    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya lembaga-lembaga yang masih belum dapat mengembangkan kemampuan siswa dengan optimal karena sarana dan prasarana yang kurang mendukung. Namun pada lembaga-lembaga yang sudah mengimplementasikan kegiatan diluar kegiatan inti pun seperti halnya kegiatan intrakurikuler ini, masih banyak yang perlu ditingkatkan. Penilaian orang tua pun dirasa penting dan itu adalah salah satu yang mendorong agar kegiatan ini berjalan dengan baik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penilaian orang tua sejauh mana pengetahuan, dukungan serta harapan orang tua terhadap kegiatan ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survei dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah 27 responden dan teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan kuesioner (Angket). Dengan menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, maka seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian. Dalam hasil penelitian terungkap bahwa sebagian besar atau mayoritas dari penilaian orang tua terhadap kegiatan intrakurikuler drum band di TK YWKA Kota Bandung adalah positif/setuju artinya orang tua sadar betul dengan manfaat dari kegiatan drumband itu sendiri dan orang tua juga mendukung dengan adanya kegiatan drum band di TK YWKA. Penilaian orang tua ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dukungan bagi anak untuk lebih semangat dalam melakukan kegiatan drumband agar anak dapat menyalurkan minat dan bakat yang dimilikinya, juga bagi pihak sekolah agar lebih baik lagi dalam mempersiapkan dan melaksanakan kegiatan intrakurikuler dumband ini. This research is motivated by the existence of institutions that have not been able to develop students' abilities optimally because of inadequate facilities and infrastructure. However, even in institutions that have implemented activities outside of the core activities such as these intracurricular activities, there is still much that needs to be improved. Parental assessment is also considered important and that is one of the reasons for this activity to run well. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of parental knowledge, support and expectations of parents for this activity. This study uses a survey research method using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 27 respondents and the research data collection technique used a questionnaire (Questionnaire). By using a saturated sample technique, the entire population is sampled in the study. In the research results it was revealed that most or the majority of parents' assessments of drum band intracurricular activities at TK YWKA Kota Bandung were positive / agreed, meaning that parents were very aware of the benefits of the drumband activity itself and parents also supported the drum band activities in Bandung. This parental assessment is expected to be a support for children to be more enthusiastic in carrying out drumband activities so that children can channel their interests and talents, as well as for the school to be even better in preparing and implementing this dumband intracurricular activity

    The purpose of this research is to examine the strengthening of character education in the implementation of the independent curriculum. With the Systematic Literature Review approach, it can provide information on whether schools have understood the independent curriculum, what are the obstacles faced by schools, and whether the Pancasila student profile has been implemented so that it becomes the character education of the whole student. This study examines 5 articles on strengthening character education in the implementation of the independent curriculum. From the results of the SRL, it can be concluded that strengthening character education in the implementation of the independent curriculum has obstacles, among others, not fully understanding the essence of "independent learning" so that it has not been able to optimize the strengthening of the Pancasila learner profile, limited time informed by the learners, limited time in learning activities, little subject substance, limited technological knowledge owned by the learners, very less learner attention to subjects and so on. According to the findings of this research, the independent curriculum is most effective in developing the character of its students through the development of the Pancasila student profile. Pancasila students engage in project-based learning activities as part of their profile development. The Pancasila learner profile is expected to produce graduates who demonstrate the characteristics and abilities or skills that are needed and achievable, as well as possessing the necessary skills and knowledge

    This research was conducted based on the problems faced by students in learning English especially in reading descriptive text. Based on the fact, the students had problems to comprehend the descriptive text. In this case, the writer was interested in carrying out the research on these problems. The writer provided List-Group-Label Strategy to improve students’ reading comprehension. This strategy could be used to help students to comprehend the text. The main focus of this research was to find out whether or not there was a significant effect of using and without using List-Group-Label Strategy on students’ reading comprehension at Junior High School Telkom Pekanbaru.This research had two variables in which using List-Group-Label Strategy was an independent variable and students’ reading comprehension was a dependent variable. The type of research was a Pre experimental research. The subject of this research was the eighth grade students at Junior High School Telkom Pekanbaru. The writer took one class: VIII B class was an experimental class. There were 24 students as sample from 85 students at Junior High School Telkom Pekanbaru. In collecting the data, the writer used multiple choices test, then, the writer used a paired sample t-test formula by using SPSS 18 version for the data analysis. Based on the analysis of data, the result showed that If probability > 0.05, null hypothesis ( Ho) is accepted. If probability < 0.05 alternative hypothesis ( Ha) was accepted. Because the significance was 0.000<0.05, thus, Ha was accepted while Ho was rejected. It could be concluded that there was a significant effect of using List-Group-Label Strategy on Students’ reading comprehension at Junior High School Telkom Pekanbaru

    West Aceh with its vast sea brings good benefits to the community, the natural resources contained in the sea are very abundant, so that they can be utilised for the welfare of the community. With a very large sea zone, West Aceh is vulnerable to the criminal act of smuggling illegal cigarettes. One of the criminal offences that occurred was the smuggling of illegal cigarettes. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the Supervision of the Meulaboh Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office (KPPBC) in supervising the smuggling of illegal cigarettes and what are the factors that become obstacles for the Meulaboh Customs and Excise Supervision and Service Office (KPPBC) in conducting supervision of illegal cigarettes. The purpose of this study is to determine the Supervision of the Office of Customs and Excise Supervision and Services (KPPBC) Meulaboh in supervision of the smuggling of Illegal Cigarettes and to find out also the factors that become obstacles in conducting supervision of the smuggling of Illegal Cigarettes. This research is included in the type of empirical legal research. The results of this study are that the supervision carried out on the circulation of illegal cigarettes without excise until now is still widespread in the Meulaboh area, which handles excisable goods or illegal excise that has entered into the Meulaboh area, namely the Section Head of Enforcement and Investigation, as well as Factors that become obstacles for the Office of Customs and Excise Supervision and Services (KPPBC) Meulaboh in conducting supervision of illegal cigarettes, namely the Lack of Patrol Officer Personnel, Large Geographical Area, Economic Factors, Still weak supervision carried out by customs and excise officers and the lack of operational facilities

    Filsafat sebagai ibu dari segala ilmu pengetahuan digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dalam Kurikulum Belajar Mandiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan relevansi filsafat dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia sesuai dengan Kurikulum Belajar Mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat relevansi filsafat dalam pembelajaran bahasa sesuai dengan Kurikulum Belajar Mandiri. Pertama, filsafat memberikan arahan pada pembelajaran bahasa. Kedua, pembelajaran bahasa merupakan bagian dari ontologi filsafat. Ketiga, pembelajaran bahasa, khususnya dalam kurikulum belajar mandiri, menggunakan teori filsafat konstruktivisme. Keempat, pembelajaran bahasa sesuai dengan teori filsafat modern dan postmodern. Kelima, filsafat moral digunakan dalam pembelajaran bahasa untuk mencapai kompetensi karakter Pancasila. Keenam, filsafat dan pembelajaran bahasa memiliki hubungan timbal balik.     Persoalan tentang perempuan merupakan persoalan yang menyangkut hak–hak dasar perempuan sebagai makhluk ciptaan tuhan. Jika pada umumnya, karya sastra feminisme hanya muncul dari kelompok pengarang perempuan, maka saat ini feminisme dalam bentuk karya sastra juga muncul dari pengarang pria. Penelitian ini berfokus pada representasi feminisme dalam cerpen bertemakan perempuan dari pengarang dengan gender berbeda yang terdapat pada Cerpen “Laki-laki ke 1000 di ranjangku” karya Emha Ainun Nadjib dan cerpen “Air” karya Djenar Maesya Ayu ditinjau dari teori psikoanalisis. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan ekspresif. Pendekatan ini dilakukan untuk melihat bagaimanakah perbedaan aspek kejiwaan pengarang dengan gender berbeda dalam merepresentasikan feminisme. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu peneliti yang dibantu laporan pecatatan dan alat tulis. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode content analysis yaitu dengan cara mendeskripsikan fakta-fakta tentang Id, Ego dan Super Ego tokoh utama yang merupakan representasi dari Id, Ego Dan Super Ego Pengarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan cara representasi dari dua pengarang dengan gender berbeda. Keseluruhan wujud representasi tersebut tercermin dalam aspek psikologi berupa Id, Ego dan Super Ego yang terdapat pada watak tokoh utama, berupa konflik batin pada diri tokoh perempuan yang disampaikan dengan cara yang berbeda dan khas

    Vocabulary Self Collection Strategy to Increase Vocabulary Mastery

    This research focused on increasing vocabulary mastery by using of Vocabulary Self-Collection Strategy. This research used CAR as the design which conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of plan, implementation, observation and reflection. This research has 20 students (15 female and 5 male) as the subject research.&nbsp; They are the ESP (English as Specific Purpose) students of Indonesian language and literature education in the second semester. The result showed that mean score of the first cycle was 67 while in the second cycle was 94.3. There is 27.3 improvement from cycle one to cycle two. In short, the application of Vocabulary Self-Collection Strategy can be applied as the strategy to improve vocabulary mastery to the students

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa metode efektif guru dalam mengajarkan kosakata bahasa Inggris padasantri Pondok Pesantren Denanyar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptifkualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMA di Pondok Pesantren Denanyar. Kuisioner penelitian menghasilkan65,2% suka menggunakan gambar, 26,1% menggunakan hafalan, dan 8,7% menggunakan terjemahan. Dari Hasilpenelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan kartu bergambar atau kertas dapat meningkatkan kosakatabahasa Inggris di kelas
