Estimates for oscillatory integrals with phase having DD type singularities

In this paper, we consider estimates for the two-dimensional oscillatory integrals. The phase function of the oscillatory integrals is the linear perturbation of a function having DD type singularities. We consider estimates for the oscillatory integrals in terms of the Randol's type maximal functions. We obtain a sharp LlocpL^p_{loc} estimates for the Randol's maximal functions. Moreover, we investigate the sharp exponent pp depending on whether, the phase function has linearly adapted coordinates system or not.Comment: 24 page

Sharp estimates for convolution operators associated to hypersurfaces in R3\mathbb{R}^3 with height h2h\le2

In this article, we study the convolution operator MkM_k with oscillatory kernel, which is related with solutions to the Cauchy problem for the strictly hyperbolic equations. The operator MkM_k is associated to the characteristic hypersurface ΣR3\Sigma\subset \mathbb{R}^3 of the equation and the smooth amplitude function, which is homogeneous of order k-k for large values of the argument. We study the convolution operators assuming that the support of the corresponding amplitude function is contained in a sufficiently small conic neighborhood of a given point vΣv\in \Sigma at which the height of the surface is less or equal to two. Such class contains surfaces related to simple and the X9,J10X_9, \, J_{10} type singularities in the sense of Arnol'd's classification. Denoting by kpk_p the minimal exponent such that MkM_k is LpLpL^p\mapsto L^{p'}-bounded for k>kp,k>k_p, we show that the number kpk_p depends on some discrete characteristics of the Newton polygon of a smooth function constructed in an appropriate coordinate system.Comment: 20 page

This article explores the issues of the effective use of financial analysis methods in assessing the financial and economic activities of enterprises with state participation. As a result of a comparative analysis of the financial condition of these enterprises, the probability of bringing some existing ratios to artificial bankruptcy is determined, recommendations are developed for their improvement. In particular, comparing the models for assessing economic insolvency and the conclusion from the state of bankruptcy in developed countries, scientific proposals are given for choosing the optimal model for the economy of the Republic

Leadership in agricultural machinery circles: experimental evidence from Tajikistan

    Get PDF
Leadership is critical for the viability of rural groups. The way in which leadership is legitimised can mediate leader and group member behaviour in the face of social dilemmas. Yet there has been scant research on leader‐follower dynamics in naturally occurring groups. Highlighting the case of agricultural machinery circles in Tajikistan, the effect of leading by example on investments to a collective good is studied in a framed field experiment. To increase realism, and contrary to standard economic experiments, this investment is a voucher allowing the group to make a real‐world machinery purchase at reduced costs. Two treatments manipulate leaders’ legitimisation. Elected leaders achieve 30 per cent higher contributions to the collective investment against a baseline version without a leader. Contributions remain, on average, relatively stable over the course of the game. The results are discussed with reference to the debate on external intervention in agricultural producer organisations.Peer Reviewe

Phytochemical analysis and biological evaluation of Lagochilus species from Uzbekistan

The species of the genus Lagochilus (Lamiaceae) are widespread in Central, South-Central, and Eastern Asia. Some of these species are used for their medicinal and therapeutic effects, in particular as hemostatic, anti-inflammatory and anti-epileptic agents. A new iridoid, glucoside 7- cinnamoyllamalbide, along with known compounds lagochilin, 5-hydroxy-7,4'- dimethoxyflavone, daucosterol, β-sitosterol, 8-acetylharpagide were isolated from L. gypsaceus. The high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC) method was used to determine the chemical fingerprints of 7 different Lagochilus species (L. acutilobus, L. gypsaceus, L. inebrians, L. olgae, L. proskorjakovii, L. setulosus, L. vvedenskyi). Among the tested species, lagochilin content was highest in the endemic species L. inebrians collected from the Djizzakh region of Uzbekistan. In free radical scavenging and reducing power assays, L. inebrans and L. vvedenskyi exhibited the strongest abilities. Regarding cholinesterases, amylase and glucosidase inhibition abilities of the tested samples, 5-hydroxy-7,4'-dimethoxyflavone was the most active compound
