Современные проблемы проектирования и строительства многофункциональных жилых комплексов (МФЖК) в ОАЭ
In article modern problems of space-planning, constructive solutions of modern perspective multipurpose housing estates in the conditions of a hot arid climate, with emphasis on national features of the United Arab Emirates are considered. MSHE are the complexes which are carrying out a set of functions, uniting in itself the dwelling, expanded typological structure, establishment of service, culture, communication, entertainments, and also offices and trading enterprises. The architectural solution of MSHE is a result of architectural judgment of a number of objective factors: climatic, economic, social conditions, town-planning situation, space-planning structure of a complex, its constructive scheme, technoВ статье рассматриваются современные проблемы объемно-планировочных, конструктивных решений современных перспективных многофункциональных жилых комплексов в условиях жарко-сухого климата, с акцентом на национальные особенности ОАЭ
Interplay of Soft and Hard Interactions in Nuclear Shadowing at High and Low x
Nuclear shadowing corrections are dominated by soft interaction and grow as
function of more slowly than the single scattering term, which has an
essential contribution from hard interaction. Therefore, we predict vanishing
nuclear shadowing at very low provided that is high and fixed. At the
same time, at medium and low , nuclear shadowing grows with as is
well known for soft hadronic interactions.Comment: Latex file, 8 pages including 4 Postscript figures. To appear in the

Factorization properties of the diffraction dissociation of longitudinal photons
We develop the pQCD description of the diffraction dissociation (DD) of
longitudinal photons. We demonstrate that the longitudinal diffractive
structure function does not factor into the flux of pomerons and the partonic
structure function of the pomeron, thus defying the usually assumed Regge
factorization. In contrast to DD of the transverse photons, DD of the
longitudinal photons is strongly peaked at . We comment on duality
properties of DD in deep inelastic scattering.Comment: 11 page
Excitation of open charm and factorization breaking in rapidity gap events at HERA
We develop the pQCD description of diffraction excitation of heavy flavours
in DIS and we derive the analytic formulas for the mass spectrum in leading
log. The result illustrates nicely non-factorization properties of the
QCD pomeron. We predict a very steep rise of the charm content of diffraction
dissociation of photons at small x_{\Pom}. We evaluate the contribution of
open charm to scaling violations in the structure function of the pomeron.Comment: 13 pages. Accepted for publication on march 10th 1996 by Phys. Lett.
Possible influence of the two string events on the hadron formation in a nuclear environment
One of the basic assumptions of the string model is that as a result of a DIS
in nucleus a single string arises, which then breaks into hadrons. However the
pomeron exchange considered in this work, leads to the production of two
strings in the one event. The hadrons produced in these events have smaller
formation lengths, than those with the same energy produced in the single
string events. As a consequence, they undergo more substantial absorption in
the nuclear matter
Diffractive photon dissociation in the saturation regime from the Good and Walker picture
Combining the QCD dipole model with the Good and Walker picture, we formulate
diffractive dissociation of a photon of virtuality Q^2 off a hadronic target,
in the kinematical regime in which Q is close to the saturation scale and much
smaller than the invariant mass of the diffracted system. We show how the
obtained formula compares to the HERA data and discuss what can be learnt from
such a phenomenology. In particular, we argue that diffractive observables in
these kinematics provide useful pieces of information on the saturation regime
of QCD.Comment: 17 pages, 7 figures, revte
Polarized deep inelastic scattering at high energies and parity violating structure functions
A comprehensive analysis of deep inelastic scattering of polarized charged
leptons on polarized nucleons is presented; weak interaction contributions,
both in neutral and charged current processes, are taken into account and the
parity violating polarized nucleon structure functions are studied. Possible
ways of their measurements and their interpretations in the parton model are
discussed.Comment: (slightly modified version, includes a few new references and

Exploratory study of shrinkage of the diffraction cone for the generalized BFKL pomeron
In color dipole gBFKL dynamics, we describe the emerging gBFKL phenomenology
of a subasymptotic energy dependence of the diffraction slope and discuss
possibilities of testing the gBFKL predictions in exclusive photo- and
electroproduction of vector mesons at HERA. A substantial shrinkage of the
diffraction cone processes from the CERN/FNAL to
HERA range of energy is predicted. This subasymptotic shrinkage is faster
than expected from the small slope of pomeron's Regge trajectory
\alpha_{\Pom}'. We point out that the diffraction slope is a scaling function
of , what relates production of different vector mesons.Comment: plain LaTeX, 4 figures upon the request from

Design of an automatic solar lighting system
Today, the worldwide research trends are heading towards producing environmental friendly outcomes. Thus, today the electricity is mostly generated from renewable sources such as sunlight, wind, tides and other to reduce dependency on non-renewable sources like hydroelectrics, fossil fuels and others. This paper presents an innovation of the automatic lighting system with the solar as a source of the system. Charger controller circuit is necessary to cut off the current of the rechargeable battery when reaching its maximum voltage. Dark-on relay circuit functions as an automatic switch to the light so that the light will be automatically turned on when there is no light or at night. Otherwise, the light will be turned off. The system can be applied to the room light, outdoor light, corridor light, spotlight or streetlight. The system is low cost and beneficial for home usage to save electricity bills and when the occupants are absent for relatively long period of time. Keywords: renewable energy; solar energy; green technology; sustainable; dark on relay; automatic lighting system; analog electronic circuits; LD
Nonvanishing tensor polarization of sea quarks in polarized deuterons
We propose two new sources of a substantial tensor polarization of sea
partons in the deuteron: the diffractive nuclear shadowing which depends on the
alignment of nucleons in the polarized deuteron and the nuclear excess of pions
in the deuteron which is sensitive to the spin state of the deuteron. The
corresponding tensor structure function rises towards small x
and we predict an about one per cent tensor asymmetry
which by almost two orders in
magnitude exceeds the effect evaluated earlier in the impulse approximation.
The both mechanisms for tensor structure function break the sum rule suggested by Close and Kumano. We comment on the impact of
tensor polarization on the determination of the vector spin structure function
for the deuteron.Comment: 17 pages, LaTeX, including 3 eps-figures, uses epsfig-macro,
