PENGOLAHAN TSS DAN COD DALAM AIR LIMBAH DOMESTIK RUMAH MAKAN MENGGUNAKAN NANO BIOKOAGULAN DARI BIJI ASAM JAWA (TAMARINDUS INDICA)

Pemanfaatan koagulan kimia dalam pengolahan air limbah domestik khususnya rumah makan mulai tergantikan dengan koagulan alami khususnya dari biji asam jawa (Tamarindus indica). Biji asam jawa mengandung beberapa komposisi yang dapat digunakan sebagai koagulan dan zat aktif yang terkandung adalah tannin, saponin yang berfungsi membunuh mikroba dan membentuk larutan koloidal dan protein yang bekerja sebagai koagulan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh koagulan biji asam jawa pada variasi dosis dan variasi pengadukan dalam menurunkan kadar Total Suspended Solid dan Chemical Oxygen Demand air limbah domestik rumah makan. Penggunaan koagulan biji asam jawa dalam proses jartest untuk a) mengetahui dosis optimal koagulan, b) mengetahui kecepatan optimal pengadukan dan c) mengetahui hubungan antara pemberian dosis koagulan terhadap penurunan Total Suspended Solid dan Chemical Oxygen Demand. Sampel yang digunakan berasal dari air limbah Pizza Hut, Jl. Majapahit, Semarang. Penggunaan dosis koagulan 150 mg/l; 200 mg/l; 250 mg/l; 300 mg/l dengan kecepatan pengadukan cepat 100 rpm; 125 rpm; 150 rpm selama 2 menit, dilanjutkan pengadukan lambat 45 rpm selama 15 menit dan pengendapan selama 30 menit. Hasil penelitian dosis optimal penurunan Total Suspended Solid pengolahan I sebesar 152 mg/l dengan efisiensi 29,3% pada kecepatan pengadukan 150 rpm. Dosis optimal penurunan Total Suspended Solid pengolahan II sebesar 155 mg/l dengan efisiensi 24 % pada kecepatan pengadukan 125 rpm. Dosis optimal penurunan Total Suspended Solid pengolahan III sebesar 111 mg/l dengan efisiensi 41 % pada kecepatan pengadukan 150 rpm. Hasil penelitian dosis optimal penurunan Chemical Oxygen Demand pengolahan I sebesar 310 mg/l dengan efisiensi 30,6 % pada kecepatan pengadukan 150 rpm. Dosis optimal penurunan Chemical Oxygen Demand pengolahan II sebesar 307 mg/l dengan efisiensi 22,3 % pada kecepatan pengadukan 125 rpm. Mobile Journalism Practice in the Kompas.com Newsroom

Smartphones and social media have changed how the media gather, produce, edit, and disseminate news. By employing the journalistic capital concept, this paper examines how journalists in Kompas.com, one of the pioneers of online media in Indonesia, incorporate mobile journalism practice into their work. This article explores how journalists and newsrooms respond to change that coincides with mobile devices and social media in the newsroom. The qualitative data analysis obtained from in-depth interviews with Kompas.com journalists and document analysis revealed that the application of mojo in Kompas.com is relatively new and is still looking for a form. Kompas.com integrate mobile smartphones into journalistic work to produce stories with a multimedia approach to meet changing journalistic and business needs. Journalists are expected to produce journalistic content in short videos using mobile devices related to daily events around them. Thus, the practice of mojo emerged as a new order in journalism. Kompas.com develops a multimedia division and improves journalists’ skills through training on all desks in the newsroom. Mapping the ASEAN YouTube Uploaders

YouTube can now be categorized as mainstream media. It can be seen as a disruptive force in business and society, particularly concerning young people. There have been several recent studies about YouTube, providing essential insights on YouTube videos, viewers, social behavior, video traffic, and recommendation systems. However, research about YouTube uploaders has not been done much, especially YouTube uploaders from ASEAN countries. Using a combination of web content mining and content analysis, this paper reviews 600 YouTube uploaders using the data of Top 100 favorite YouTube uploaders in six ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines), which are retrieved from NoxInfluencer. The study aims to provide a wider picture of YouTube uploaders' characteristics from six ASEAN countries. This study also provides useful information about how to retrieve web documents using Google Web Scrapper automatically. The study results found that the entertainment category dominated the top 100 positions of the NoxInfluencer version. In almost every country analyzed, channels related to news and politics are less attractive to YouTube users. For YouTube uploaders, YouTube can be a potential revenue source through advertising or in collaboration with specific brands. The Relationship between Media Literacy and Information Processing Ability in 360-degree Video

Immersive journalism presents information of an event from a first-person perspective to the audience through 360-degree videos that can be watched on smartphones. However, an immersive experience does not guarantee that Gen Z audiences will understand the information conveyed, due to the attraction of short attention spans. Audiences need skills to be able to navigate the media they watch to get the information they consume. Literacy studies on immersive 360-degree video, especially in Indonesia, are still rare. Even though digital media is increasingly immersive in presenting content, it is not known how far young audiences are able to analyze and critically assess the content accessed. This study aims to measure the media literacy level of the audience and its influence on the ability to process 360-degree video. A survey was conducted of 400 students in Jakarta in November 2022. The findings show that the processing capacity of 360-degree videos is significantly affected by a person’s level of media literacy. The better their media literacy ability, the easier it is for someone to process information from 360-degree videos

Peringkat indeks daya saing pariwisata Indonesia di dunia naik menjadi peringkat 40 di tahun 2019 dari peringkat 42 di tahun 2017. Hal itu berdasarkan Laporan The Travel & Tourism Competitiveness Report yang dirilis WEF (World Economic Forum) 2019 baru-baru ini. Di dunia, Indonesia berada di peringkat 40 dari 140 negara. Di kawasan Asia Tenggara, indeks daya saing pariwisata Indonesia berada di peringkat empat. ANALISA CEDERA OLAHRAGA PADA ATLET FUTSAL FAKULTAS KEDOKTERAN UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH JAKARTA

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui persentase cedera cabang olahraga futsal di usia 18-22 tahun yang terjadi pada atlet futsal Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta dengan menggunakan metode survey melalui google from pada atlet futsal Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta. Proses pengumpulan data munggunakan purposive sampling yaitu sampel diambil sebanyak 20 atlet futsal Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta, atlet yang aktif dalam latihan futsal dan pernahmengalami cedera olahraga dari populasi sebanyak 40 atlet. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan setelah penyebaran angket melalui google from kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data deskriptif kuantitatif. Selanjutnya untuk menghitung persentase yangtermasuk dalam kategori disetiap aspek digunakan rumus dari Anas Sudijono (2006: 3), yaitu: P = F/N x 100%. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan (1) penyebab cedera olahraga yang kadang-kadang terjadi cedera adalah faktor eksogen, (2) sifat cedera olahraga yang kadang – kadang terjadi cedera adalah pada fase kronis, (3) jenis cedera olahraga yang sering terjadi adalah cedera memar otot karena sering terjadinya body contact dan non body contact, (4) derajat cedera olahraga yang sering terjadi adalah tingkat cedera sedang, (5) lokasi cedera yang sering terjadi cedera adalah bagian pergelangan kaki, (6) penanganan cedera yang paling banyak digunakan adalah menggunakan metode RICE tetapi yang digunakan hanya Rest dan Ice ********** ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the percentage of injuries in futsal sports in Indonesia aged 18-22 years that occurred in futsal athletes, Faculty of Medicine, University Muhammadiyah Jakarta using a survey method via google from futsal athletes, Faculty of Medicine, Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta. Efficiency and effectivity enhancement is a problem of every company. Material stocks optimization is an effort for this problem, and it can be done by choosing the best system, when the material be used for production and needed to control material stocks. The purpose of this study is to analyze inventory problem using dynamic system simulation (Powersim). The application of some scenarios results in references as a policy formula in considerations. Skripsi ini membahas tentang konstruksi berita Presiden Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono terkait isu dugaan penyalahgunaan kekuasaan dalam surat kabar Media Indonesia dan Kompas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui konstruksi berita yang dikembangkan oleh masing-masing surat kabar dalam melihat permasalahan yang sama sekaligus mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi konstruksi berita tersebut. Dalam melakukan penelitian, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan berpegang pada paradigma konstruktivis. Berdasarkan analisis framing yang telah dilakukan, diketahui bahwa Media Indonesia dan Kompas melakukan pembingkaian terhadap dugaan penyalahgunaan kekuasaan dengan kecenderungan yang berbeda. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa faktor kebijakan redaksi, visi-misi serta falsafah yang dianut oleh masing-masing media mempengaruhi pembentukan berita, sehingga dapat dipahami bahwa realitas yang sama dipersepsikan dan dikonstruksikan secara berbeda oleh masing-masing media dan menghasilkan konstruksi realitas bentukan media berupa berita, yang memiliki nuansa yang berbeda

From Competion to Sinergy: Untuk Laboratorium Ilmu Komunikasi se-Indonesia

Laboratorium ilmu komunikasi di Indonesia selayaknya menjadi ruang eksperimen hasil pembelajaran di ruang kelas. Untuk itu, keberadaan laboratorium memiliki peranan yang signifikan dalam mendukung capaian pembelajaran peserta didik. Hasil survei Pengurus Pusat ASPIKOM tahun 2020 terhadap 137 (Prestianta, 2020) prodi rumpun komunikasi menunjukkan hasil yang menarik. Hampir sebagian besar prodi memiliki laboratorium radio, fotografi, televisi, broadcasting, dan multimedia. Ini menandakan bahwa setiap prodi komunikasi memiliki arah tujuan yang sama dalam menyediakan laboratorium berikut dengan penamaannya
