    The aim of writing this article is to discuss the role of colleagues in improving employee performance at the Padepokan Buffet Restaurant. This research uses a qualitative research method approach with primary data collection techniques through interviews and secondary data using literature studies. The analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the role of coworkers has a significant impact on employee performance in restaurants. The effective role of coworkers can influence employee performance through several mechanisms. First, through good teamwork, colleagues can increase employee productivity and work quality. Synergistic teamwork enables the exchange of knowledge and experience that can improve individual skills

    Legal Protection Policy for Obstetricians-Gynecologists in Cases of Maternal, Perinatal, and Neonatal Mortality

    Introduction to The Problem: Obstetrician-gynecologists (OB-GYNs) must be observant in diagnosing diseases suffered by patients. OB-GYNs who act based on their knowledge can certainly not be blamed if their actions are already according to the procedures. Legal policies protect OB-GYNs in the case of a patient’s death.Purpose/Objective Study: This article aims to analyze the legal protection for OB-GYNs in cases of maternal, perinatal, and neonatal mortalities. Design/Methodology/Approach: This research was a field research with juridical-sociological method conducted in 2021. The researchers conducted interviews with four informants who experienced maternal, perinatal, or neonatal emergencies.Findings: Conditions with a high risk of maternal, perinatal, and neonatal deaths are handled by OB-GYNs. OB-GYNs must be proficient in the standards for obstetric and neonatal emergencies. OB-GYNs who have correctly followed the processes but experienced an accident also have the right to legal protection. In providing health services, OB-GYNs do not only examine the patients, but they also make efforts to recover the patient through treatments. In health law, such efforts of recovery are known as the Therapeutic Agreement. The relationship between obstetricians and patients is bound to a therapeutic transaction. OB-GYNs have the legal obligation to make improvements in their efforts and expertise in healing patients. Legal regulations stipulated in the Indonesian Civil Law are still too general. There  was one case involving dr DASP SpOG and dr HS SpOG, who were sentenced with 10 months in prison because they violated article 39 of the Indonesian Criminal Code because their patient died during the treatment. This case caused unrest among the OB-GYNs. Therefore, there needs to be a law that regulates the relationship between OB-GYNs and their patients. In terms of human rights in Indonesia, this particular healthcare issue is regulated in Law Number 36 of 2009 regarding Health (Indonesian Health Act). Chapter III Article 1 clause (1) and (4) specifially regulate the patients' rights.     Empowering AI-Diagnosis: Deep Learning Abilities for Accurate Atrial Fibrillation Classification

    Artificial intelligence (AI) is a powerful technology that can enhance clinical decision-making and the efficiency of global health systems. An AI-enabled electrocardiogram (ECG) is an essential tool for diagnosing heart abnormalities such as arrhythmias. The most prevalent arrhythmia globally is atrial fibrillation (AF), which is an irregular heart rhythm that originates in the atria and can lead to other heart-related complications. A trusted AI classification of AF is explored in this study. Deep learning (DL) has been used to analyze large amounts of publicly available ECG datasets in order to classify normal sinus rhythm (NSR), AF, and other types of arrhythmias. A convolutional neural network (CNN) has been proposed to extract ECG features and classify ECG signals. Based on a 10-fold cross-validation strategy, we conducted experiments involving three scenarios for AF classification: (i) a balanced set, an imbalanced set, and an extremely imbalanced set; (ii) a comparison of ECG denoising algorithms; and (iii) the classification of AF, NSR, and other arrhythmia types (15 classes). As a result, we have achieved 100% accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, precision, and F1-score for the AF, NSR, and non-AF classifications, both for balanced and imbalanced sets. In addition, for the classification of AF, NSR, and other types of arrhythmia (15 classes), the performance results achieved an accuracy of 99.77%, sensitivity of 96.48%, specificity of 99.87%, precision of 97.03%, and F1-score of 96.68%. The results can empower AI diagnosis and assist clinicians in classifying AF on routine screening ECGs

    Pengaruh Pemberian Ekstrak Ophiocephalus striatus terhadap Kadar TNF-α dan TGF-β1 serta Kapasitas Difusi Paru dan Kualitas Hidup pada Pasien PPOK Stabil dengan Muscle Wasting

    Latar belakang : Penurunan massa otot rangka merupakan manifestasi ekstra paru yang ditemukan pada sekitar 50% pasien PPOK dan mengakibatkan penurunan kualitas hidup serta peningkatan mortalitas. Ketidakseimbangan sintesis dan degradasi protein yang melibatkan TNF-α dan TGF-β1 berperan dalam terjadinya muscle wasting, baik pada otot rangka maupun otot pernapasan yang lebih lanjut mempengaruhi kapasitas difusi paru terhadap karbonmonoksida (DLCO). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan pengaruh pemberian ekstrak Ophiocephalus striatus – suatu suplementasi nutrisi oral yang kaya akan protein dan asam amino – terhadap penurunan kadar TNF-α dan TGF-β1 serta perbaikan DLCO dan kualitas hidup pasien PPOK dengan muscle wasting. Metode : Penelitian klinis dengan metode quasi experimental pada pasien PPOK dengan muscle wasting di Poli Paru Rumah Sakit Umum Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang, di mana 32 pasien diberikan suplementasi nutrisi ekstrak Ophiocephalus striatus selama 12 minggu. Pengukuran kadar TNF-α, TGF-β1, DLCO, dan skor CAT sebagai parameter kualitas hidup dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi nutrisi. Hasil : Terdapat perubahan tidak signifikan pada penurunan kadar TNF-α dan peningkatan kapasitas difusi paru (masing-masing p=0,681 dan p=0,369). Tetapi ditemukan perubahan signifikan pada penurunan kadar TGF-β1 (p=0,000) dan peningkatan kualitas hidup yang diukur dengan skor CAT (p=0,000). Tidak ditemukan adanya korelasi yang signifikan antara kadar sitokin inflamasi tersebut dengan kapasitas difusi paru maupun skor CAT Kesimpulan : Ekstrak Ophiocephalus striatus sebagai suplementasi nutrisi oral mampu menurunkan kadar TNF-α memperbaiki DLCO. Selain itu, kadar TGF-β1 sebagai sitokin fibrogenik dan kualitas hidup menjadi lebih baik secara signifikan setelah suplementasi nutrisi. Hasil penelitian ini mempertimbangkan peranan penting dari pemberian suplementasi nutrisi oral sebagai tatalaksana bagi pasien PPOK dengan muscle wasting
