectional heterologous desensitization of the ILâ8 receptor by both the fMLP and the C5a receptor. This unidirectional heterologous desensitization was observed with respect to both calcium mobilization and arachidonic acid production (i.e., prestimulation of the ILâ8 receptor had no effect on subsequent stimulation by either fMLP or C5a).Peer Reviewedhttps://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/141009/1/jlb0088.pd
The paediatric Confusion Assessment Method for the Intensive Care Unit (pCAM-ICU): Translation and cognitive debriefing for the German-speaking area
Purpose: To date there are only a few studies published, dealing with delirium in critically ill patients. The problem with these studies is that prevalence rates of delirium could only be estimated because of the lack of validated delirium assessment tools for the paediatric intensive care unit (PICU). The paediatric Confusion Assessment Method for the Intensive Care Unit (pCAM-ICU) was specifically developed and validated for the detection of delirium in PICU patients. Fascicles and the interfascicular matrix show decreased fatigue life with ageing in energy storing tendons
Tendon is composed of rope-like fascicles bound together by interfascicular matrix (IFM). The IFM is critical for the function of energy storing tendons, facilitating sliding between fascicles to allow these tendons to cyclically stretch and recoil. This capacity is required to a lesser degree in positional tendons. We have previously demonstrated that both fascicles and IFM in energy storing tendons have superior fatigue resistance compared with positional tendons, but the effect of ageing on the fatigue properties of these different tendon subunits has not been determined. Energy storing tendons become more injury-prone with ageing, indicating reduced fatigue resistance, hence we tested the hypothesis that the decline in fatigue life with ageing in energy storing tendons would be more pronounced in the IFM than in fascicles. We further hypothesised that tendon subunit fatigue resistance would not alter with ageing in positional tendons. Fascicles and IFM from young and old energy storing and positional tendons were subjected to cyclic fatigue testing until failure, and mechanical properties were calculated. The results show that both IFM and fascicles from the SDFT exhibit a similar magnitude of reduced fatigue life with ageing. By contrast, the fatigue life of positional tendon subunits was unaffected by ageing. The age-related decline in fatigue life of tendon subunits in energy storing tendons is likely to contribute to the increased risk of injury in aged tendons. Full understanding of the mechanisms resulting in this reduced fatigue life will aid in the development of treatments and interventions to prevent age-related tendinopathy

We analyze the developments in mathematical rigor from the viewpoint of a
Burgessian critique of nominalistic reconstructions. We apply such a critique
to the reconstruction of infinitesimal analysis accomplished through the
efforts of Cantor, Dedekind, and Weierstrass; to the reconstruction of Cauchy's
foundational work associated with the work of Boyer and Grabiner; and to
Bishop's constructivist reconstruction of classical analysis. We examine the

studies by crossing critical thresholds in the search for the B-mode
polarization signature of primordial gravitational waves, in the determination
of the number and masses of the neutrinos, in the search for evidence of new

Central memory CD8+ T lymphocytes mediate lung allograft acceptance
Memory T lymphocytes are commonly viewed as a major barrier for long-term survival of organ allografts and are thought to accelerate rejection responses due to their rapid infiltration into allografts, low threshold for activation, and ability to produce inflammatory mediators. Because memory T cells are usually associated with rejection, preclinical protocols have been developed to target this population in transplant recipients. Here, using a murine model, we found that costimulatory blockadeâmediated lung allograft acceptance depended on the rapid infiltration of the graft by central memory CD8(+) T cells (CD44(hi)CD62L(hi)CCR7(+)). Chemokine receptor signaling and alloantigen recognition were required for trafficking of these memory T cells to lung allografts. Intravital 2-photon imaging revealed that CCR7 expression on CD8(+) T cells was critical for formation of stable synapses with antigen-presenting cells, resulting in IFN-Îł production, which induced NO and downregulated alloimmune responses. Thus, we describe a critical role for CD8(+) central memory T cells in lung allograft acceptance and highlight the need for tailored approaches for tolerance induction in the lung

Inflation and Dark Energy from spectroscopy at z > 2
The expansion of the Universe is understood to have accelerated during two
epochs: in its very first moments during a period of Inflation and much more
recently, at z < 1, when Dark Energy is hypothesized to drive cosmic
acceleration. The undiscovered mechanisms behind these two epochs represent
some of the most important open problems in fundamental physics. The large
cosmological volume at 2 < z < 5, together with the ability to efficiently
target high- galaxies with known techniques, enables large gains in the
study of Inflation and Dark Energy. A future spectroscopic survey can test the
Gaussianity of the initial conditions up to a factor of ~50 better than our
current bounds, crossing the crucial theoretical threshold of
of order unity that separates single field and
multi-field models. Simultaneously, it can measure the fraction of Dark Energy
at the percent level up to , thus serving as an unprecedented test of
the standard model and opening up a tremendous discovery space
Location and architecture of the Caulobacter crescentus chemoreceptor array
A new method for recording both fluorescence and cryo-EM images of small bacterial cells was developed and used to identify chemoreceptor arrays in cryotomograms of intact Caulobacter crescentus cells. We show that in wild-type cells preserved in a near-native state, the chemoreceptors are hexagonally packed with a lattice spacing of 12 nm, just a few tens of nanometers away from the flagellar motor that they control. The arrays were always found on the convex side of the cell, further demonstrating that Caulobacter cells maintain dorsal/ventral as well as anterior/posterior asymmetry. Placing the known crystal structure of a trimer of receptor dimers at each vertex of the lattice accounts well for the density and agrees with other constraints. Based on this model for the arrangement of receptors, there are between one and two thousand receptors per array
