Democracia insurgente e Institución

En este artículo se plantea la viabilidad de una forma de democracia que se encuentra apartada de las grandes corrientes de referencia, como son la democracia representativa y sus variantes discursivas, deliberativas o participativas; o el recurso a la crítica de la propia democracia. El texto en cuestión plantea, además de la posibilidad de dicha opción, su realización mediante la repolitización de la sociedad civil, y su institucionalización. Para ello toma elementos tanto de la tradición escrita como de los grandes acontecimientos revolucionarios de la época contemporánea.In this paper is proposed the viability of a form of democracy that is located away from the major currents of reference, as are representative democracy and his discursive, delibera­tive, participative variants; or the action to the critique of democracy. The text suggest, in addition to the possibility of that option, his realization by the re-politicization of civil society and his institutionalization. For this, takes parts both as the written tradition as the great revolutionary events of the contemporary period

Den vedblivende utopi

PERSISTENT UTOPIA | Persistent utopia is not to be confused with the conservative notion of an eternal utopia as a static and authoritarian ideal. Rather, persistent utopia is an impulse towards freedom and justice. It is a fragile phenomenon which is seeking to avoid the closure of reality through a constant displacement. The sites of the persistent utopia can be located at two different levels: through the ontological thinking of Ernst Bloch and through the ethical philosophy of Emmanuel Levinas which takes the encounter as its point of departure. The present forms of the persistence of utopia can be seen, e.g., in the “new utopian spirit” as a responseto the dialectics of emancipation, and in the relation between utopia and democracy

Utopía y democracia

El presente artículo realiza un contrapunto entre estos dos conceptos, cuestionando que exista entre ellos una antinomia irreducible, y propone explorar una conjunción entre la exuberancia de la utopía y la sobriedad de la democracia. En su desarrollo, el autor revisa la idea instalada de que la utopía no puede ser sino totalitaria, y busca restituir a la utopía su capacidad de movimiento. Profundizando en los conceptos de democracia y utopía propone una nueva conexión entre ambos, situando a la democracia y la utopía bajo el signo de lo humano.Cet article compare deux concepts, s'interrogeant sur le fait qu'il existe entre eux une antinomie irréductible, et propose d'explorer une conjonction entre l'exubérance de l'utopie et la sobriété de la démocratie. Dans son développement, l'auteur revient sur l'idée établit que l'utopie ne peut être que totalitaire, et cherche à restituer à l'utopie sa capacité de mouvement. En réfléchissant sur les concepts de démocratie et utopie il propose une nouvelle connexion entre les deux, en les plaçant sous le signe de l'humain.This article makes a counterpoint between these two concepts, questioning whether there is an irreducible antinomy between them, and aims to explore a conjunction between the exuberance of utopia and the sobriety of democracy.
